“Actually… He’s huh…My cousin’s friend” Blaze replied in a second. He looked bold.
“Oh! No wonder he looked familiar, He was that guy you help when he swallowed a thick whole hot dog…So, Its was actually Sam after all?” Brad said nodding in surprise.
“You replied?” Newton scoffed as he walked to the couch. He slowly sat down and turned to face Blaze.
“What? I thought you were waiting for my answer?” Blaze muttered
“My question is weird and you know that,, Sam is a guy and he behaved as if he was a girl… You shouldn’t have answered me”
“What? So… Why did you ask in the first place!!”
“It was a joke, A stupid one…. It’s nice to see your cousin’s friend though”
“Must you joke about everything?…Huh?”
“About what you said about my parents–Newton changed the topic, He smacked his lip loudly and faced the ceiling. “I’m going to let that go, But I’m still gonna wait till you take your words back and apologize”
“Don’t expect that–
“I thought you were cooking something? Perhaps…It must have gotten burnt by now?” Newton cut in smoothly. Blaze smirked and went to the kitchen hurriedly but in a stylish manner.
“Hey! Bro, You should stop joking already, I took it serious but Sam took it more serious!” Brad said as he moved to Newton.
Newton smiled and pushed his gaze to Samantha. She stood there motionless and speechless. Suddenly, Samantha raised her eyes to Newton which shocked him. Her eyes were filled with rage. She literally had flames of red fire coming out of them. It sent shivers down his spine.
“Hey? Is Sam always this scary?” Newton asked Brad in a whisper while he recovered from the shock.
“You are so dead” Samantha thought biting her bottom lip hard.
She began to walk closer to which began to scare him.
“Hey? What’s he doing? Why the heck is he coming close to me? Huh… He looks scary though” Newton whispered grabbing Brad’s shirt.
“I’m sure he’s furious… I’m gonna leave you alone to sort things out” Brad laughed and left.
“Hey? Hey? Don’t leave me” Newton whispered as he kept whistling while he watched Brad enter the door leading to the kitchen. Newton swallowed hard and faced Samantha who was now facing him eye to eye. The way she looked at him was terrifying. If eyes were for archery, It would have sent thousands of flying arrows to his chest.
“Hey? Stop staring at me that way” Newton whispered weirdly as he scratched his throat looking away.
“Take it back” She simply commented.Newton bent his eye brows in thought and faced Samantha.
“What? Take what back?” He asked puzzled
“You removed One point earlier just because I touched you and it was because of your stupid joke,So,….Take it back”
“I was’nt actually joking when I got pissed at you”
“What? What do you mean?”
“Just know this, You’ve got 8 points and I don’t care to know if it’s my fault or not, I hope you heard my latest rule…. Rule Number Five, Do not touch me”
“No, What did you mean by your previous statement?” Samantha asked bending her gaze while she shaked her head.
“What? Oh… When I said I wasn’t joking when I got pissed at you?”
Samantha nodded.
“Yeah… I’m correct, I might be joking but when your hands touched me, I became furious!–He paused and looked at both sides, stood up, walked closer to her and stared into her eyes Do you wanna know why?…. It’s because you annoy me, I h@ťě seeing you around, Don’t try to get closer to me because you are just gonna get pushed into the gutter? You got that, Dude?” He whispered. Samantha looked back at him with her eye balls now soaked with tears.
“Horrible jerk” She whispered back to him feeling her voice changing all of the sudden due to the tears piling up in her eyes.
“What?” He asked
“Just watch… I’m not going to leave here… You wanna know why?– Samantha asked moving closer to him.
“Huh? Wh…Wha–What?” He stammered as he took few steps back.
“It’s because I’ve a treasure I wanna keep seeing and really want to have for my self, and also… I wanna escape the harsh reality from the outside world”
