CHAPTER 21 & 22•••••••
Luciano was seated on his bed, deep in thought as he smoked from a stick of cigar, there was a slight knock on
the door, seeing that he didn’t respond, the person pushed the door open and Rissa came into view.
She strode to where Luciano was and bowed her head,
“Boss….please help me out… ” Rissa uttered, lowly and sniffed.
Luciano raised his head up, he gazed at her coldly,
“What do you want Rissa? ” Luciano asked, dryly.
Rissa swallowed and took her gaze to his phone which was on the bed,
“I….i want to call my mom but I don’t have a phone for now, I misplaced it.
The squad refused to lend me theirs, please can I use yours…? my mom is really sick and I need to know how she’s faring ” Rissa uttered, tearfully.
Luciano scoffed, he took his phone and handed it over to her,
“When you’re done keep the phone and leave ” Luciano muttered, coldly. Stood up and strode towards the bathroom.
Rissa let out a Ç0çƙy smile as she wiped her fake tears,
“I’m such an actress ha! ” She mumbled, lowly and chuckled coldly.
She scrolled through his contact and stopped at a particular number, she sent a text message to the number and waited for a while before deleting the text message.
She dropped the phone back on the bed and feigned tears,
“Boss, my mom isn’t picking up! I’ll just leave…thanks ” Rissa uttered, loudly. She sniffled and strode towards the door.
“If I Rissa can’t have Luciano then no one else can” Rissa muttered, Venomously and left the room.

The next day, everywhere was on fire, Luciano paced to and fro in the sitting room, all his men were on their knees.
“Where the f_ck is Scorpion?!!” Luciano asked, angrily.
“Boss we have no idea, he went out yesterday and he’s still not back ” One of Luciano’s men uttered.
Luciano roared and his fist met with the wooden table, hard. He had woke up this morning to see a message from an unknown source telling him that
he’s with Emily and if he wants to know where they kept Emily, he should come to a location which was noted down.
It was very late yesterday when she had left his place, if he had known, he wouldn’t have allowed her to go alone….what if they hurt her?
Luciano thought and ran his fingers through his black silky hair.
Luciano’s gaze met with Rissa’s gaze mistakenly and she averted her gaze, nervously.
Luciano gazed at her for a while and averted his gaze, he turned to a man who was seated on a stool as he typed away on his laptop.
“How tight is their security? ” Luciano asked, seriously.
The man chewed on his gum and pursed his lips
“They have about fifty armed men who are outside the building and fifty more inside the building. If we are going
there, we must be loaded and armed than them” The man uttered and clicked his tongue.
Luciano’s eyes darkened and he clenched
his fist tight, whoever did this just messed with the wrong person!
“Blade…where did they keep Emily? ” Luciano asked, icily.
The man known as blade purse his lips and typed madly on his laptop,
“She’s inside a room, upstairs…. ” Blade retorted, seriously.
Luciano turned, facing his men with a cold look,
“Get up and get the cars and weapons ready!! ” Luciano roared and they all stood up and echoed a loud,
“YES BOSS!! ” They all roared and left.

Meanwhile, in Emily’s room, Andrea paced to and fro, she ran her fingers through her ginger red hair,
She had gone to pick Emily up yesterday night but couldn’t find her there, she called Emily’s but it wasn’t going through. She was so worried that she couldn’t even sleep.
This morning she still went to look for Emily but could only see her phone which was by the road side.
She had just finished reading the message in which Luciano had sent to Emily.
“Is Luciano with her or he kidnapped her? ” Andrea mumbled and clenched her fist tight.
She strode towards the window and jumped out.
Soon she got to luciano’s residence and forcefully pushed one of the bulky huge men aside.
“Get the f_ck outta ma sight! where the f_ck is your boss?! ” Andrea yelled and started throwing punches at Luciano’s men, she fought with them like an angry lion.
One of Luciano’s men pointed his gun at Andrea and was about to pull the trigger,
“That’s enough! ” Luciano ordered, coldly.
They all quickly went back to their pose.
Andrea strode to where Luciano stood with a challenging look.
“Luciano Khan Pavarotti….where are you hiding Emily? ” Andrea asked, coldly.
Luciano smirked, this Ɓîtçh got some nerves to call his three names.
“You’re Eduardo’s woman…so what are you doing in my territory? ” Luciano asked, dryly.
Andrea pursed her lips, almost falling for his beauty.
“Emily is a friend of mine…she was on
her way to see you. What did you said to her last night because when I called her on phone…it felt like she was crying.. ” Andrea retorted.
“Something in which am…regretting now… ” Luciano muttered under his breathe.
“Look if you’re hiding her just tell me because I went through her text messages and saw that you texted her
to follow your driver so he would take her home!” Andrea snapped and Luciano gazed at her, confused.
Luciano gave it a thought and remembered when Rissa had asked him for his phone saying she wanted to talk to her mom…
Such a lying Ɓîtçh!
He brought out his phone and scrolled through his call log, he didn’t see any unknown number, he checked his messages and couldn’t see anything.
That means after sending it, she deleted the message immediately.
Luciano’s eyes darkened and his jaw clenched,
“Jace where’s Rissa? ” Luciano asked one of his men coldly.
“Boss she had packed up some of her things saying she wanted to go see her mom” Jace uttered, seriously.
Luciano smirked and got into his car,
“Stay behind, me and my men will hit the
road” Luciano said to Andrea and she frowned.
“No! Who the f_ck kidnapped Emily?! I wanna come along too! ” Andrea snapped, hotly.
Luciano ignored her, he roared the engine to life and drove off out of the vicinity, his men followed behind.
Andrea screeched, angrily. She turned and saw blade gazing at her as he let out a subtle laughter.
She marched to where he was and pulled his ear,
“Where the f_ck is Emily?! where is Luciano heading to?! ” Andrew asked, sharply.
Blade groaned and tried to punch her but she overpowered him and pushed him down to the floor and sat down on top him,
“Take me to them right now!!! ” Andrea roared and blade hissed in pain.
“Fine… ” Blade muttered, tiredly.
Some of Luciano’s men which were still around, chuckled at Andrea’s craziness.

Somewhere on the road, Rissa drove madly, her heart in her throat. If Luciano gets his hands on her then she’s good as dead.
Suddenly, another car drove beside her own car almost screeching hers, the driver whined down the tinted glass,
Rissa gasped when she saw that it was one of Luciano’s men. She almost left the steering wheel due to shock.
The man let out a Ç0çƙy smile, he slammed his own car on hers, thrice. Her car came to a halt with a loud screeching sound.
“Ahh!!! ” Rissa screamed in pain. She touched her forehead and saw blood…her vision blurred and she lost consciousness.

Emily’s eyes snapped open and she gazed around her surrounding,
windows….chairs… Stools…tables with different weapons on it. She hissed in pain when she felt her head ached badly.
She tried to stand up but couldn’t because her hands and legs were tied.
“Whoah! our sleeping beauty is finally awake! segzy Bonita!”
Emily flinched when she heard a husky voice behind her, she turned and saw Mattias seated on a couch, a glass of red wine in his hand as he sipped from it, gently.
He stood up and took long strides towards her,
“W…What do you want with me? ” Emily stuttered, fearfully.
Mattias ignored her and bent down, he gripped her hair tight, pulling her head up.
“It’s feels so good to have the almighty Mafia lord’s woman! Your mafia lord isn’t here yet haha! He might be worried sick about you! ” Mattias uttered, Ç0çƙily and smirked.
Emily gave him a confused glare.
“Oops! looks like I just spilled out a hidden truth! Haha! He didn’t tell you?
Oh! Poor Emily, that means he’s just using you. He only wants to f_ck you and dump you someday! ” Mattias retorted and let out a hilarious laughter.
Emily thought about it and her shoulders fell, she felt her heart sank….Luciano is a mafia lord?! Then why didn’t he tell her all this while? why did he hid it from her?
Emily thought and felt her heart shattered into pieces.
It’s true….he didn’t tell her because he never did loved her.
Mattias gripped Emily’s neck tight and squeezed it, the door swung open and who Emily lease expected to see came into view,
“Boss our source just gave us information, Luciano is on his way here ” Scorpion reported and took his gaze to Emily,
they held each others gaze for a while until Scorpion averted his gaze, he left the room and shut the door with a loud bang.
Mattias pulled Emily towards the window, he made her to sit on the window, her back facing him that he can easily pushed her down.
Emily sobbed as she gazed down, the height….the buildings…she couldn’t stand it because fear was eating her up… One push and she’s already gone.
Emily’s legs shook.
Mattias gripped her hair, tight.
“Now let me tell you, Luciano is a mafia boss, a mafia lord! He’s a criminal and a thief who steals from people! he stole my $h|t! my deals! my
packages and now he wants to live a peaceful life? well it’s not possible, life doesn’t work that way! ” Mattias roared and began to laugh like a maniac.
Emily shut her eyes as tears rolled down her cheek, her lips trembled.
“f_cking show your face Luciano Khan Pavarotti!!!! Show your f_cking face!!” Mattias screamed crazily.
The door swung open and Luciano strode in, his two hands behind his back and his face cold and expressionless.
“Whooshh! Finally the great mafia king is here! this is where you embrace death haha!! ” Mattias uttered and began to laugh like a mad man.
Luciano let out a dry chuckle,
“All your men are dead and you’re the only one remaining inside this building right now” Luciano uttered, lazily.
Mattias eyes widened and he glanced around, fearfully.
“I don’t f_cking care!! Am going to ki|| her after all she means nothing to you!!” Mattias yelled and pointed a gun at Emily’s head.
“It’s either I blow up her f_cking head or push her down, simple. Wow the height is really scary! ” Mattias retorted, sarcastically and chuckled.
“Let her go and face me ” Luciano stated, coldly.
“f_ck you! the both of you are going down together! Oh! you never did told her that you’re a mafia boss how shocking hahaha!!! ” Mattias uttered and began to laugh, sarcastically.
Luciano clenched his fist tight and in a swift moment, a knife flew from nowhere and pierced Mattias in his shoulder,
“Ah! f_ck!!” Mattias groaned in pain and let go of Emily as he staggered because of the pain.
Luciano rushed to where he was and started punching him continuously.
Mattias kicked Luciano on his abdomen,
Luciano didn’t even flinch, Mattias quickly dashed to the window and pushed Emily,
Emily felt her heart left her,
“Ahh!! ” Emily yelped fearfully.
Luciano swiftly pushed Mattias out the way and gripped Emily’s hand tight, he brought out a gun and shot at Mattias who was about to open the door trying to run away.
Mattias shrieked in pain holding his bleeding leg, he fell on the floor.
Luciano pulled Emily up and her feet touched the floor, he untied her legs and hands.
“Emily are you okay? ” Luciano asked worriedly, he touched her cheek, her neck and pulled her into a hug.
“Gosh…am so glad you’re okay” Luciano muttered, worriedly and rocked her back as Emily sobbed.
“It’s alright…you’re okay now” Luciano mumbled.
Since Emily was facing the door, she froze when she saw Scorpion at the doorway, he pointed his gun at Luciano, his eyes cold and emotionless.
Emily pursed her lips and more tears rolled down her cheek…
“Lu…Luciano….” She tried to talk but her voice only came out as a whisper.
It felt like she had lost her voice due to fear.
Her eyes widened when he pulled the
trigger and without thinking, she
disengaged the hug and blocked him and the bullet hit her.
Luciano’s eyes widened,
“Emily no!! “……..
