BEN ‘S POV

Oh my heavens! She looks gorgeous in this dress, I quickly said as I stepped out from the bathroom, I watched Josy for few minutes but she didn’t notice because she was actually backing me and truth be told she was simply amazing with the dress perfectly fitting her.
She turned to me and smiled… Thanks she
muttered
I’m not the cream type so I hurriedly removed the towel around my waist with only my boxers on, just then Josy turned around, I know she wanted to say something but her jaw dropped open as she met my half naked body.
I can sense the tension and her large eyes becoming more larger, she weighed me thoroughly that I was becoming stupefied myself because I was supposed to grab my towel and wrap around my waist but instead I became equally drawn to her looking at her beautiful face and segzy lips, Oh thank goodness for the knock on the door which distracted us from the the “Be like that” motion we were in
Quickly pull something over why I get the door she said inaudibly so that Whosoever that’s at the door won’t hear.
I quickly pulled on my trouser and was scanning through my wardrobe to find an appropriate shirt to hang on.
From the sound of the laughter I know that is Emma and UC.
What’s up man, Emma greeted as we both shook hands and hug each other.. I’m cool, he was smiling with mischievous looks in his face, I know exactly what he meant but I simply ignored him and continued with the search of something to wear

Josy’s Pov

I was really happy seeing my bestie came in her eyes was really sparkling as we hugged each other
How was your night UC said almost in a whisper.
It was fine I replied her avoiding her eye..
So tell me, what happened UC said holding my hands
This girl won’t ever change, I said smiling inwardly because that’s a very tricky question she asked and I’m shy to tell her anything so that the guys won’t hear a thing… I quickly look for distraction and gladly I found one….. I saw a beautiful golden ring with diamond in the middle, Emma must have engaged her last night I thought.
Oops!! UC…. This is beautiful… Oh my God! I exclaimed audibly enough attracting the guys.
She smiled and hugged me… I’m sorry sis that you was not there to witness my engagement UC said.
She knows that I’m not happy because that was not how we planed it all, and I’m a kinda hurt that….. She cut through my thoughts again..
I tried calling you after my engagement but network was freaking bad, UC said still holding me.
Is okay sis, I’m happy for you I said smiling at her.

Emma, so you engaged your wife to be without informing me, Ben said frowning badly at his friend
Eem.. mm I’m sorry dude, Emma said scratching his head, when Ben didn’t reply him he immediately know that BEN wants to hear his excuses for not inviting him to his engagement
Emma inhaled deeply and exhaled…. It wasn’t intentional, I wanted to do it in a big way like I. told you already but the atmosphere last night was heart robbing and daring.
The rain the whether and every thing, so since I have the ring already I just decided to go ahead cux I can’t hold back myself from, Emma gasped out
Ben was already feeling relax because I can see Smile forming in his lips
And you can’t believe that this mad man here engaged me under the rain making us to soak wet, UC added and we all burst into laughter.
After the laughter subsided, I smiled and hugged UC again telling her that her engagement was so romantic., She hugged me even more tighter as she couldn’t stop giggling. I looked over her shoulder and also see sweetheart hugging her friend and smiling heartily for him

As I hugged Emma, I was very happy for him and I looked over his shoulder and see Josy my pretty jewel hugging her friend with a beautiful smile on her face.
I was so drawned to her and I felt my heart yelling out to her, I want to grow old with this beautiful woman so I quickly remembered the ring I bought for her, I saw the ring in jewelry shop when I went to buy watch and the image of Josy appeared before me smiling happily as she looks at the ring Then I bought the ring that day even though she haven’t accepted my proposal yet
In my heart, I’m deeply convinced that she will one day. I quickly disengaged from Emma and went to the drawer where I put the ring I brought it out and knelt with one leg before my love.
At first I was a kinda scared and shaky but Emma’s constant applause gave me the vibes that I needed.
I began…..
As there’s already so much love jubilation in the air, though I didn’t plan it this way but I can’t hold back my self. Please Josy I wanna grow old with you and watch my unborn children call you their mother…. Please go through this journey of infinity with me.
Please marry me.
I blurted out.
I can feel total silence as Josy stood with expressionless face looking at me like I’m a psycho lunatic.

JOSY’S POV

This came a little bit sudden to me, I was taken aback by this and was dumbstruck at his sudden outburst.
I was yelling yes! Yes! Yes! within me as tears of joy clouded my eyes looking at myself internally but yet externally I wasn’t sure what to say.
I looked at UC whose eyes were closed as her hands clapped together as if she was making a desperate request to God to make me say yes
Emma on the other hand was nodding his head as his eyes pleadfully ask me not to turn his friends request and shatter his dream.
And oh my Benny! I can’t stop admiring his handsome face and his well built and strong arm outstretched to me with a little black box of diamond ring.
Looking at his eyes it was simply saying
Josy if you say no I will die,i swear I will ki|| myself if you reject me.
I looked away as I gently raised my head trying to withhold the tears that has insisted on coming out…… Every thing was in a standstill and the only noise is my inward self yelling with happiness….. All in SUSPENSE.
