Myles began to kiss Newton smoothly until her phone ringtone jolted her. She paused and looked at Newton who was all over her now.
“Sorry babe but I got to take this”
Newton nodded and Myles smiled. She opened her purse and unzipped it. She brought her phone out and looked at the screen. She blinked her eyes and her mood seemed to change. She bit her lips hard and stared at Newton.
“Won’t you pick that?” Newton asked
“Babe” She said trying to change the subject
“What?” Newton replied with a smile
“I suddenly remembered”
“Huh? Remembered what?”
“I had stomach upset when I was coming over but I ignored it, Now… I know what’s really going on”
“Tell me, Myles… What’s it?”
“I think I’m seeing my period now… I don’t want to be messed up–
Newton quickly raised Myles off his laps and stood up looking nervous and confused.
“What?” He asked trying to get things clear
“I’m serious…. Can you just help me get a sanitary pad outside? Huh babe? Please, Help me… I wouldn’t want to get messed up” She pleaded
“Huh? Okay then but you know… I’m a celebrity, What if someone sees–
“Ssshhs, Myles cut in with a soft whisper as she placed her finger on his lips
No one will…. Just wear a mask and cap, Then, you are good to go”
“Alright, I will.. But it’s because it’s you though, Wait here then”Newton said as he took his mask and cap. He also took some cash and went outside. Myles sighed in relief as she watched him leave.
She called the previous caller and it got picked up immediately.
☎ Hello? Myles stormed
☎ Hello? The soft voice replied
☎ Why are you even calling me now? You promised you wouldn’t… It’s your fault you know! Myles shouted as she scattered her hair in frustration. There was a laugh at the end of the phone.
☎ What? Are you laughing now? You think everything is all about jokes, huh? Myles asked with rage in her eyes
☎ Well… If it isn’t our scaredy cat?, Anyways… Nothing will happen to you, I just called to ask if you got the car abolished
☎ Yeah… I already did but hope they won’t ask questions, huh?
☎ They won’t, Trust me… You know all fingers points to you… Just never let your guard down.
☎ Okay then… I’m hanging up, Also… Don’t let us meet till the matter dies down Myles finally said as she hung the call.
She sighed deeply and slowly sat down. She began thinking and became very nervous.
“I hope nothing happens” She whispered as she bit her finger nails.

“Oh… I see, You came here to get it for your girlfriend, You are really romantic you know?” Samantha teased smiling. She looked at Newton who just looked at her keeping a stern straight face.
“Hey, Don’t you ever smile?” Samantha asked scratching her head awkwardly
“I’m just regretting why I just explained that to you, Anyways… I didn’t want you to see me as a pervert” Newton replied trying to wear the mask back on his face.
“Well…. Uhh, You are still looking for a House keeper right?” Samantha asked
Newton turned to her. “Why? Are you now interested?”
Samantha nodded childishly. “Yes, I am… It’s still vacant right?”
“Yeah” Newton replied
“Then, Can I start tomorrow?” Samantha asked
“That’s your business, anytime you are ready” Newton replied
“You are really cold though”
“What?”
“No, I mean “Nice”…. You are very nice” Samantha smiled. Newton stared at her and sighed.
“I’m going to come tomorrow then, Expect me by 2pm”
Newton nodded and began to leave. “Goodbye, See you tomorrow! And thank you!” Samantha shouted with a smile on her face as she waved cheerfully. Newton didn’t bother to look back. He just left her with uttering any word.
“He’s really cold, I hope I’ll be able to understand him” Samantha thought as she folded her lips.
