“Mum” Grey Kissed his mother’s two checks
“How are you son?” Mrs Ambrose asked
“Am fine and you mom? ”
“Am so Great seeing you son” Mrs Ambrose replied as her eyes landed on Elora who immediately lowered her head as she greeted her
“Good day ma”
“Good day young lady…you came with your maid again?” Mrs Ambrose gave her son a questioning look
Her son has called saying he wanted to have dinner with her, Mrs Ambrose feeling so excited that her son finally come to whom he used to be, rejoiced as she herself made his favourite dish
Grey turned to look at Elora as a satisfying smile played on his handsome well calved face
He stretched forth his hands as he pulled Elora towards himself, with his hands wrapped around her waist
“Mom meet Elora my girlfriend” Grey said to his mom who had her eyes on his face
Hearing the word girlfriend, Mrs Ambrose immediately diverted her eyes towards Elora who immediately avoided her hard gaze
Elora had her hands gripped on her gown and her hands has turned wet because of so much heat which was the result of been so nervous
“Gir… girlfriend” Mrs Ambrose stuttered as she look at her son to be sure of what she has just heard
“Yes mom, she is the love of my life, the woman after my own heart, the woman who melted this heart” Grey said as he looked down at Elora so proudly
He is so proud of her
“What?” Mrs Ambrose gasps as she look at Elora
“Yes, I came to introduce her to you” Grey said
Mrs Ambrose’s gaze on Elora harden as she approached her, her face was so serious, she wasn’t smiling, she was looking like a Wolf approaching it’s prey
“You” She said when she has approached and stood before Elora…
“Mom” Grey called his mother seeing how aggressively she is looking at Elora
“Don’t intervene” Mrs Ambrose warned
“Of course I Will, because she is my girlfriend” Grey said looking so angrily at his mother
“And she is my daughter IN-LAW!” Mrs Ambrose said with a slightly loud voice
“Huh?” Grey widened his eyes
Elora who had her head lowered since immediately raised her head up
“Oh dear” Mrs Ambrose immediately hugged Elora out of the blue
Elora’s was so d@mn shock, it wasn’t only her but also Grey, he wasn’t expecting that!!
“Can’t you hug me back?”
“Huh?” Elora blinked her eyes as she look at Grey who nodded his head for her to be Calm and go ahead
“Come on dear” Mrs Ambrose urged her making Elora to slightly moved her hands as she placed it on her back
“Welcome to the family daughter in-law”Mrs Ambrose said with all smiles on her face
“How did you do it?” Mrs Ambrose asked Elora when they disengaged from the hug
“Huh?” Elora was confused, she is the most confused person on Earth now
Arn’t rich men’s mother’s always been wicked and aggressive but here is Grey’s mother been so nice and all that
She even called her daughter in-law!!! What the hell is going on!!!
“How were you able to change him?,,, how were you able to light up the light that was turned off in him long time ago?”
“Ah….ah…I didn’t do anything ma” Elora shook her head
“Of course you did daughter in-law” Mrs Ambrose smiled at her as she immediately turned to look at her son,,,in which her smile died down immediately
“Mom” Grey slightly retracted his foots steps back,,, the look on his mother’s face is the look she always has when she is about to hit him when he was small
“You” Mrs Ambrose hit him
“Ah,,,mom, what did I do?”
“How could you reject her the last time you were here?”
“Mom…” Grey wanted to say that they weren’t dating back then but her mother immediately interrupted him
“I definitely knew something was going on between you two,,,so because she is maid you rejected her infront of me!, How can you hurt her feelings like that!!!?” Mrs Ambrose hit him again as she turned to look at Elora who had a shock expression on what she is seeing
“Are you okay daughter in-law?” She asked
“Yes ma” Elora nodded her head as she slightly avoided Grey’s gaze
“You can call me mother from now okay” Mrs Ambrose said
“Huh?”
“Hm,,, come let’s go and eat” Mrs Ambrose led Elora towards the dinning table as she made her to sit on a chair beside her
“Feel at home daughter in-law” Mrs Ambrose said with a smile
“Thank you ma” Elora bowed returning the smile
“Mother” Mrs Ambrose corrected her
“Thank you mother” Elora said as she bite her lips
“What?” Mrs Ambrose asked her son because his face was so sore
“She is my girlfriend” Grey pointed out as he digged in into his food with his Cutries
“So?”
“She is supposed to seat beside me mom,,, Elora come seat beside me” Grey tapped on a chair beside him
“What?,,, Don’t listen to him daughter in-law” Mrs Ambrose shook her head
“Hm” Elora nodded her head with a smile as she smirked at Grey
“Really?” Grey sighed so frustratedly
“I want us to go out some day daughter in-law,,, like shopping,,,what do you think?” Mrs Ambrose asked, she has always Loved to go so many places with her son’s lover because the person will be like a daughter to her that she never had
She never did that with Bella, Grey’s ex girlfriend because she never accepted nor liked her
“Am never bringing her here again” Grey foamed inwardly as he sighs
Is his mother trying to snatch his Elora from him or what?!
“That’s your business,,, why don’t you move in here with me daughter in-law, so that we will be going a whole lot of shopping and vacations” Mrs Ambrose asked with a smile
“Huh?” Elora widened her eyes as she slightly took a gaze from Grey who immediately dropped his Cutries
If he didn’t do anything now,,, his mother will take Elora away from him
“She is my girlfriend mom!!”Grey yelled
“And she is my daughter in-law!!” Mrs Ambrose yelled back at him
