“She is my girlfriend mom!!”Grey yelled
“And she is my daughter in-law!!” Mrs Ambrose yelled back at him
“And she is my childhood friend”
They heard a familiar voice from behind making them to turn to the direction of it
“Jake” Elora called blinking her eyes
When did he come?
Grey seeing him sighed
“You aren’t invited here dude” Grey said
“Of course I am…How are you mom?” Jake smiled and took a seat
“Am the happiest person on Earth Jake” Mrs Ambrose said with a smile
“For the last time who invited you here?” Grey asked
“Mom did” Jake replied with a grin
“Really mom?” Grey asked
“What?”
“You and Jake are now stabbing me in the back, that’s mean” Grey scoffed
“Who is stabbing who?” Mrs Ambrose scoffed
“How?” Grey asked confused
“By not telling me you are gonna introduce my daughter in-law to me” Mrs Ambrose replied
“Are you serious now mom?”Grey sighed
“Is that even called stabbing?”Grey asked
“Of course,,,you didn’t tell me you gonna introduce her to me,,,but I kinda had the feelings though but atleast you should have given me headups” Mrs Ambrose said as she turned to look a Elora, who has been quiet all the time
“Are you enjoying the food daughter in-law?”
“Yes ma,,,you are a good cook” Elora flashed a smile at her
“Thank you dear,,,even Grey can cook,,,I thought him Alot about that aspect” Mrs Ambrose said as she glared at her son who was giving her sign not to talk more further
“Really?” Elora widened her eyes as she turned to look at Grey who diverted his gaze elsewhere
Elora immediately grinned inwardly
“Wait,,,he hasn’t cooked for you?” Mrs Ambrose asked,,, Elora didn’t reply as she just gave out a smile because she doesn’t know how to reply that
Mrs Ambrose not getting an answer from her daughter in-law to be immediately glared daggers at Grey who glared back
When they are done eating and chatting,,, Mrs Ambrose took Elora’s Left hands into hers,,,as she observed it with a keen interest,,, Grey knowing what is running through his mother’s brain,,, swallowed hard as he prays inwardly for her not to pop out the words from her mouth
His mother look at him as she grinned and said
“You have a nice fingers Elora and…”
“Mom we have to go now” Grey said cutting her off
“Why?,,, Are you having difficulty in indigestion?” She asked
“Mom” Grey pinched the space between his brows
“I love you mom” Jake said as he laughed,,, he too understood what transpired between the mother and son except Elora,,,who wanted to go home and digest all that she has seen today
If she has a girlfriend she would have gist with her but she got non,,,yes now she remembered,,,she will gist with Ashley
But the thing is that they aren’t all that close but atleast they used to gist about things
“I love you too son” Mrs Ambrose grinned
“Come here Elora” Grey took Elora’s hands as she stood by his side making Mrs Ambrose face to turn sore
“Wait” Elora released her hands from Grey’s making him to give her a questionable look
Elora smiled and walk towards Mrs Ambrose who immediately smiled
“Thanks for the dinner mother” she said with a smile
“You are welcome daughter in-law,,,come here” Mrs Ambrose hugged Elora and this time Elora didn’t hesitate to hug her back
“Don’t forget about the shopping” Mrs Ambrose whispered into her ears so that Grey won’t hear it
“I won’t” Elora smiled
“Alright” Grey walked towards them and took his girlfriend’s hands
How bad he has missed her
“Good bye ma”
“Good bye daughter in-law”Mrs Ambrose smiled
“Arn’t you gonna say goodbye to your mother Grey” Mrs Ambrose said as she opened her arms for her son in which Grey sighed and went into her arms for a hug
“He is a big baby” Jake whispered to Elora in which she whispered back
“Tell me about that” but that very scene caught Grey’s attention making him to glare at Jake
“Love you dude” Jake gave him a love sign
“Son” Mrs Ambrose gently whispered to her son
“Hmm”
“Hold her tight,,, never let go”
“I won’t mom,,, because she is my pillar”

“Are you okay baby?” Grey asked her when they are now on there way heading home
“Yes,,, your mom is a nice woman” Elora said with a smile
Grey admired the way she was smiling from the behind of his eyes,,,all of a sudden he Immediately pulled behind the road
“What’s wrong?”Elora asked confused
“I missed you baby” With this words he pulled her to himself and clashed his lips on hers
Elora smiled in-between the kiss responding sharply to him
The kiss was so intense as if both of them have been starved for ages and have missed each other so much
