( CRUSHES, DEVILS & HEROES )
Rosario took Mary straight to his apartment and proceeded into the bedroom.
Mary’s slightly opened eyes was on his face throughout the walk.
‘He saved me again, he saved me’ she kept thinking till he dropped her on the bed.
He untied the shirt from her bleeding tummy and his eyes twitched when he saw the deep wound, it’s still bleeding so much.
He lifted her back from the bed and zipped down her gown, then he slipped it away from her body.
Her eyes still remained drowsy as he got the kit and poured the contents on the bed quickly.
He got gauze and started wiping the blood with it, trying to stop the flow.
“Ouch!” She gasped as he pressed it on the wound.
He looked at her already pale face and kept staring, remembering Rapunzel’s words earlier
“Mary saved you, boss”
He finally stopped the flow and got a bottle.
“This will be painful” he said, and she closed her eyes tightly.
He poured the blue liquid on the wound…
“AHHHH!!!!” She screamed out, her eyes opened immediately, and she started crying.
“It hurts!!”
Rosario paused his hand and dropped the bottle, then he took a good look at all her body.
Even the legs and arms, her face and head, she has wounds everywhere.
He folded his fists tightly as he ran his eyes through her body.
He was unavailable for some hours and these happened to her?, What if he had died?
He snapped out of his thoughts and wrapped bandage on the wound before covering her with the duvet.
He stood and made to leave, but she held his shirt, and he looked back to see her eyes opened slightly.
“I’m really glad…. that… you’re… you’re… Alive” she smiled lightly.
Even that light smile moved something in him, and he knows what.
She let go of his shirt and he left for the living room.
Lawrence came in immediately.
“Boss!, You’re awake!” He said surprisingly.
“I’m fine” Rosario replied simply.
“You got injected with wash essence and you woke up after some hours?, You’re really the boss” Lawrence bowed respectfully.
“You have someone else to attend to” Rosario said and led him in.
When he saw Mary on the bed, he smiled.
“The runner?”
“You’re not here to talk” Rosario said sharply, and Lawrence dropped the kit with him on the bed.
He made to take the duvet away from Mary’s body …
“Do you still need your hand?” Rosario glared, and he quickly withdrew his hand.
“But I need to take away the duvet if she’ll get any treatment” he said.
“Drop the ointments, I’ll apply them myself, you can just give her a shot of sedative and painki||er” Rosario said simply.
“As your lordship pleases boss” Lawrence sighed and dropped three brown bottles on the bed.
“Apply these on her wounds twice a day, and….
“Does it sting?” Rosario interrupted.
“Of course” Lawrence replied, and Rosario got the bottles.
He threw them on the wall and they broke.
“Drop something mild!, Something that won’t make her shed a f_cking tear” he yelled.
“Oh…I’m sorry boss” Lawrence quickly dropped another three bottles on the bed.
“Same application pattern” he said simply.
Rosario rolled his eyes back to their sockets.
Lawrence got the painki||er injection and was about to inject her when he noticed her skin.
“She’s pale” he said and opened her eyes with his thumbs, they’re f_cking white.
“She needs blood!, Right now boss!” He said fast, checking her heartbeats with his stethoscope.
“It’s almost gone!” He shouted.
“Stop f_cking joking!” Rosario yelled loudly.
“She needs to get transfused within the next five minutes, else….
Rosario drew his gun immediately, pointing it at him.
“Don’t say that next word, else you’ll visit hell!, get her back to life!”
“I can’t go back to get blood from the hospital, it’ll be too late!” Lawrence replied fearfully.
“Then what?”.
“We need a donor!”
Mary started gasping for breath immediately, and Rosario rushed to her.
“Madonna!”
“Open your f_cking eyes!” He shouted.
“I’ll go search for a donor in the mob” Lawrence said.
“Stop!, Draw my blood I’m a universal donor” Rosario said, and Lawrence turned back.
“Huh?”
“Draw the darn blood bastard!, If she dies you’re following” Rosario replied hotly.
Lawrence quickly got the short transfusion pipes and inserted the syringes to their bodies.
Rosario exerted pressure on the arm, and his blood started flowing through the pipe, into Mary’s body.
He breathed in relief as her breaths started coming back.

CLYDE’S APARTMENT**
His eyes still remained closed as Terrius applied the last ointment on his body.
His breaths are coming faintly, and it’s so hot.
Rapunzel and Pandora stood beside Terrius, watching with obvious concern on their faces.
“It’s the first time he’ll be sleeping in this room, this bastard” Terrius smiled sadly.
“I still don’t get why he’s obsessed with that apple tree” Rapunzel said.
“Why did he risk his life to save Mary again?” Pandora said.
“Again?” Rapunzel and Terrius chorused.
“Has he saved her once?” Terrius asked.
“Yeah, from the valley of snakes, I saw him taking her out” Pandora replied.
“He acts like he h@ťěs her anytime I talk about her, but he kept saving her?, Something smells fishy” Terrius said.
Lawrence came in, and Terrius stood.
“Lord Rosario sent me here, to check on him” he said, sitting beside Clyde on the bed.
It only took three minutes to check his vitals, and he nodded.
“I’ll continue to say this bastard is not human, how can his vitals be ok after what happened to him?, He’s a monster” he said.
“He’s so weird in many ways, I wonder how I’ve been managing him” Terrius said, and Pandora smiled.
“You just smiled!” Terrius faced her.
“Your eyes are dysfunctional I think” she said and returned to her poker face style.
Terrius smiled.
“So.. he’s really ok?” Rapunzel asked eagerly.
“Yes, except for his numerous wounds, once they heal, he’ll be fine” Lawrence stood.
“What about the acid burn on his arm?” Pandora asked.
“No remedy for that, it’ll dry up on its own, but it’ll leave an ugly scar” Lawrence replied and left the room immediately.
Rapunzel’s stomach rumbled.
“I should go get something to eat” she said.
“Pandora let’s go eat!” She rushed out of the apartment.
Pandora made to go too, but Terrius held her.
“What!” She snapped harshly, taking her hand from him.
“Nothing” he smiled, and she drew her gun.
“Always stay there steps away from me, I wasn’t not joking about pulling the trigger anytime I lose it” she glared as she walked out.
“Psycho” Terrius smiled.
