Dad?! Jade screamed when she noticed her father was dead.
Zelda quickly helped Emelia and with the help of Hadrian, she carried her into the palace to the physician.
Prepare to meet your ancestors if you dare loose her, she thr_@tened the male physician who nodded then rushed to Emelia.
Zelda placed her hand on Emelia’s tommy….. she’s regained little energy, save her at all cost.

Zelda nodded and rushed out.
Get guards to protect her, she can’t die, She ordered Hadrian then ran off again.
The only person standing from Lancelot’s side was Jade.
Saraphina was neither on Jades side nor was she interested in what Peyton did with the throne.
So this is it? Jade asked wiping the tears in her eyes.
Peyton ignored her and proceeded to pull Wyatt towards them.
Where are you taking that to?
Did you open up the grave of a man who died centuries ago?! The Elf leader questioned.

ki|| him and bring his head to me, she ordered and Wyatt started to move, towards King Wright whose icy demeanor was completely cracked open at the sight of his brother.
Zelda ran out of the palace down to Wyatt’s castle.
Wyatt?!
Wyatt?! She kept screaming searching frantically for him but he wasn’t there.
His castle was without life.
Where did you go? She asked wiping the sweat on her forehead in frustration.
I hope its not what I’m thinking, I just hope it isn’t, Zelda kept muttering as she ran to the back of the castle room where she was told Wyatts grave is.
There the horse was, bound to a tree.
Oh thank God, she exclaimed running to him.
It doesn’t matter if Wyatt’s soul was still in the horse or not, she still liked him with or without a soul.
Hey… What are you doing here? She asked as she untied him from the tree.
Were you trying to stop her? She asked again brushing his furs with a smile but she didn’t get a response.
Do you wanna go out there with me? I’m sure Wright needs you right now, Zelda said again.
“Get in” She heard.
Wyatt? She called desperately hoping it was him who just spoke.
The horse glared at her.
Oh… I’m sorry, I’m getting in… thank you so much Wyatt! She said in excitement as she mounted his back and he sped off.

Who.. hoooo! Zelda screamed in excitement as the horse rode her down to where the others were.
They heard her scream from afar and everybody started looking around.
They didn’t know what the sound was.
Was she in trouble or was she excited? They wondered.
Peyton frowned at the distraction because Wyatt stood without doing anything when he heard the scream.
Wyatt? What are you waiting for? ki|| him! Peyton ordered and Wyatt lifted the blade again..
Have you tried talking to your resurrected mate? King Wright asked smiling with only his left cheek curved.
He was trying to buy time for Zelda to arrive with Wyatt.
What do you mean? Peyton asked with an eye roll.
I mean have you tried to see if your mate can talk? Smile? Frown? Does he even know who he is? He asked and Peyton paused to think.
Ofcourse… how is that your business when you will be dying soon? She asked rudely.

He’s still with us! Zelda screamed from afar.
What’s she blabbering about? Saraphina asked coming out to the front so she can see Zelda who was already close.
The horse again? One of the maids mutteted to herself as the horse rode down with Zelda bouncing happily on his back.

Wyatt is still here! Zelda said in excitement pointing at the horse when the horse stopped in front of King Wright.
Is she crazy? Saraphina questioned.
King Wright smiled broadly for first time since the last few hours, he bent and touched the horses forehead fondly and the horse leaned in, shutting his eyes.
He was so worried when all he could hear from his castle was sound of war while he was tied up by Peyton when he tried to stop her from touching his body.
Zelda smiled and joined them as she laid on the horse like a child making everyone wonder what was wrong with them.
Its understandable if Zelda is insane but what about their King?
Why are they behaving like they just found their missing child.
Saraphina watched them as she tried to put everything together.
She was the first to understand what was going on.
Peyton? She called and Peyton looked at her.
That’s your mate, the horse is Wyatt… you brought in a mere body, she whispered and both King Wright and Zelda smirked.
Its nice to meet you… Wyatt, Zelda said referring to the body that was standing with no movement.
She was grinning from ear to ear, Peyton’s blood seemed to have dried up as she looked white.
Jade who has been beside her dead father crying, got up.
Is it true that your King is lifeless? Jade asked with an evil grin as she walked up to Wyatt (The body)
She folded her fist in a ball.
Don’t touch him, Peyton screamed but it was too late, Jade already punched the body and it fell on the floor making cracking sounds.
No! Peyton screamed sitting on the floor.
Before Jade could speak again, a heavy slap landed on her cheek.
King Wright was standing before her looking enraged, Who told you that you can disrespect my brothers body! He growled at her as she held her cheek bursting into tears.
Zelda sat on the horse, grining.
It wasn’t of excitement.
She was enraged.
She sucked on her teeth as she glanced at August who’s fist was balled and his face as hard asf.
He was staring at Ricardo on the floor.
Take her, King Wright ordered the guards grabbed Jade who tried protesting but she wasn’t physically strong.
Wyatt? Peyton muttered clutching her chest.
Is her mates soul really in the horse she has despised all through the years?
Was all her effects to bring him back in vain because he has been with her all through but she couldn’t even tell?
You thought bringing him back will clear up your guilt of letting him die in the hands of your father, he was right before you everyday for years but all you showed him was h@ťě.. your true colours, which you thought you hid the whole time you were married to him.

He still didn’t touch her, he has kept his promise and hasn’t done anything to hurt even a strand of her hair.
The village heads and the villagers started murmuring, some spat i disgust.
For years they all belived the king ki||ed his brother as Peyton has been making her minions spread the news and King Wright has never for once said a word about it.
They thought he was cold without emotions, none of them expected to see him get sentimental while talking about his brother.
Glaring at Peyton one last time, King Wright got up.
Saraphina seeing the turn of events started sneaking off, she didn’t bother when she found out Peyton’s plans because that would mean she would have the freedom and authority to do wh@ťěver she wants if Peyton gets the throne, she didn’t succeed in ki||ing Zelda, Jade has been arrested.
Peyton was sitting and crying her eyes out.
There was no single person left.
She was going to go into hiding till she figures out what to do, slowly she started to leave through the villagers who didn’t notice because of the commotion.
Zelda tore her eyes away from Peyton, she was still sitting on the horse when she saw Saraphina escaping.
Smirking she placd her hands on the back of the horse and jumped on top of it as she pulled out her knife.
Staring at Saraphina’s back, and threw the knife at Saraphina who screamed.
She wasn’t expecting it, she knife dug into her back making her stop but her survival instinct made her continue running, weakly.
My Queen! Queen half screamed when she saw Zelda jump of the horse’s back to everyone’s dismay, she ran in the air.
Landing on Saraphina’s neck, attacking her.
Her thumb and pointer pressing Saraphina’s eyes as she screamed trying to fight her off.
I told you I’ll ki|| you myself, Zelda said using her left arm to choke her.
Saraphina succeeded in pushing her off her but Zelda placed her leg in her way before she could run off again.
Her eyes were hurting that ahe couldn’t open it so she didn’t see Zeldas leg and fell on her face.
Easy tiger, Zelda mocked standing up breathing heavily as she spoke.
She grabbed Saraphina’s clothes by the neck and lifted her up.
How do you want your death? She whispered with a smirk.
You can beg for your life, I might spare you, she added.
f-__-k off! Saraphina cursed and Zelda chuckled straightening her disheveled hair.
You can’t even see me… that’s so sad, Zelda taunted.
ki|| me already, Saraphina said angrily.
Not so fast, how about twenty five years of torture? Zelda asked
Makes sense right? She asked again with a chuckle.
What? Saraphina asked trying to open her eyes.
But a punch landed on her cheek, it was so loud that everyone heard it.
This is for dad, Zelda said punching her again

Saraphina’s mouth and face was filled with blood.
And this, Zelda said opening her right hand, there was fire in her palm.
She hit Saraphina with that same palm and Saraphina’s cloth caught fire
That… is for Zelda and Samara, She said as Saraphina screamed running around like a mad woman trying to get the fire off her body.
To Zelda’s amazement the villagers and elders cheered with smiles of victory on their faces.
Zelda walked back to her mate as they all ignored Saraphina’s cry for help.
She couldn’t see and she couldn’t quench the fires, she was bumping into tress and stones as she struggled.
But Zelda wasn’t going to let her die, she was going to let her struggle till the fire finally goes out then she will have to suffer the pain without treatment, no one was allowed to take her in or treat her.
She patted Wyatt’s back, comforting him, glaring at Peyton for the last time, Wyatt walked back to his castle after nodding at King Wright giving him the permission to do wh@ťěver he wanted with her.
Take her, King Wright ordered and two guards picked her up, she didn’t struggle.
They dragged both she and Jade to their separate prisons.
The kind that restricts their powers.
The battle ended and King Wright and everyone who helped him were visibly grateful for their victory.
The villagers started singing for the newly weds, the song they were supposed to sing if the bride and groom had come out after their wedding for the cerebration.
Zelda smiled when her mate came to her.
I’m super proud of you, he said ruffling her hair.
I’m proud of you too, Wright, she replied, smiling.
He kissed her hair making her blush and the villagers cooed in happiness.
You can’t get to know what’s in a book by judging it by the cover, they had their impressions about him but they realized in few hours how a story told over 900 years ago affected them all, how they all believed a lie all their lives ignoring the truth.
He is a sweet person, we were wrong, One woman said blushing .
Go take a shower, I’ll take care of Wyatt, he told Zelda referring to the body on the floor.
Zelda nodded, the moment she took a step away from her mate, Queen rushed to her, she was going to bow close to her but Zelda engulfed her in a hug.
I’m glad you are safe Queen, She smiling.
Queen stared at the king in fear, but king Wright smiled then bent to pick up his late brothers body.
He knew she was genuine and he knew exactly how much his mate loves her, he wasn’t one to stop such a beautiful moment.
He never had any issue with palace maids and guards relating with royalties, people just assumed it was so because the people in authority made them believe he would punish them when he never gave such a law.
King Wright cautiously picked up his brothers body and carried him carefully.
The villagers and everyone watched his retreating figure as he walked.
He must have really loved his brother, they thought.
Hadrian the chief guard came out and announced to the villagers including the fighters to go clean up and return for the proper celebration.
They all cheered as they left the palace in excitement talking about all that happened on their way.
