{ RAYNE’S MYSTERIOUS BOYFRIEND }
She blinked repeatedly as if to be sure she wasn’t dreaming and when she was certain she wasn’t, she reciprocated the kiss.
It was a slow and passionate kiss filled with love. Their tongues rolled in each other’s mouth in ecstasy and their soft breath could be felt on each other.
Snowy’s grip on his jacket shirt tighten as her knees were hurting from squatting for long but she didn’t wanna break the kiss. She may never get this opportunity again.
They suddenly began hearing footsteps and they broke the kiss.
They turned to the person who ran there and it was the boy who was been bullied earlier.
“Are you guys okay?” He asked, breathing heavily and snowy and Starr nodded.
“Yeah.” They chorused.
“I actually called the police. Thanks.” He said to Starr who nodded with a light smile.
“You should never keep quiet about this. Fight back or better still, report it.” He said and the boy nodded.
“I will. Thanks once again.” He said.

There was an awkward silence between Starr and Snowy as they walked back to Brittany’s house. They’ve already got the bulb and Starr was the one holding it.
Snowy kept playing with her fingers, not knowing what to say but she needed to say something. She was uncomfortable with the silence.
“I…”
“The…”
She and Starr said simultaneously and they looked at eachother.
“You go first.” Snowy said but Starr shook his.
“No you go first.” He said and Snowy nodded and pressed her lips tightly.
“Urhm… I… Actually…” Snowy drawled, lost of words to say.
She squinted her eyes around, hoping one thing she would see might give her an idea of what to say next.
Her eyes widened when she spotted a barbecue spot.
“Barbecue!” She squealed pointing at the shop. Starr looked at the direction she pointed.
He turned to her.
“Let’s have it. C’mon, hurry!” She said pulling him to the spot before he could say anything.
“Good evening sir.” She greeted as the she got to the man who was grilling the meat.
“Hey, welcome young lady. Please sit, I’ll take your order.” He said and Snowy nodded and pulled Starr to the spot meant customers.
“What’re you doing? We should head back to the sleepover.” Starr informed and she nodded.
“Yeah, but a meat or two won’t hurt right. Been long I ate barbecue outside so just wanted to try it out again today.” She said with a grinned and just immediately, the man came to them.
Snowy told her what she needed and exactly how she wanted it.
Moments later,
“Wow, this tastes good… Ohmigosh…” Snowy MΓ΅@Ι²ed in ecstasy as she ate the meat in relishment.
Starr watched her, tho he also has his on front of him but he hadn’t touched it.
“C’mon, try it. It’s good.” She urged and Starr nodded with a smile.
He noticed her lips had stain by the side and he brought it to her notice.
“What?” Snowy asked and he pointed at her lips.
“You have something there… By the side.” He said and Snowy touched her mouth, pretending to be looking for where he was pointing at.
“Where?” She asked with her round puppy eyes and Starr chuckled softly.
“I’ll do it.” He said and leaned closer, then he wiped the stain off with his thumb and Snowy smiled.
“Thanks.” She muttered as he sat back.
He simply smiled and picked up his cutleries. Snowy continued stark at him with a smile and the moment he looked up at her, she faced her food.
Starr chuckled.
“Urm… About the kiss…”
“Someone said warm kisses and pecks relieves stress. I thought you were kinda stressed out so I was helping out.” Starr cut in her question with a wink and Snowy gasped.
Her eyes remained widened for some seconds and she chuckled as realization struck her.

“We’re back!” Snowy announced as they got into the house but they were met with total silence.
“Huh? Did they all go out?” Snowy asked but was greeted with a handful of snores.
She turned on her flashlights as the lamplight that was turned on was doing nothing in shedding light.
“They’re asleep.” Snowy said and faced Starr.
“Put the bulb, let’s see.” She said and Starr nodded. He fixed the bulb and turned on the light.
They were greeting by sleeping logs scattered in the living room.
“Really, did we take that long?” Snowy asked.
“Guess the sleepover got ruined.” Starr said and shrugged.
“Not all ruined.” She said and held his hand.
“What–“
She was already pulling upstairs, and she didn’t stop till they got to the balcony.
She let go of his hand.
“The star is beautiful today don’t you think?” She asked as she walked to the end of the balcony.
The breeze blowing her hair.
Starr stood beside her.
He looked at the star with her and he shook his head and looked at her. “I think you’re more beautiful.” He said and Snowy looked at him and chuckled shyly, looking at her feet.
Her cheeks had turned completely red, like they were tomatoes.
“Is this you hitting on me right now?” She asked shyly, tucking her hair behind her ear, not looking at him.
Starr bent and looked at her face and she pressed her lips.
“Can’t I?” He asked and she chuckled, covering her face shyly, whilst her legs around the other.
“Angel?” Starr called and she turned around and laughed. She could feel the elated butterflies throwing party in her belly.
“I found a name for you.” He said and Snowy looked at him.
“What’s it?” She asked, with her bug puppy eyes.
“Angel!… You said you were my guardian angel and I thought of it, you really are.” He said and Snowy cheeks flushed.
“Angel?” He called and Snowy covered her mouth. She felt like jumping and screaming, only God knew how much she was holding it all back.
“Stop it.” She mumbled.
“My guardian Angel. Let’s watch the less beautiful Star together.” He said and held Snowy’s hand and she smiled as they faced the stars.
There were a lot in the sky and it was shining so brightly.
Snowy stared at his hand in hers and looked at his face, he had his gaze focused on the sky and she couldn’t help but smile.

<NEXT DAY ** CUPID HIGH SCHOOL>
It was the day for competition and the students were excited. The big hall where the competition was taking place was filled with students. More were still trooping in threes and fours.
Snowy and Aubrey could be seen walking towards the hall with their hands interlocked. They were talking as they walked when suddenly they heard someone called them.
They turned to see Rayne walking to them.
“Are you just coming?” Aubrey asked and she shook her head.
“Nope, I was actually waiting for you guys. Didn’t know you were already here.” She said and faced Snowy.
“And you, where the hell did you runaway to with Starr? We waited for long! I was actually planning on scolding you this morning only to hear you left before I even woke up!” Rayne bawled at Snowy who laughed.
“We could discuss that later. Let’s go in first.” Snowy said.
“Better.” Rayne rolled her eyes and they began walking in when they bumped into Max and Nico who were walking out of the hall.
“What the heck!” Rayne slapped Nico angrily and the rest gasped.
“Are you blind?” She bawled and Nico held his cheeks as he looked at her.
He looked kinda hurt and angry at the same time.
“Calm down Rayne. He’s your brother remember–“
“f-__-k brother! Is he blind!”
“Stop it!” Nico suddenly yelled and everyone flinched.
He grabbed Rayne’s hand and pulled her out of the hall.
“Nico let go of me! Nico! You’re hurting me!” She yelled and Nico pulled her to an empty hallway.
Then he released her hand.
“What was that for?” She asked and Nico huffed, ruffling his hair.
“I should be asking you that instead, what’s all this? I’m having enough of it all.”
“What are you talking about Nico?”
“I’m your boyfriend for crying out loud! Why should we keep acting like that?”
“I already told you Nico. We have to keep it low. They all think you’re my cousin–“
“Which I’m not!”
“Nico…”
“Tell everyone or we break up right away!” He said and Rayne gasped.
