INSIDE
The rite was ready and Violet opened the portal of hell with Ciara’s magic book.
They were about to start when her body starts to fade and it was unbearable as Ferya too was being burnt to ashes.
They forgot that she was bonded with Ferya else they wouldn’t have gotten rid of her unless they find a way to break the bond.
Hades laughed as he sights Ferya back in his abode but she was no more alive, just her consciousness.
“Your friends didn’t hesitate to ki|| lady of will even if it will cost you your life,” he said with an electrifying voice.
“Please save her my lord, she’s here and I have fulfilled my promise to you. We are going to serve you for life but just save her for once “ Violet pleaded.
“It’s left to her Violet, Lady of will preyed on her weak humane mind but not her true side. Tell her to shred off her weak side and take on her powerful side” he ordered.
Violet turned to face her daughter “Do this and I will be with you for life” Violet pleaded with tears.
If Haliah wanted to end everything with just her death, this would be her chance but she didn’t plan on going alone. She’s determined to make her sacrifice worth it.
“I’m ready, help me” she cried out in pain.
She opened her mind to the dark side that calls for her and her humanity seeped away.
Her mother summoned the ten demons into her and her eyes drained of color.
Her ocean-blue eyes changed to complete black with no pupil and her face blanched.
She screamed as her demonic powers awakened within her. Her voice changed to a deep and shuddering one which gladdens her mother’s heart.
The black aura always hovering on her head came back and she laughed viciously.
The first thing she did was get the protection cables in her hand and she snapped them away from the power source.
The projection flickered and finally went off sending Hades off the access.
“What do you think you are doing Haliah?!” Violet yelled angrily.
Haliah advanced toward her mother but she took steps away from her in fear.
She snatched the magic book from her hand and toss it inside the portal that came from the roof. It got sucked in and swirled upward.
“You promised to stay with me forever mother but I get to choose the place,” she said with a smirk and pushed her mother into the portal.
She was about to enter as well but the demons in her aren’t willing to go back.
She developed a heavy headache and the last bit of humanity in her was drifting away.
Voices came at her “ki|| them all, we want blood”
OUTSIDE
Erik was still fighting the black angels when Anthony got to the scene with the rest.
Susan changed to her dragon form and puff out a fire on all of the black-flying creatures burning them down to nothing.
Jeff shifted into a giant and start catching them with his hand. They are like flies around him and he would catch two together at the same time, tear them into pieces and crush some with his feet.
Kira stayed somewhere away from the fight scene but that didn’t stop them from coming for her. Her scream became her weapon and they slink into liquids, her voice melts them into black liquid.
Amidst the splatter of stinking remains, she walks and fights alongside her friends. It’s quite a good thing she gets to control who her voice affects.
The guards started increasing and troops in out of nowhere, they came together when the alarm went off from the summoning room.
At one point, the sword essence tattoed on Erik’s back starts to glow seeking dominance since it’s the family essence he must carry all his life.
Falcon was forced out, he knew he would not have the opportunity for Erik to house him anymore sooner or later ever since he found the family essence but he didn’t expect it to be too soon.
He fought alongside them but Erik felt sorry for him.
“I’m sorry mate,” he said to him.
His blue sword formed carefully between his clenched fist and the once fiery fire turned to a blue one as he slayed the black angels.
Susan missed an incoming attack but Erik was quick to slice through its stomach and its gut came splashing on the floor everywhere.
Losing its balance, it crashed to the ground with its wings broken.
The big door came open to reveal Ciara running towards them with the other gifted.
She lifted a rock out of the ground with her mind and crushed the coming troop with it.
Anthony smiled on seeing her safe and sound.
The other gifted joined in the fight and that gave Erik the opportunity of going into the summoning room.
On getting inside, he saw a figure clouded by a deep black smoke, voices of wailings coming from the figure and when she turned around, Erik recognized her to be Haliah.
“Nooooo!” he cried out.
Haliah’s dreadful voice echoes in the room warning Erik to stay back but he didn’t.
Haliah wanted to get to the portal but he wouldn’t allow her to and the demons in her are pulling her back as well.
“You don’t understand Erik, I should go with them! If I stay on earth with these demons, they will wreak havoc” she sobs.
“There’s always a way out of everything, I’m sure there’s a way out of this Haliah please” Erik pleaded.
“I’m afraid there’s not! You don’t even know how to save me” she said.
The portal starts to close gradually and Haliah screamed with all her might to overpower the demons in her but they won by taking her over instead. It was said that she wouldn’t recognize anyone, not even her friends.
“Hmmm your essence looks delicious, let’s start with you” her voice came so scary with the demons speaking in unison from within her.
She raised her hands and sharp claws sprang out of them, she started approaching Erik with an evil smile.
“No, I… I can’t do this please” Erik cried.
His legs are weak and his palms sweaty, his sword suddenly feels so heavy to raise and its tip makes a screeching sound as he drags it on the floor.
With tentative steps, he moved away from the incoming Haliah.
“Your friend is gone!” The voices shrieked and Haliah attacked Erik with her poisonous claws.
He got clawed on his arm and it burned him bad.
She laughed out loud and would not stop approaching him “Got a taste of that?”
OUTSIDE
With the gifted helping with the fight, it became a lot easier and fast.
With that, Ciara and Anthony followed into the summoning room.
The moment they stepped in, they sensed the dark aura in the air.
“Oh no!” Ciara cried.
“You need to get away from them” she added.
“Them?” Anthony asked confused.
“That is not Haliah” she answered.
Haliah’s gaze fell on them and she groaned in anger.
“I’m sorry Erik but we need to let her go,” Ciara said.
“Don’t you dare say that about her! Who’s the cause of all these?!” Erik yelled at Ciara.
“I’m so sorry but you need to understand what I’m trying to say first before chastising me” she pleaded.
“Ciara is not like that Erik, she knows kinds of stuff like this” Anthony said.
“Oh, you which? Your great magic book is gone now you can’t send me back!” the demons mocked.
“What? No!” Ciara screamed with a clenched fist.
“If we don’t send her back, it will be another bone in the throat for us,” Anthony said.
This time, Haliah stepped back a little bit and before they can process her next move, she leaped to the wall climbing it like a spider. What she couldn’t do as the real Haliah.
“She’s trying to escape and the portal is closing, we need to hurry” Ciara warned.
Erik shut his eyes tight painfully and took a moment to collect himself.
Haliah growled from the ceiling, she was upside down.
She started advancing towards Erik stealthily like a fox. She took off at a speed and positioned her claws to strike Erik on his neck.
Clara wanted to counter her attack but Anthony stopped her “No” he said.
Haliah was about to strike him when Erik turned around swiftly dodging her attack and she crashed onto the ground.
He swings his sword and the blue lights surround it so brightly.
“I don’t mind sending you all back to hell to get her back, I have a trip to hades as it is,” he said with a smirk.
Haliah tried to attack again and Erik lunged his weird forward, a bolt of strong lightning came out of the sword to stop Haliah and she was sent back to the ground.
It didn’t stop her though, she was quick to get back up.
Anthony switched to his rider’s state and Erik got the cue to join forces with him.
They joined forces and lifted Erik’s sword together. When the demons pushed Haliah towards them again, they strike her with the sword back of the sword and a flash of hot lightning sent her into the portal before it closed.
The three fell weakly.
Erik sat there unable to say a word and then the rest came inside to join them.
“What’s going on here? Where’s Haliah?” Susan asked.
“And the Lady?” Jesi questioned.
With Erik’s condition, they knew something went wrong.
Ciara explained the whole thing to them. They were happy for being free and at the same time sad because it cost them Haliah’s sacrifice.
“You all are free from now on, I’m afraid we can’t stay here any longer. We have no right to use her wealth at our disposal especially since her daughter is not here as well” Ciara said.
“ I will put the house on lockdown, I hope we all find peace… Even though we have no single family on earth anymore,” she explained and the gifted sighed with heavy hearts.
“You all can come home with us, you have nowhere to go,” Erik said quietly and walked towards the door.
They quickly followed after him.
It remained Ciara and Anthony inside.
“Come with us,” he said to her.
She replied with a head nod and teary eyes “ What right do I have to mingle with good people” she said to Anthony.
“You can’t say that Ciara, you chose the good when you have all vulnerability to be evil. I promise to be your friend” he said to her.
Ciara’s eyes welled up in tears, after her parents’ death all she has ever received are criticism, hatred, and maltreatment. But now, someone finally sees the good in her and she wasted no time in taking his hands.
Anthony draws her close to hug her, he pats her back as she cried her heart out.
“We will get her back Erik, there has to be a way” Kira said.
Jeff was short of words so he only remained quiet.
On getting to Falcon outside, Erik went to crouch in from of him. He went on his knees and took Falcon’s mouth in his hands as he caress his fur.
“Worry not mate, it’s time to visit hades, to get your will and a very dear friend,” he said with a faint smile.
They were all surprised to hear this and they gasped and then starts murmuring.
“Is that possible?”
“How can someone visit hades and return?”
“Is there a history of anyone finding the gate of hell on earth?”
Falcon nodded and rest his head on Erik’s palm to console him.
Just then, a car drove into the vicinity with great speed and it came to a screeching halt in front of them.
The door came open and Flora emerge out of the car, followed by Mr.Lin the professor.
