“Dude you are really doing good” Jake who just returned from states, complemented Grey
He is Grey’s friend who left for the states few years ago to seek for a Greener pasture
He just came to back for vacation and to visit his lonely friend Grey, to know if he will persuade and make him attend club again and to also see if a woman can come into his friends life because he really needs one
After his girlfriend betrayed him, women turned out to be parasite in his eyes
Jake is 32 years old and he has a beautiful woman in his life, which he will soon take to the alter
“Thank you man” Grey nodded his head
Grey searched for his cheerful friend but couldn’t see, all because of a woman
His friend who is always Jovial has turned into a very solid stone, always carrying an aloof face
“The company is coming back to it’s foot again” Jake smiled
“Yeah, the devil’s plan didn’t work after all” Grey said his face still not displaying smile and the devil he meant is his ex girlfriend who tried to ruin him and the company
“Sure, but I miss my old friend man” Jake smiled
“You friend is here” Grey gave him a glare
“When are you getting married man? when are you introducing me to my sister in-law?” Jake asked and he definitely know he has touched the lion on its tail
“Don’t sound like my mom now and… Jake the few weeks you’re gonna stay with me, don’t give me trouble or I will have you kicked out in the middle of the night” Grey thr_@tened and he seems serious
“Calm down man, am just looking out for you” Jake laughed
“You aren’t welcomed” Grey sighed
“You will take me out tonight right?, Let’s go clubbing” Jake suggested which he knew vividly well that Grey will turn him down
“Not interested” Jake shook his head
“Okay, what of grabbing a bottle or two at a bar” Jake suggested again as Grey looked at him as if considering his offer
“Is me Grey, don’t give me that cold attitude”
“Verified” Grey sighed making Jake to smile at least he is heading somewhere

In the evening**
Sir Grey’s car horn made Elora to sprang on her feet from the cushion as she rushed outside to take his brief case
“Welcome sir” Elora bowed when she took his brief case but the man ignored her
She turned to leave but was immediately called by a familiar voice
“Elora” Jake called confused, if he is seeing double or is it truely Elora
“Jake” Elora called him, shocked to see him
“Elora is that really?” Jake walked and hugged her immediately
“Jake is this really you?” Elora hugged him back, he was her childhood friend and crush back in the days. They also attended the same kindergarten
Grey stood confused on what is going on. He sighed because he didn’t know why but he couldn’t stand the scene before him
“Jake” He called
Jake disengaged from the hug and turned to look at him
“You can’t be going around hugging my maids” Grey said and walked passed them
Elora was scared as she made to follow him, because this is her boss and if she went on like this, then she will definitely loss her
“Wait” Jake stopped her as he held her cheeks
“How have you been?” He asked
Grey hearing this stopped as he said
“Bring my briefcase and make me a hot bath” Grey commanded with a cold voice as he walked into the Manison
“Am good, can we talk later, I don’t wanna lose this job” Elora freed herself from Jake
“You aren’t losing it” Jake retorted, he has missed his female childhood friend
“Please Jake, will talk to you later” Elora smiled at him as she rushed off following Grey behind
Jake watched her as he smiled
“She has really grown into a beautiful woman”
“But why is that dude turning from cold to ice, what’s wrong with you Grey?” Jake shook his head and entered the Manison

AN HOUR LATER**
“Sir your bath is ready” Elora said so quietly to Grey who sat beside his table going through his laptop, he wore a white robe because he is gonna enter the bathroom soon
Elora not getting a word from him looked up just to see him busy with his laptop
‘Is he always a workaholic?, He is really stressing himself’ Elora thought as she had pity on the lonely man
Whenever she looked into his eyes, his brown eyes seems vacant and lonely
Elora always felt pity for him and wished she will fill in the vacant in his empty eyes
“Sir…”
“I heard you the very first time” Grey’s voice ran in her ears stopping her from talking
“Sorry sir” She turned to leave but was stopped by Grey’s voice
“How can a maid go around flirting with my guest?” He asking making Elora to turn and face him
His eyes and face was so cold
“I wasn’t flirting sir, he is just a…”
“Don’t talk when am talking maid, you are so bold to talk back at me, is like fiona isn’t giving you lessons, you don’t talk when am talking” Grey said with a cold voice
“Am sorry sir” Elora lowered her head, she was scared and also sad
Why is her boss so cold?!!!
“If such a thing repeat it’s self again, you will be fired, this is my second warning to you, the third one will be of great regret to you. Now leave my sight” He commanded as Elora immediately left the room
Grey cleanched his fist tight, he was angrily, extremely angry and he didn’t know why!
Why is an ordinary maid making him to feel this way?!!!
He walked into the bathroom as his eyes landed on the hot bathtub which he has demanded
Maybe this will calm his nerves
He removed his robe and sinked himself inside the hot water
When he was fully in it, his body immediately burned hot as he groaned in pains
He immediately spranged up from the water which splashed on the marble flour as he yelled in anger
“Elora!!!!”
Elora hearing her name, shuddered immediately in terror and fear
“What have I done now?”
