CHAPTER FORTY SIX
Kathy (Saraphina) was in her late husbands room, going through his private stuffs.
There were several papers and books scattered on the bare floor as she ransacked the whole area in search of God knows what.
The siren sound outside the gate pulled her out of her thoughts as she stopped moving then stayed quiet to listen again.
She could hear the sound of the gate, as it was opened.
She looked around her, all the things she threw around.
Getting up on her feet quickly, she began grabbing all the papers, as much as she could take at once…. doing that, she couldn’t help but wonder why the police were here without calling her first.
She didn’t seem to remember having any appointment with them.
Why were they in her home again when they should be looking for Blue..
Or have they found Blue? she wondered with a sly smile as she dumped the papers in the waste basket as that was the easiest place.
But they should have called me instead of showing up here unannounced, she sighed.
She had lost connection with Blue since Blue dropped the bracelet.
She couldn’t tell where she was, what she was doing, she couldn’t watch her from her room anymore.
Mrs Corbyn? she heard them call out to her.
The voice sounded so close like whoever was calling her was in front of the door…
Coming….she replied rushing out.
Here, the female cop who came to fetch her announced to let the others know that they have seen her.
After you ma’am, she said the a bow.
Kathy (Saraphina) gazed at her but she wasn’t looking at her.
She had an unreadable expression on her face…
Bloody cop! She groaned, under her breath as she walked to the parlor.
She h@ťěd how limited her power was getting.
She was loosing her powers little by little and that made her angry.
She can’t be Saraphina without her powers.
She can’t ruin Blue without her powers.
Have you found her? Where is she? Where is that bloody ki||er? she ranted immediately she got a glimpse of the cop who has been reporting to her since the incident…
We couldn’t find her, he replied, unlike before, he didn’t look terrified of her.
None of them looked scared of her.
She knew instantly that something was wrong
She didn’t have a graspe on them anymore, she wasn’t in control anymore.
What do you mean you can’t find her? she asked looking into his eyes, to get hold of him again but he looked away.
She hasn’t been spotted since that car drove down to the forest…
What forest?
Why are you here then?
If you bear no good news for me, tell me why you are here?! she yelled pulling his collar.
The man gripped her hands and pulled her roughly off him.
Mrs Kathy Corbyn, he called out pulling out the cuff in his pocket, You are under arrest for the murder of your husband Mr Joe Corbyn, he said placing the cuffs on her hands, you have the right to…. before he could complete his statememt she jerked her hands off, threw the cuff on his face, then dashed into her room.
They chased after her but she got to her staff before they could get to her.
They pointed their guns at her, ordering her to surrender.
Bloody brats! she cursed angrily using her staff to knock the three of them off then she vanished, leaving them unconscious in her room.

Your mother is on her way here, Blue heard King Wright whisper in her head as she slept.
What? She screamed jumping out of her dream into reality…
What’s going on? August asked rushing to her side.
Saraphina, she’s coming, Blue replied panting really hard.
We have to stop her, Oliver said and Arnold nodded.
But how… She is a witch, she has access to this path as much as we do, August replied looking at Oliver.
He knew more than them about the supernatural powers and history.
He hasn’t been to their world before but he is the only one who has managed to communicate with someone from his world though he doesn’t know who it is.
No one knows how or who it is but this person has been of help to him finding out about his true self, this person also knows everything about their journey so far as he tells her everything she needs to know so he can also get to know the next step through her.
He saw them looking at him and he swallowed.
He just informed his brothers about this friend few hours ago and now they are looking at him like hawks expecting him to talk to her again.
I have to talk to her… but… he stopped to look at his queen, waiting for her approval.
Talk to who? Blue asked.
Uhm… Oliver has this… this hum… gift? Or… I don’t know what it is but he can actually communicate with someone from our world from here, she knows everything about our journey, August spilled the beans like he didn’t just find out about fours hours ago.
She? Blue asked and Oliver nodded.
What do you think? Blue mind linked her cat.
Don’t…. was all she got as a response.
Don’t… she blurred out without thinking and they all looked at her…
But she…. Oliver wanted to say but stopped so he wouldn’t get over himself.
She’s his queen after all.
What’s her name? Blue who was confused about why the response was Don’t, had to ask, just so it won’t be like she isn’t in control.
I… I.. she didn’t say…..
Yet you feed her with all informations about our journey? Blue asked with wide eyes.
She’s like us… I think she is trustworthy, Arnold defended his brother.
Saraphina is like us too!
How trust worthy is she? Blue whispered the last part and they all went silent.
Lets keep going, I will sort this out, Blue said looking away from them.
She didnt get why she was pissed.
Maybe because Beiber was pissed too.
Could she feel his emotions? she wondered as they walked in silence.
Oliver was pissed but he dared not say a word…
He felt the queen was being unreasonable.
He’s been getting help from this friend of his for a long time, he didn’t see the reason why the queen had to make a big deal out of it.
I think she’s right though, we don’t even know what that world is like to completely trust just anybody, August said
What do you know? Oliver replied with a hard glare.
What’s that supposed to mean? August asked stopping.
What have you ever known huh?
What else can you do other than draw lifeless people! Oliver growled pushing August’s shoulder.
Why do I feel you are so mad because your stupid ego got bruised for the first time by a twenty five years old female who you are over two hundred years older than?
Does it feel so bad to be wrong? August fired back at him.
Before anyone knew what was happening, a hard punch landed on his cheeks and blood followed afterwards
I am never wrong fool! Oliver growled, he was already close to transforming into a vampire.
Gaining his stance back, August rushed to him, grabbing him by the collar as he gave him a hard head nod.
Oliver growled as he grabbed August by the throat, then lifted him up, he threw him off and August landed hard on the tree.
One can see the blood thirst and hatred in their eyes as August bounced back and rushed to Oliver with speed.
He pounced on him as they both fought like animals.
No one was winning, no one was loosing.
What the hell man!
What are you two grown @zz men on about?! Arnold yelled at both of them as he rushed to pull them away from each other.
But they were to stubborn, none was letting go.
Blue stood, watching them like they were having a show.
Arnold kept trying, but even with his power, he couldn’t separate them.
It was like they were both finally letting out their grudge against each other after so many years.
The beautiful grasses on the ground were ruined by their strong feet.
That’s enough, you both! Blue yelled and just like that they were both separated from each other.
What the f-__-k is wrong with you both?
Gosh, why do I even have to be lead by these two incompetent @$$h0les! she groaned, her hands on her forehead.
August bowed in shame, he didn’t want Blue seeing this part of him, never ever…
He h@ťěd himself for making a fool out of himself and not holding back when Oliver annoyed him.
Has anyone come up with a solution? Blue asked and they bent their head.
Why am I being led by you all then?
Why are we working as a team then?
What’s with the childish act, for Gods sake you are both hundreds of years old!
I’m sorry, your highness,August bowed.
I’m sorry, Your Highness, Arnold and Oliver bowed at the same time.
Blue glared at them for a while then looked away.
They all kept on walking , in silence again.
August walked behind her, not to close, not to far..
She’s here, Arnold announced but Blue didn’t seem startled.
She just layed her feet on this path, with her staff she would get here faster, Oliver added.
Oh no, what do we do? August asked.
Let her come, Blue said and kept on walking.
What? August almost screamed.
If Saraphina gets here, she won’t spare any of them.
With that staff on her hand, they are all dead meat.
She already stepped foot on the supernatural soil, it will make her more powerful, Arnold added.
I’ve never read about weaker vampires, Blue mocked with a straight face.
That breeze blew again, it was so heavy that Blue had to hold on to her gown.
Her eyes shut as she tried to avoid sand getting into her eyes..
When she finally opened it, the three guys were looking scared.
Then she knew instantly, Saraphina was definitely standing behind her.
Slowly, she turned around with an unsure look on her face.
There stood, the woman she grew up with.
Her mother, the witch, smiling evily at her with a hint of victory in her eyes.
