chapter 16
“I will climb climb climb
up high to hill just prove
how much I love
I walk walk walk through
dept of hell

to the mountain side

a soft voice sang melodiously and the sound of the keyboard made the song even more listenable and pleasant to the ears . Erica sang while the prince played and after a long while she finally ended the song and exhaled heavily
“wow I did it won’t you at least rate …” Erica was still talking when she noticed the price glare and she kept shut immediately . she was seated at the top cover of the piano and the prince was seated in front of her .
“your voice sounded nice despite how awful your pitch was “he said and Erica couldn’t help but blush ,it was really the first time he had ever complimented her
it was actually the first time he had ever complimented anyone
“thank you your highness ” she said almost in a whisper and he nodded with a blank blank expression
“my prince I hope you won’t be angry if I ask you a question i-its k-kinda ummm “she stuttered and swallowed hard
” speak “he snapped and erica nodded
she pushed the few loose strand of hair in front of her brows away with a nervous smile .
“why don’t you like coming outside during the day “she asked while fuddling her fingers
prince Kyle brows knitted into a frown a very deep intimidating one at that .she soaked the bottom of her lips hoping her won’t flare up like always
“my curse doesn’t let me to do that ” he said huskily and she couldn’t help but wonder what he meant by curse
yes she had heard him said something about a curse but she still don’t understand him .
“my prince you always say you’re curse how do you know that ”
“because I know “he said flatly
” if I should ask who cursed you and how are you sure you are even cursed “she said in her most calmest voice . prince Kyle was mute for a while and his burning gold eyes were on the piano keys
“look into my eyes and tell me what you see ” he said and slowly lifted his head up and her emerald eyes locked with his gold eyes .
all Erica could see was his beautiful gold eyes and nothing more but when she took a closer look she discovered behind those gold eyes was something she had never noticed and that thing was Hope .
“I see nothing my prince ”
“no human eyes is gold and glowing I am cursed and my curse is what keeps me away from the outside world “he said staring at her .
Erica shook her head negative confusing the prince
“I don’t believe in all those my papa use to tell me what ever we believe is what usually befall us . if you believe you’re curse then you will be curse but if you don’t then no one can curse you .god made us to self-actualize ourselves to what ever we think and belief “she said . prince Kyle nodded slowly with out saying a word as he pounder on her words despite the darkness in him her words still was able to reached his soul .
he rouse up slowly and left the room with out saying. word and erica shrugged her shoulders and quickly took a seat in front of the piano …
hours flew by and it was midnight and by this time Erica was fast asleep , the prince stood outside the mansion staring at the half moon . wind whistled into his ears causing his hair to dance to the frequency of the wind
his gold eyes never for once left the moon
in 2 days time it will be full moon the dreaded period of his life , every full moon is like walking on fire rocks an thorns but over the years he had gotten used to it .
“full moon is coming Kyle ”
“we shall take over your body and out an end to that pesky human girl ”
” hahaha we are the curse of chaos “the dark whispers echoed
” a full moon of dread the period we shall rain for 9 hours , we shall wroth the human villages close to us an blood shall flow like a fountain “the whispers echoed again
he winced and shut his eyes for a brief seconds
“god made us to be able to self-actualize ,if you believe you’re cursed then you are cursed ” Erica words rang in his head
” am not curse ” he muttered and like a thunderous clap the darkness in him enraged
“you are cursed Kyle you are our slave ”
“yo better accept us ”
“am not curse ” he yelled and flung his eyes open and funny enough his eyes were no longer glowing ,his iris were bright blue like the ocean and the symbol on his forward disappeared .
right in front of him he saw stood 3 dark shadows with flaming red eyes . the curse of chaos stood right there glaring at him and for the first time the prince was frightened by them .
“h-how ” he stuttered
“you are our slave take it or leave it.you belong to us ” they said in unison and in a flash they all dashed forward and submerged into the prince body and due to the force of the submerging the prince flew backwards and he crashed on a statue which was shattered an he dropped on the ground unconscious …
the flame symbol on his forehead appeared again and it glowed brightly…

** Zalodan, next day ***
Milo’s bar was booming with laughter of men and their chatting voices .Milo was at the counter and in front of him was Elena
“when did Agatha start working here ” she ask while staring at Agatha who was serving a table filled with men and sluts .
Milo chucked and pureed wine on a cup
“she started yesterday I don’t know why but am really happy for her ” he said but Elena wasn’t buying the fact one bit , Agatha isn’t the type who can just change over night hell no there most be something behind her sudden change .
“hey Lena ” Agatha said and turn to Milo
“7 cups of don mark ” she said and Milo nodded and quickly got the wine ready .
“so how come you now decided to work here ” Elena ask while staring at Agatha
” am tired of my old job so I decided to take Erica’s advice ” she said but Elena hissed and placed her elbow on the table while grinning
“are you sure you wanna change your job , you can keep being a thief it suits you more than a waitress “she said more in a mocking tone and Agatha groan out in frustration but flash a smile .
“yeah yeah I know but am still curious to know how it feels to be jobless and …” Agatha leaned close to Elena
” Milo won’t look your way sweetheart so go get a life ” she whispered and winkled at Elena before walking away with a tray
“you.. ahh ” Elena hissed and bite her lips really hard to the point she was almost bleeding
” hey Elena you’re bleeding ” Milo said with a frown , she sigh and touched her lips and there she could see blood
“gush I didn’t even…”
“it’s okay here use this ” he said and gave her his handkerchief which she gladly collected
“thanks ” she said but he ignored her and continue attending to the customers ..
Agatha was still serving when one of the waitress came to her
“Agatha take this to unit 14 a customer is waiting there “the waitress said and handed a tray of wine hastily and walk away
” like seriously ” Agatha yelled at the waitress who had already disappeared into the crowd
“I h@ťě this job it’s better to be a thief that stress my @zz like this “she grumbled and took the tray towards the VIP section and she found a door which had unit 14 written on it . she pushed it open and walked in
“good day sir and here is your order ” she said and place the tray on the table with out even sparing the customer a glance not like a she care .
she stood up erect and her eyes almost popped out of it’s socket when she saw his face .
his white hair was carefully packed in 2 hair bond
“hello little thief ” Gael squealed smiling widely and Agatha eyes redden in anger while glaring at this white psycho in front of her
Gael on the other hand won’t stop smiling from ear to ear like a reptile and in front of him was his white favorite cup which as usual is filled with liquor…
” you bastard ” she gnashed her teeth and he smile
“is that how to greet in your own world , am happy to decided to heed to my advice” he said
” I didn’t heed to nothing I decided to stop stealing so don’t give yourself the credit”she spat glaring at him ,he leaned forward with his usual grin and folded his arms on the table and push his body forward .
” like it or not little thief you changed because of me “he said and winkle at her ,she sneered
Agatha grab Gael by the neck and smashed his face on the table ,she pick up a bottle of rum and stabbed it into his neck . Gael gasped and drop dead on the table with his blood all over the table like a rolling water ..
“hey snap out of it ” Gael yelled an snapped his fingers and Agatha was brought back to reality .she frown when it down to her that it wasn’t real and that Gael is still alive and breathing .
“you …am gonna be the one to put a bottle on your head ” she yelled whole breathing hard and Gael giggled
“I will like to see you try ”
