chapter 48
days flew bye like a speeding cheetah and now is been 3 weeks and the kingdom affairs now rest on the shoulder of the queen . the first 7 days was rough for her since she gat to attend all peace meeting with all the affected families whom had lost one or two members of their family at the massacre night . Matilda and Milo relationship has been going smoothly and they kept the secret of Elena dead to themselves , Milo didn’t tell Matilda about Elena body which he didn’t find and couldn’t bury .
Erica on the other hand has been indoors not even her friends has set their eyes on her . they came visiting countless times but she refuse to come out of her room and as for the search of the prince it’s still ongoing under the command of the queen .
gael stood inside Mr lee’s library and there he found old man Lee reading as usual,Gael left eye had a white eye patch to cover his damage eye .
“haven’t Erica leave her room yet ” he asked but Mr Lee sigh and put down his eye glass beside the book he was reading .
“I don’t what to do with Erica , she doesn’t wanna come out of her room , her foods are now placed outside her doorstep for her to get it when ever she feels like . Gael its been 2 weeks and she hasn’t left that room “he said worriedly and Gael sigh and bite his lips ,Mr Lee leaned back on his chair staring at him keenly
” so Kan is truly back but why haven’t he made any move yet ” Mr Lee asked
” Kan has the power of wisdom and intellectual reasoning which belongs to Kai , he is formulating a big plan . am worried about Erica “he said giving Mr Lee another reason to worry
“i-i t-think we had to leave Zalodan ” Mr Lee stuttered and Gael scoff with an eye roll
” you think it’s that simple they can track you guys ”
” what if you cloak us with one of your cloaking spell “he suggested
” Kan has Kai powers xyra has 30 percent of Pamela powers they are capable of breaking my spell in just a wink “Gael said nonchalantly with a bored look , Mr Lee sigh helplessly ..
meanwhile Agatha bang Erica room door continually hoping she’s gonna open up .
“Erica open this god d@mn door else am gonna break it ” she yelled banging it even more harder
” Erica open this…” she trailed off as soon as the door open and Erica grab her and pull her in then shut the door , Agatha jaw-dropped at the sight in front of her
Erica room looks like a library with scattered books all over the floor and most on her bed, reading table , dressing table and even on her shoe case . she turn to Erica whose hair was totally messed up like she haven’t combed it for years and not to talk of the black circle around her eyes which shows she haven’t slept for days .
“Erica what in the mother of Zalodan is this , have you been eating? you look so tiny , look at your eyes have you been sleeping at all and why is your like world library”she gushed her with questions
Erica huffed and ran her eyes all around her room and that was when she noticed how messed up it is , she rolled her eyes and turn to Agatha whose mouth is still hanging open
“well I have been busy with research” she said returning back to her reading table
“research on what ” Agatha asked staring around and three she could find drawings and paintings hanging on the wall , her eyes landed on a drawing of 5 people and among them she recognized Gael .
“did you draw this ” she asked taking the paper and Erica pause and scoff
” yes I did , I have been having weird dreams lately at first I thought they were dreams but then I discovered it wasn’t just a dream it turns out I have the memories of Pamela Hamlin Gael elder sister . am still trying to process all this , Pamela , Kan , xyra , Kai and Gael all of them have a role am trying to understand . I met xyra at the lantern festival I don’t know why she was there but am sure she has something to to… to ahhh”Erica scream and held her head tight and Agatha quickly ran to her
“Erica what’s going on talk to me ” she panicked and Erica wince even more , the snake tattoo on her wrist glowed and like a flash she saw Gael and her father
“am sorry Leo but I couldn’t save Pamela here’s her baby her name is Erica “Gael said and like a snap the memory lane vanished and she staggered back .she slowly lifted her head up and exhaled heavily ,Agatha watch her with out saying. word
“Erica what’s going on with you talk to be friend ” she urge hoping she’s gonna talk ,Eric slowly walk to the side of her room and she pick up another piece of paper and she stared at it for a while
” am gonna find you Kyle ones I get all this memory lane together am gonna get all the answers I need “she mumbled
” I think you’re going crazy c’mon am not here to watch you talk to yourself all day you’re coming with me to my house “Agatha spat
” no no Agatha I gat alot of work to…” Erica couldn’t finish her worlds were Agatha grab her hand and drag her towards the exit door
“c’mon Agatha please I …I gush wait ” she yelled but Agatha paid no attention and seeing it’s useless she sigh
“fine fine let me freshen up first then am gonna follow you “she yelled and Agatha stop dragging her
“okay now go freshen up am waiting for you right here ” she said and Erica rolled her eyes and curse under her breath as she made her way towards the bathroom .

Agatha took Erica to her house and they spent lots of time together playing board games ,Erica wasn’t much interested in the game she still had her body and soul fixed on her research .Agatha had tried all she could to get her to talk but she refuse saying it’s not important but agatha knew something isn’t right about Erica ,the fact that she’s kinda weird in many ways .Erica won the board game 16 times and she found it weird because Erica she knows can never win her at all she (Agatha ) and Elena were the best when it came to board game and Milo and Erica suck at it .
” the queen is really worried about the prince mysterious disappearance she has asked alot of men to search for him “Agatha said to Erica whose eyes were pinned to the board game
“she’s wasting her time Kyle isn’t in this dimension”Erica said unconsciously and Agatha arched her brows
” what do you mean by that ” she asked and for a brief seconds Erica took her gaze from the board and stared at her then shook her head and return her gaze back to the board
“forget I said that ” she said
“Erica ” agatha called and she sigh and leaned back now staring directly at Agatha
” c’mon girl there’s no need for you to give that look “erica stated feeling uncomfortable with Agatha weird stares
” are you kidding me huh ,you have changed drastically in just 3 weeks I mean how …”
” the moment Kyle disappeared”Erica answered with a frown and Agatha hissed
“you mean the prince huh c’mon Erica what connection do you have with him to make you worry so much huh ,he’s not even related to you or …”
” I love him “Erica chirped and Agatha left her words hanging ,she blinked rapidly while staring at Erica like she had just spoken an unknown language
“what do you mean by that ,love is a strong word to use” she asked in a low tone and Erica shrugged and return her gaze back to the board
“I love him Agatha and I will do anything to bring him back ..”
” are you sure you’re mentally okay huh ,you’re in love the mysterious prince of zalodan.how is that even possible “she half yelled
” look Agatha I can’t answer you question but know this I love Kyle with every thing in me,I didn’t notice this until at the late hour .for the past 3 weeks I felt empty I felt deferent and lonely I miss his angry look expression his voice his face and his everything .I wished I had told him how I felt when I had the chance but it’s never too late because am gonna find him”she said glaring down at the board and
Agatha twisted her lips and shook her head slowly with out giving out any response .
“I don’t know what to say Erica ” she mumbled
they both were quiet for a while and out of no where the entrance door to the cottage burst open and they both flinched and turn their attention toward it .
Katherine walk in smiling from ear to ear and Erica and Agatha frown
“what the hell is wrong with you Elena why the hell did you push my door open like that “Agatha flared up and Katherine giggled while scanning the cottage
“nice house Trixie long time no see dear step sister ” she said now settling her gaze at Agatha .
“who are calling Trixie Elena and what’s with the red gown and red lipstick you look like a witch “Erica said ironically and Katherine laugh out loud confusing them even more
“you most Erica the daughter of the farm man you look beautiful. now Trixie don’t you think it’s time to die huh it will be fun ”
” I don’t know what is wrong with that mess up brain of yours Elena but am not into games, get outta my house right now “Agatha yelled angrily and Katherine giggled even more
” make me dear sister ..”
“am not your sister Elena and stop calling me Trixie idiot my name is Agatha . now get out “Agatha yelled and rouse up , Katherine chuckled daringly
Erica who has been watching her closely trying to figure out what’s wrong with her .
“you know I think I should throw you out myself” Agatha spat
” drixu vul “Katherine chanted and clinched her fingers into a fist
” ahhhhhh “Agatha scream as a hard pang of headache , she felt her brain melting and the pain was immense .
“ahhhh stop ahhh ” she scream and drop on her knees , Erica rouse up immediately and came to Agatha side
“Agatha what’s wrong your nose it’s bleeding “she asked as soon as she sighted the blood dropping down from Agatha nose
” m-my b-brain ahhhh s-she’s m-melting my brain “Agatha writhe with eyes close and Erica lifted her head up
” hahaha this will be fun I can’t wait to end your little life Trixie but this time am gonna a make sure you will never be able to reincarnate again “Katherine said laughing
” she has the face of Elena but she isn’t Elena , she’s someone else ” Erica thought
” hey stop hurting her who are you huh , I know you aren’t Elena”Erica yelled
” I have no business with you young girl so stay out of this “Katherine spat
” I can’t you’re hurting my.. ”
” ahhhhh “Agatha scream out even more in pains
” stop hurting her I said stop “Erica yelled and dashed toward Katherine who wave her hand and a strong force hit Erica and see slam on a wooden table beside the room which shattered
“ahhh um ” she wince
“I h@ťě pest you ” Katherine said and snap her fingers and Erica legs snapped from it’s original position.
” ahhhhh ” Erica shrieked and knelt down
“seems am gonna ki|| you first as collateral damage “she said and wave her hand and wooden stake flew toward Erica and it almost stabbed her but Gael popped out of nowhere and caught the still stake before it could find it’s way into Erica stomach.
Katherine beamed the moment she saw him and Gael frown recognizing her asap
“Katherine” he called
“yes baby ,miss me ” she asked grinning , Gael release Agatha from Katherine torment and she collapsed on the ground groaning in pain while Erica sigh as her limbs healed up …
she came close to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders still smiling from ear to ear
“i miss you baby , you look more handsome just like old times “she said and kissed his nose bridge then she kissed his cheek then his lips .. Agatha saw this and she frown glaring at them
“g-gael ” she stuttered and hearing her voice gael pushed Katherine away and she staggered back and glare at Agatha ,Gael quickly knelt beside Agatha and he placed her head on his thigh
“don’t worry love am gonna heal you ”
“w-who i-is s-she ” she stuttered
“shush don’t worry she’s a nobody ” Gael said now glaring at Katherine who felt hurting watching them , her heartache badly and jealousy burn through her body . she cover up with a smirk
” am gonna be back Gael and when I do I will make sure she’s dies . we are together for ever nothing will separate me from you this time not even her “and after saying this Katherine mumbled an unknown spell and she vanished out of sight
