CHAPTER 41
Avery Nelson
I woke up with the sun shining directly at my face.
I tried to move but I couldn’t, I tried again but couldn’t.
I turned around and I saw that Mason was holding me around my waist.
I smiled as I kissed his forehead. I looked over Hannah’s bed but it was empty.
“Where could she be?”.
I bet she’ll be with Westley.
I quietly removed myself from Mason’s hold around my waist not waking him up because I really wanted to pee.
Immediately I opened the bathroom door and a scream let out of my mouth.
It was Hannah and she looked pale .
Her eyes were closed as she was inside the bathtub filled with water.
“Avery what’s it?” I heard Mason’s sleepy voice.
I rushed inside as I started to tap her.
“Hannah”
“Hannah please wake up”.
“Ohh my God what the hell happened to her” Mason said.
“Please help me Mason”.
He quickly carried her and rushed outside.
I followed him as he entered his car and drove to a hospital.
I was grateful that there was a hospital in this camp.
I stared at Hannah’s unconscious body , she looked pretty pale and her lips were no longer pink but dry.
Immediately we reached the hospital mason carried Hannah in a bridal style and rushed her inside
Quickly the doctor took her from Mason as they entered a room and we weren’t allowed to enter.
I started to cry hoping Hannah would be okay.
But mason pulled me into a hug as he started rubbing my back whispering some comforting words to me.
Slowly I calmed down as I just relaxed in his embrace.

WESTLEY
I h@ťěd myself for what I did to Hannah.
I came back home not wanting to talk to anyone as I cried all night.
I regretted what I told her when I felt the opposite.
I love her,I f-__-king do ever since we were in that neighborhood.
I couldn’t sleep throughout the night but I received a call from Mason.
I didn’t want to pick but then I remembered I didn’t see him in his room throughout the night.
“Hey man”
“Westley you’ve got to come to the hospital right now”.
My heart started to beat fast hoping it’s not what I think.
“Why”
“It’s Hannah”
That’s all I needed to hear as I rushed out of my room with my pajamas.
I didn’t answer Roy. They were calling me as I rushed into my car.
I reached the hospital and saw Mason waiting outside.
“What happened to you bro you look like a dead person”.
I just ignored him
“Where’s Hannah”
“Follow me”.
I followed mason as he began to talk
“Avery found Hannah unconscious in the bathtub filled with water this morning”.
I stopped my track immediately.
“What”
“I brought her here”.
“The doctor said she’s been there for more than 12 hours. But thank God we brought her because if she stayed another one hour there she may have lost her life”.
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It’s all my fault.
I shouldn’t have said those things to her last night.
I started to cry as Mason came to hug me.
“It’s okay man , it’s not your fault”.
I shaked my head “yes it’s mine Mason, I caused it”.
I began to tell him what happened last night.
He stared at me in shock.
“Why did you do that Westley ”
Before I could reply I saw Avery who was looking at me in shock and anger.
She walked up to me and slapped me hard on my face.
I really deserve it.
“How could you Westley? You of all people”.
“Get out”
“Get out”.
I really do deserve it .
I walked out of the hospital but Mason came after me.
“Dude I can talk to Avery she…..
“Don’t worry, I don’t deserve to be here. Please can you watch her for me”.
With that I drove out of there.
Immediately I reached home and stepped inside.
Roy and Oliver rushed to me and I couldn’t help but cry as I told them everything.
“I always knew you loved her,” Roy said.
“Why did you do that, Westley?” Oliver said but I cried more.
We stayed like that before I finally got up and went to my room.

MASON
I felt bad for Westley, so I confronted Avery and took her home to change.
I stayed with her all throughout.
But that’s when I received a call from my mom.
“Why is she calling me?”.
“Hello mom”
“Ariana is sick, have you gone to see her?”.
Sick, I didn’t even know.
“Ye…yeah I’m on my way there”.
“Good , and don’t mess this up because you both are getting married soon”.
I didn’t say anything.
“Can’t you ask how I’m doing?” I couldn’t help but ask.
“Ohh yes, yes, Clara set me a meeting right now”.
“What did you say Mason?”.
“Nothing mom”.
“Okay bye”
With that she cut off the call.
I sighed before dialing up Ariana’s phone number.
But she wasn’t picking.
I guess I’ll have to see her.
But that will be tomorrow.
I stayed with Avery and begged her to get some sleep.
She eventually did as I watched her sleep.
Then I got home to change and take my bath.
After I was done I met Westley, Roy and Oliver sitting on the couch
I eventually sat with them.
There was silence for a while before I broke the news to them.
“I broke up with Ariana”.
“You did what” the three of them said together.
“I broke up with her last night because I love Avery”.
I was waiting for Oliver’s response but he just smiled.
“I feel so sad because I knew she loved me. I actually played with her feelings.”
“The girl I like doesn’t feel the same but loves someone else” Oliver said.
“While I rejected the girl I love while I love her” Westley said.
I sighed.
“While I still remain the playboy who I haven’t fallen in love with yet , I’m the one who breaks their heart, not then breaking mine”.
He said laughing.
“Let’s all play games,” he said.
“No” Westley, Oliver and I said together.
“Watch anime”.
“No”.
“Let’s…..
“Not now Roy “.
“f-__-k you all” he said going upstairs

TYLER
I stared at my phone at the picture of Avery.
I’m madly in love with this girl.
She has to be mine and I h@ťěd the fact that she’s in love with Mason.
But somehow when I hugged Ariana last night I felt a weird feeling in my stomach.
Speaking of her.
I dialed her number but it wasn’t going.
“Is she okay?”
“I wonder how she’s doing after what happened”.
Without thinking straight I ordered an Uber to her Mansion.
After what seems like ages I was standing in front of her Mansion.
“What are you doing here?”.
“I’m here to see Ariana”.
But they all laughed at me like I was crazy.
“You’re just some crazy fan. You are not supposed to be here but on the street”.
“Tell her it’s Tyler that’s here”.
They gave me a weird look before going inside.
Minutes later I saw Ariana going out looking weak and she stared at me in shock.
“Open the gate for him”.
Immediately the gate was opened I rushed to her and pulled her into a hug.
I don’t know why but just seeing her puts my heart at rest.
“You okay”.
