Chapter 23
🌹ANGRY TIGER🌹
“Emily..I mean my heartbeat. I know you might
h@ťě me for what I’m about to say or you’ll
probably end the friendship between us but I’m
sick and tired of letting this eat deep into me
and until i say it out loud to you, I won’t be able
to see myself as a real man. I just wanted to tell
you that I..LOVE YOU EMILY and I wish for you
to BE MY GIRLFRIEND. I promise to break up
with Bella the moment you agree to date me”.
Zayn muttered on his knees as he stared up at
Emily who stood looking down at him with a
blank expression on her face.
Zayn’s posture was like one who was
proposing to his shocked girlfriend, cause right
now Emily had a shocked expression on her
face as it was no more blank.
“You don’t have to give me a reply now. I
promise to wait until you’re fully ready to…
“I accept”. Emily cut in surprising Zayn.
“Huh? You…agree to be my girlfriend?”. Zayn
mumbled trying to be sure he heard right before
celebrating.
“Yes tiger I would love to be your girl”. Emily
replied with a cute smile this time around and
when Zayn made her stand up and rejoice Emily
used her fingers to push him right back to his
knees.
“What do you think you’re doing? You haven’t
helped me with my shoelace yet”. Emily said
and Zayn looked at her in confusion.
“Tiger? Are you okay? You agreed to help me
with my shoelace and that’s why you went on
your knees earlier. But then you ghosted out and
began staring at me like someone who was
about to propose. Now you’re about standing up
looking so happy ready to carry me up as if I
just gave you good news? Tiger, are you drunk
or something? How come you’ve been thinking
alot lately? And you still haven’t helped me with
my shoelace. If only you hadn’t forced me to
pull my heels and dumped them in the car, I
wouldn’t be facing such troubles with you right
now”. Emily mumbled grudgingly and that was
when realization hit Zayn that he had merely
been fantasizing earlier and he sighed lowly in
frustration not wanting to show out his
disappointment he helped Emily with her
shoelace before getting back on his feet and
Emily smiled at him.
“Thank you! So what movie are we watching?”.
Emily asked.
“Huh?”. Zayn muttered in puzzlement.
“You brought me here to the cinema to catch a
movie right?”. Emily asked and Zayn looked
around only to find out that they were really
standing in front of the cinema.
“Let’s go in first, you’ll find out later”. Zayn said
as he began leading Emily into the building.
“But seriously. Were you gonna propose to me?
Wow!! I’m that pretty?!! You know a wife like me
could make you go Bankrupt tiger! I h@ťě cheap
things, remember”. Emily teased Zayn who had
a serious look on as he went into the cinema.

“Now that we’re here, do you wish to order
anything? It’ll be on me”. Max said, stroking
Avery’s hair after breaking the hug with her.
“Of course it’ll be on you! I want ice cream!”.
Avery quickly replied and Max chuckled before
leading her to an empty table for two.
“Wait for me here. I’ll be back with your ice
cream”. Max winked before walking over to the
counter to order their drinks while Avery smiled
sheepishly after him.
“I can’t believe he really agreed to date me!! I
should call Emily and rub it in her face…no I’ll
text her instead”. Avery finally decided, then she
brought out her phone and texted Emily.

Avery texted and immediately her phone began
ringing. She smirked when she saw it was Emily
who was calling then she decided to take time
before answering it.

“That arrogant thing! She better pick up right
now!”. Emily snapped as she tried Avery’s line
again. Zayn had actually brought her to the
movies to watch a romantic love movie for the
first time in their friendship.
They both had the same similarities when it
came to watching movies and it was that they
both loved action movies with no romance at all
since Emily doesn’t understand anything
involving love she made Zayn h@ťě it too, but
right now they were gonna watch what was at
the top of their forbidden list?!
“I’m so shocked right now. Like she’s dating
Max of all people?!”. Emily gasped.
“Who’s dating Max?”. Zayn asked as he
appeared with their smoothies and popcorn
making Emily flinch in surprise.
“No one…I mean someone…though it might
still be a joke so I’m not sure yet. After all we
both know Max can never be in a serious
relationship”. Emily said with an awkward smile
assuring herself also.
“Here. I got you strawberry juice like you
wanted”. Zayn said, handing her a cup of the
juice and Emily smiled cutely, immediately
locking their arms.
“Can you request for a change in the movie
pleasee tiger?”. Emily pouted cutely but Zayn
only pecked her nose before pulling her along
with him to the cinema and groaned as she
reluctantly followed him.

Max was still waiting for his drinks to be given
to him when Winter unconsciously joined him at
the counter and that was when one of the
waiters finally handed his drinks over to him
and he took it as he continued staring at Winter
who hadn’t noticed his present yet as she
placed her order till he spoke.
“You blocked me right?”. Max inquired and that
was when Winter turned to face him. Her
expression depicted how shocked she was, she
abandoned her order and immediately rushed
out of the restaurant.
Max walked over to Avery in a hurry with the
aim of dismissing their meeting but Avery had
already stood up.
“I’m sorry Maxxy. My mom just called and she
wants me home now….
“No worries we’ll chill next time”. Max
interrupted and after giving him a light kiss on
the cheek Avery wave him goodbye before
leaving the restaurant.
‘He didn’t even offer to drop me off at home’.
Avery thought as he turned back to stare at Max
but he was already gone, then she waved the
thought off and went home.
Max searched everywhere round the restaurant
for Winter. He knew she was still around cause
her car was still at the parking lot so he only
needed to find her.
Then he finally found her making a call at the
female restroom.
“No! No! Douglas, I don’t want you to come
pick me up later. I want you to do that now
please just come and get me”. Winter pleaded to
her driver through the call and that was when
Max barged into the restroom locking she door
behind him and Winter flinched in fear upon
seeing him.
“You’re that afraid of me?”. Max scoffed and
Winter gulped down nothing.
“Why’d you block me…
“I didn’t block you, I just didn’t want to answer
any of your calls”. Winter cut in a low tone.
“Why? I remember promising you I’d stop
f-__-king around if you agree to come back to
me”. Max asked, taking a step closer to Winter
who took a step backward.
“I…don’t…want that”. Winter stuttered.
“Then what the f-__-k do you want?!!”. Max
shouted as he angrily pulled her closer to him
by the waist as he held her tight with one hand
while he used the other hand to grip her face
tightly.
“You know too well you’re the reason why I
turned out like this? A bitter chronic playboy
who still hasn’t gotten over his breakup with his
lover”. Max said, gritting his teeth in the process
and a tear slipped out of Winter’s eyes as a
result of the pressure in which in holding her,
then Max chuckled lightly before letting her go.
“My mansion 8pm tonight. You wanted space
and I’ve given you just about enough, you’ll
f-__-king come see me or face my wrath
tomorrow morning”. Max thr_@tened before
walking out of the restroom and Winter gasped
lightly for breath as she stared after him.
“It’s my fault. I didn’t know he would turn out
like this. I shouldn’t have agreed to be his
f-__-kmate in the first place. How did he end up
falling in love with me?”. Winter muttered with
glassy eyeballs as if she was going to cry.

“So you want me to partner up with you guys
to get rid of Emily which will authomatically
bring Zayn low but none of you are ready to
protect me from him on Monday morning?!!”.
Gwen yelled in anger.
“Look Zayn and I respect something about
ourselves and that’s our privacy in that school.
No matter how much we h@ťě our self, our
privacy doesn’t concern anyone so we respect it
and stick to our boundaries and since he hasn’t
crossed mine while ahould I cross his?…
“Oh please cut that f-__-king crap Kelvin! We
both know you’re afraid of Zayn and thats why
you need more people to help you bring him
down!”. Gwen snapped.
“If Zayn wants to purnish you for what you did
to Emily then quietly take it and don’t get Kelvin
involved to help you. He’s only here to help you
deal with Emily and not doubke cross Zayn by
spoiling his plans”. Camila said and Gwen
scoffed at her.
“To think even this lowly thing gets to speak to
me anyhow”. Gwen glared and Camila angrily
moved closer to her.
“Say that again and Watch me dish your
tongue to vultures!!”. Camila glared back and
Gwen faced Kelvin.
“You know what i think? I find you two useless!
You want my Service but i can’t request for
yours? I was fine working out things myself and
I’ll continue with that! I don’t need your d@mn
help before getting what i want!”. Gwen yelled in
rage before storming out of the area.
“I told you that Ɓîtçh was a capital letter NO go
area”. Camila said to Kelvin who just smirked as
he made Camila face him raising up her chin to
face him.
“She’ll come around very soon and by then
we’ll make her our slave with no say at all.
Afterall she’s also a lowlife”. Kelvin muttered
deviously before roughly claiming her lips and
Camila fiercly kissed him back.

The movie was about to begin and Emily rolled
her eyes ready to sit right next to Zayn but
immediately Cindy came from nowhere sitting
on her spot and Emily scoffed before wrapping
her hand to face her.
“Hey! You know you’re sitting on my spot!”.
Emily snapped and Zayn signaled to her to sit
at the empty seat by his left side but Emily
refused wanting to sit by his right.
“Get up now before I ruin your awful make
up!!”. Emily snapped but Cindy chuckled
mockingly before facing Zayn with a nice smile.
“Hi I’m Cindy. You’re Zayn right?”. Cindy asked
and Emily scoffed while Zayn gave Cindy a rude
glance at first but after seeing the angry look on
Emily’s face he decided to play along.
“Yeah how do you know that?”. Zayn replied
with a flirtatious smile and Emily’s eyes
widened.
“I just thought so. All the Zayn’s I’ve come
across with are extremely handsome but you
are different. You look like a complete
demigod”. Cindy complimented and Zayn
flushed a little making Emily fume more.
“Thanks. You’re not too bad yourself”. Zayn
replied and right when Cindy was about to blush
Emily pulled her up from her seat by the hair
tightly flinging her to the ground and Zayn’s
eyes widened while Cindy yelped in pain.
‘I thought she was weak? Where the hell did
she get this much strength from?”. Zayn
thought.
Then Emily sat regally right next to Zayn
smirking at Cindy who glared at her.
“Aren’t you gonna leave? Or you want me to
disgrace you further?!”. Emily yelled. Cindy
stood up in annoyance wanting to slap Emily
but a glare from Zayn made her drop her hand
down, while Emily stuck out her tongue at her.
“We can hangout some other time right…?
“No! My tiger’s obviously not interested in a
lowly Ɓîtçh like yourself!!”. Emily snapped
rudely.
“You’re the cheap one here not me!! After all I’m
not the one parolling around with someone
else’s”. Cindy snapped back.
“You want me to throw you out myself?”. Zayn
thr_@tened and Cindy angrily walked out of the
cinema.
“To think you were flirting happily with that
annoying thing! You’re the cheap one here!”.
Emily snapped.
“Continue running your mouth loudly and we
both might end up getting thrown out of the
cinema before the movie even begin”. Zayn
muttered and Emily rolled eyes at him before
focusing on the movie that was about to begin.
Right at the middle of the movie the main
casts who happened to be bestfriends in the
movie soon fell in love with themselves and like
that after the male lead had asked the female
lead out and she agreed, from best friends they
became a loving couple.
“d@mn! This is crap! Can’t believe you wasted
your money to buy tickets to watch this movie
tiger”. Emily spat disgustingly and Zayn faced
her.
“You don’t like the movie’s storyline? What if it
was you in the girl’s shoes?”. Zayn asked and
Emily broke into a teasing Laughter but when
she saw how serious Zayn looked she stopped
laughing.
“I didn’t know you were being serious”. Emily
mumbled.
“Answer my question”. Zayn said and Emily bit
her lower lip.
“I don’t just think it’s best they remain friends. I
mean thats more better than they becoming a
couple it’s so yuck!”. Emily blurted out
senselessly and Zayn stood up after letting out
a low before.
“Tiger! Did i say anything wrong?”. Emily stood
up grabbing his hand with an innocent look on
her face.
“It’s Zayn, get that”. Zayn replied before leaving
in annoyance.
“Was it something I said?”. Emily mumbled
before also following after him.
