Having good friends that support however they can is better than being rich.
Ever since Ihuoma showed up, my sl-tty habits have ceased abruptly, it was like her appearance was a blessing in disguise. We’ve been keeping in touch frequently and most of the time, we hang out and go to places. We always go shopping, saunas and saloons together ; It’s been really fun and I have to say that I’ve never been so relieved in my life. As surprising as this may be, I haven’t gotten a call from that b-stard Danny. In fact, I haven’t seen the guy for a while now and I prayed that he never shows up. Even Margaret and Bianca, I haven’t gotten in touch with them and whenever they tried to ask me out, I would lie that I’m busy or I’ve been visited by my relatives.
Despite this change of course, things haven’t been great for me personally especially when it comes to matters of s£x. Odili was still the same as ever and the worst part is that he barely sleeps on the bed anymore. It’s either he sleeps on the couch or sleeps in the guest room doing God knows what. Annabelle ➡ Look Ihuoma, you know how tough it was back in the day, I could barely pay my tuition until the last minute. My parents have sweat and toil for me to make my life better and I can’t afford to disappoint them. Staying in this marriage is the only thing I can do to make them happy.

Ihuoma ➡ So while they enjoy their lives, you suffer in silence?? This isn’t right.

Ihuoma ➡ Set your parents straight. Let them understand that your happiness and life counts.

Annabelle ➡ I’ll try.

Ihuoma ➡ (sighs) You can’t keep going like this. There are eyes everywhere. A woman’s image is easily tainted and so’s her reputation. It’s a scar that will remain permanent forever. Make changes before its too late.

Even after so many years, I’ve always remembered Ihuoma’s words and I’m glad to have a friend like her but it’s a shame I didn’t heed to her words at first cause at the time, change wasn’t something I was ready to accept just yet.
Ihuoma stayed for a while before leaving the house, she said something about having a special date with her husband and shortly after she left ; Margaret and Bianca showed up in my house. I totally wasn’t looking forward to their visit cause I wanted to lay back and get some sleep but since they are here, it would be rude to kick them out.
