Dad? I called touching his shrinked hands.
He looked…..dead.
I would have thought he was dead if not because I can see his chest and tommy rise and fall.
Hot tears poured out of my eyes as i stared at my dads unbelievably lifeless looking yet living body.
How?
What happened to mom?
Was she possessed or something?
How could she even do this to dad?
Why dad?
What did dad ever do?
Why pin it on Blue?
How does this sound?
Why am I even beliveing all these? I thought rushing out of the room.
I barged into Daphane’s room, she was hugging her pillow in tears.
I didn’t know why she was crying so much?
I’m the one who lost a dad?
Why is she crying more that the bereaved?
How am I sure you are all not pranking me? Where is Blue? Is she in on all these? I asked foolishly.
I know my mom!
She would never do this!
This is all Blues fault! I yelled
She got up angrily, before I knew it a slap landed on my cheek, another one on the same cheek.
She glared with her blood shot eyes not caring about how i feel.
Are you stupid?
Wake up moron, your mother is dead!
That woman is not your mother! she screamed at me as she shook me vigorously.
I stood like a fool, in a daze, the tears in my eyes making my view blurry but i couldn’t blink.
Wale up Mia, that womans name is Saraphina, your birth mother died on the day you were born, she ki||ed your mother and took over her body, She spoke calmly then burst into laughter.

My God! How? she spoke confusing me.

Daphane picked it up akd handed it back toe, mu shaky hamds coydpnt hold ot properly.
I struggled to keep my breath in check, I might just end up dying out of shock.
Another body that i couldn’t identify appeared on the same place dads body left and the fire roasted it.
My hands flew to my mouth after I dropped the tablet of the table.
I woke up that morning to a cat staring at me, Daphane said.
In fright I jumped out of bed but the cat just strolled away.
Like i was jinxed, I followed it.
Your dads body was lying on that bed.
Before i could say anything else,the cat was gone, she added.
I couldn’t speak.
Your dad called my dad the previous day,he soumded scared but he refused to say what happened.
He was the one who told dad about the camera and note he left for Blue in the house.
Thankfully, they were the only thing that was saved in there.
The body you have for autopsy belongs to a random man whose body was found lying on the road side, incase you think they had to ki|| someone, Daphane said like she read my mind, and i sighed deeply.
But…. I was about asking….
How is all these possible right? she asked instead and i just nodded.
She told me how two black men visited their house the same morning to explain everything to them, the cat sent them to us, she said.
They were the ones taking care of your dad before they had to travel with Blue.
At the mention of Blue, guilt washed over me.
I began crying all over again.
I judged her without hearing her own side of the story, she is on the run now because of me, i sniffed.
Its alright, I’m sure she understands, Daphane comforted me.
Where Is she, i have to apologize to her, i begged sincerely.
She is gone, Daphane answered with a sad smile.
What do you mean?
Where is my sister?!
Did she leave the country? I asled startled.
She left this world, Daphna replied, tears gathered In her eyes.
It was like my heart stopped beating.

Stop it! Stop! Stop! I screamed covering my ears with my both hands.
I felt Daphane hug me.
You are joking right? Blue is not dead right? i asked searching her eyes.
She stared at me looking very serious, I almost peed my pants shamelessly.
And for the first time since i walked in here, she burst into laughter.
Stop scaring me, she said with a serious look.
You are the one scaring me, how can you say my sister Is dead, stop playing, I replied with a glare standing up.
Where are you off to? she asled.
To find Blue, she has to be hiding here, somewhere, i said walking to the door.
She’s not here, she said in a calm but serious tone.
Where is she then?
I have to find her.
Now we have evidence, I’m sure the police will leave her alone and catch the real culprit, I said waiting for her to tell me so i can go get her.
I just realized i have wasted weeks of my life hating on my sister over a guy who obviously never said he loves me.
Even Ricardo could tell i was the one forcing things but I just refused to admit it.
I regret all of my actions, I need to find her.
I turned to Daphane, she was staring blankly at me.
Mia? She called and i hummed in response.
Blue isn’t a human like us, she said and i chuckled.
I know she’s strong and all that, i know she can take care of herself but I’ve neglected her for too long, I need to be by her side now more than ever.
She kept staring blankly like I was not makimg sense then she shook her head.
I know this is so much to take in but i want you to listen to me.

Uncle Enoch cleared his throat behind me amd I moved away from the door.

Blue and the rest has already spent a whole day on the road, they were currently resting.
Blue sat at a corner cryimg her eyes out.
She already watched the videos and read his letter.
She wasn’t crying out of pain or regret she was crying because she was happy.
She was happy to know that he was alive even if he wasn’t talking yet.
She was shocked and happy at the same time to find out how Beiber helped keep her father alive.
She hugged him to herself showering him with kisses as she thanked him profusely.
The three men had been doing a great job at teaching her how to use her power using their spare time .
She tried her best to be as corperative as ever.
She knew she had no other option.
She didn’t want to see disappointment in her mates eyes when they finally meet.
She was weak and she knew it.
But Kings Wrights encouraging whispers in her head had kept her encouraged and inspired
We should go now, she announced standing up after planting a kiss on Beibers forehead.
They all got up, August came to her so they can walk together like they have been doing.
Don’t you miss her? Blue asked looking at his face.
I don’t know, August responding looking away.
Blue chuckled.
He doesn’t miss her, isn’t he a total jerk, she whispered to Beiber.
