The next day**
The morning sun reflected through the White curtain as it piercied on Grey’s face, telling him is already morning
He moved in his sleep as a smile appeared on his face
He moved his hands wanting to hold the woman after his heart, but his heart immediately skipped a bit because he couldn’t get hold of her
He frowned his face as he moved his hand but yet he didn’t get hold of her but rather it was the pillow that he got hold of
Alerted he flipped his eyes open but yet he didn’t see her
Thinking maybe she was in the bathroom, he called her name
“Elora” But he didn’t get a response
Fear immediately gripped him
Has she left him just like his Ex lover!!
He immediately shook his head, not wanting to imagine such, but yet he drifted off to his old memories
He saw himself in the same state Seven years back, where he woke up but didn’t see Bella his ex lover beside him, the night before that very morning, they both had made a tremendous love to each other, but Grey didn’t know, that night will be his last day of been happy
He didn’t know that Bella was a wolf in a sheep clothing
He searched for her all over the Manison but didn’t see any sign of her, he asked Madam Fiona about her but she said, she had know idea about her whereabouts
Grey was in the state of lossing his mind, he rushed back into the their room but he didn’t get a glimpse of any of her belongings, all of them has disappeared in thin air
Still Grey couldn’t believe she has left him, he was about to walk away in other to take his phone to call her, just then his eyes landed on a note beside the wardrobe
He picked it and it was Ella’s handwriting
After reading it, Grey slumped on the floor, he nearly lossed his mind
Bella didn’t only left him, she also made away with almost Grey’s company shares, that Grey’s company almost went bankrupt
A woman he loved and cherished, a woman he has planned to propose to that very weekend
Was the one that almost ki||ed him, after bringing his company back to health again, he vowed that he will never have any thing to do with a woman…
To prove himself right, he employed so many maids to serve him, frustrating them, sacking anyone that made any kind of advances at him
But he never knew he will find love again through one of them, but this love was powerful, it was overwhelming and overpowering, it over took him and he had no escape routine but to accept it
After recalling all this, fear gripped him the more
Has Elora left him also?, That was the question that kept popping on his head, his Adam’s apple worked up and down as he swallowed up muttering her name
“Elora” His freezed body moved as he gently got down from the bed…
Just then a knock came in at the door as he immediately diverted his towards it, he wanted to talk but the words couldn’t come
The knock came in again and this time the person knocking on it pulled the door open and lo and behold it was Elora
“Good morning Grey” Elora greeted with smiles all over her face
Grey seeing it was her released the air that he was holding since
Elora sensing that he wasn’t okay, walked towards him as she asked
“Are you okay?” But she didn’t get any response from him, he was just staring at her
“Your face is so pale, are you sick?” Elora placed her hand on his forehead checking his temperature
“Your temperature is hot” She said with a widened eyes staring up at him with eyes filled with concern
“Let me call the doctor” She said and made to turn around but Grey was quick to hold her as he hugged her immediately
“Please don’t go” He muttered with a low tone
Elora was so confused on his sudden action and state
“Grey” She muttered his name
“Please don’t leave me” He muttered again as he pulled her more closer, he moved and kissed her neck
Elora immediately felt butterflies in her stomach
“I can’t live without you Elora, please don’t leave me” He said again as Elora moved her hands as she held him
She felt so emotional that tears were about to find its way to her eyes, Seeing Grey like this really hurt her
“Am not leaving you Grey, I will always be by your side” Elora said
“Promise?” Grey asked
“Yes I promise” She replied
“Thank” Grey said as a smile appeared on his pale face
Elora not feeling him again called, his body was getting hotter and hotter and needed immediate medication
“Grey” she called but couldn’t get a response
“Grey” But yet again, she didn’t get a response
Fear immediately gripped her, what has happened to him?!!
Why isn’t he talking and moving again!!?
And he also felt all heavy on her body now, he has released all his weight on her
Is he dead?!!, Elora thought but she immediately shook off the thought from her head…
Come back to your senses Elora and act fast!!?, She scolded herself
“Grey!!” Elora yelled when she couldn’t feel him the more

FOUR HOURS LATER***
“Grey please wake up” Elora said as tears kept dripping down her eyes endlessly, her cheeks has now turned red because of endless crying, her eyes is also puffy
“He will soon wake up Elora, don’t panic” Madam Fiona tried to console and comfort her
“No ” Elora shook her head as she sat beside the bed holding his hand
“He has been like this since hours now, why aren’t he waking up?”
Fiona shook her head as she walk over her, touching her shoulder
“Calm down Elora, you have to stop crying now, the doctor said he is fine, all he needed was some rest because his mind was stressed hours ago,” Fiona said making Elora to nod her head
“I will get some soup ready for him before he will wake up” Fiona said and left the room
“Grey?, You were okay yesterday, what Happened?, Please wake up and talk to me, you are so hurting me now” Elora cried but she didn’t know that Jake was watching her from the door
He wanted to check on Grey but seeing how Elora was talking to him, he decided not to interrupt her, he quietly close the door and left
“Has his temperature cooled down?” Elora asked herself as she checked his temperature which has cooled down a bit
She bit her lips, as she went and brought water and a neat towel
She dipped the towel inside the bowel, when it has soaked, she drained off the water from it as she placed the wet towel on Grey’s forehead
“This will cool it down” She said as she kept dipping the towel in the cold water and placing it on his forehead
