Snowy kept playing with her fingers as she
walked with Starr. She was freaking nervous
and at the same time she was uncomfortable
with the silence in between them.
She didn’t even know what to say. She didn’t
wanna say anything that will upset him. He
seemed to be a cold person, so she don’t wanna
make bad impression at first start.
“Urm, I’m sorry I had to pull you away like that. I
noticed, you were trying to avoid what was
happening but the guy kept on pushing, so I
thought I should stop you.” Snowy explained
and Starr looked at her.
How did she know? No one have ever
understood him, no one could read him, but she
did that with ease.
He stared at her surprisingly. Snowy chuckled
nervously.
“What would you like to eat?” She inquired to
ease the awkwardness and Starr exhaled.
“I’m not hungry.” He said and Snowy nodded.
“Me too.” She lied and her stomach chose that
moment to disgrace her by grumbling.
She closed her eyes in embarrassment.
“Sowy.” She said and Starr gave a small smile,
which disappeared immediately it appeared.

Starr returned to the garden with a white nylon
and he handed it to her.
“Here.” He said and she smiled, gladly collecting
it from him.
“Thank you.” She said and opened the nylon.
She brought the snacks – burger and milkshake
and she grinned. She hungrily unwrapped the
burger and took a bite then she smiled.
“Hmm… Yummy.” She said, licking her lips in
relish, then she turned to him.
“Have some.” She said, sharing her burger with
him but he shook his head.
“No, thanks.” He said.
“C’mon, I can’t it finish this, please.” She pleaded
with a pout and he looked at her and sighed,
before collecting the burger from her and she
giggled.
“Thanks.” She said as he bit it and she she did
the same, dangling her legs excitedly.
Starr stared at the face and he found himself
smiling as he ate the burger in silence.

<CLASSROOM>
Snowy walked back into the class with Starr and
the two went to their separate seats.
It was end of their break so all student had
started returning to the classroom.
Aubrey immediately rushed to her seat, since
the teacher hasn’t arrive.
“You got to talk to Starr. Really? How did you do
it?” Rayne asked and she shrugged with a smile.
“I just talk to him, like I did with you.” She said
and Rayne shook her head.
“No, it can’t be that way. Starr is someone who
hardly talks to anyone, so tell us what magic
you performed.” Rayne said and Snowy
chuckled.
“Maybe I’m different.” She said and they
chuckled.
“Anyway, who are those girls? They aren’t yet in
class.” Snowy said and Rayne nodded.
“The girls you saw earlier. They’re called B³ or
you can say three Ɓîtçhes. Arrogant rude brats,
that’s what they are. And you see the tallest girl
amongst them. She’s Brittany, and the bossiest
amongst them. She has a crush on Starr.” She
whispered the last sentence and Snowy nodded.
“Whoa.” She muttered and slowly turned to look
at Starr who was reading his book.
“Is she intelligent?” Snowy asked and Rayne
nodded.
“Sadly, yes. She’s always competing with Starr,
but she can’t beat him.” Rayne told her and she
nodded.
“And third?” Aubrey asked.
“Who else if not me?” Rayne asked, flaunting
her hair and they chuckled.
“Look, those girls derive joy in bullying so don’t
let them intimidate you in anyway, okay. I know
they’ll surely come for you, since both Starr and
Pierce seems to have an eye for you.” Rayne
said and Snowy furrowed.
“Me??”
“Speak of the devil.” Rayne muttered as the B³
walked into the classroom with arrogance
oozing from them.
They exchanged murderous look with Rayne
and Snowy before walking to their seat.
“Don’t be scared okay?”
“I’m not scared of them actually.” Snowy said
and Rayne smiled.

The bell rang signalling the end of the day, and
the students grabbed their bag and began
leaving the class one after one.
“She’s about leaving, let’s go to her now.” Brielle
said to the girls and they made to take a step
but someone beat them to it.
Snowy was putting her books inside her bag
when she felt the presence before her and she
raised her head to see the same guy she
bumped into yesterday.
Pierce! That was his name. She remembered the
teacher calling him that when he entered the
class that morning.
“What?” She asked, searching him with her eyes.
“Are you done?” He asked and she shrugged.
“Yes. Why do you ask?” She asked and he
nodded and held her hand before taking her out
of the class.
Rayne who was with Nico and Max turned
immediately.
“Where’s that psycho taking her to?” She gritted.
“Wait! Where are you taking me to?” Snowy
asked as he pulled her with him.
“What’s Pierce doing?” Baby asked and Brielle
clenched her fist, seething in anger.
Starr who was saw everything, immediately
grabbed his bag and dashed out of the class.
“Starr as well.”

“What are we doing here?” Snowy asked as she
stood at the parking lot with him.
“What else? Remember I said, you’re owing me.
It’s time to pay for it. Get in the car.” He said and
began walking to his car.
“I’m not going with you.” She said bluntly and
Pierce scoffed.
“That’s not for you to say. Seems like no one
told you I don’t take no for an answer.” He said
and Snowy just stared at him.
“Get in.” He said and she stood transfixed at a
spot.
Pierce clicked her tongue.
“Wow… I like that.” Then he walked back and
grabbed her hand, and pulled her along but she
didn’t bulge.
He turned only to see Starr holding her other
hand.
“She said she isn’t going with you, so back off.”
Starr said and Pierce glared at him.
Snowy smiled on seeing him there.
