Aamir looked at her with these particular pair of cold eyes that always made her scared during the time they were married. She couldn’t get over the fact that he actually came all the way here to present the divorce papers she initially wanted to present to him herself.
Zoya closed her eyes and tried to force the tears back. This is it… Once she signs the papers, it’s all over… Her previous life will be nothing but an existence of what she had been through in the hands of the Sharma family.
“Kashan,” she called out and Kashan immediately replied,”Yes honey.” He looked at Aamir when he said this and he was really relieved to see the dark look that appeared on Aamir’s face.
“Please get a pen for me,” Zoya said with looking at Aamir. She was trying to hide the tears in her eyes and Aamir didn’t even notice that cause he was busy glaring at Kashan who just kept on smirking at him.
‘ That dude even gets to call her honey. How dare he call my wife honey!?,’ Aamir thought as he glared at Kashan who was retreating to the bedroom to get a pen.
Once he left the room, Aamir looked at Zoya. She was still looking down refusing to meet his eyes. There was so much he wanted to say at that moment. There was so many things he wanted to tell cause he currently felt like he owed her alot of apologies.
He felt like he should apologise to her for all the pain. Yes, an apology wouldn’t do. An apology won’t be enough but at least he would get some of the guilt off his shoulder.
“So this is what you really want huh?,” These were the words that came out of his mouth the moment he opened it. He almost wanted to slap himself for saying such a foolish thing.
But then Zoya looked at him. She looked a little bit… No… She actually looked very angry. Angry tears even shone in her eyes. “This is what you deserve after all you have done to me,” she spat out angrily.
Before he could say anything else, Kashan came out with a pen. Aamir brought out the papers and showed her a blank space that requires her signature.
“Sign here and be quick with it…. I already feel so comfortable that I disturbed your lovey-dovey moment,” he told her icily.
Zoya was so pissed off when she heard his words. What he is trying to say is that she is wasting his stupid, precious time right!? Then since he was able to sign the papers without any hesitation, she can do the same.
His actions just further confirmed that their marriage never meant anything to him from the start. She collected more like snatch the papers from his hands and then started to sign on the required places furiously.
Aamir used his palm to rub his face trying so desperately to hide a smile. He knew she wouldn’t read it. Just as she was about to sign in the last place, Kashan suddenly spoke,”Zoya, don’t you think you should read it first before signing?”
“There’s nothing else to read. I drafted all my terms and conditions to the lawyer myself,” Zoya replied curtly as she glared at Aamir. Then she slowly signed on the last one and literally slapped his face with the papers.
Aamir chuckled and slowly bent down to pick up the scattered papers. Zoya was even more infuriated by the sound of his annoying chuckle. Is he so happy because he is not going to be bound with her in this marriage anymore?
Is he so happy to end their marriage?? Zoya sniffled lowly, trying to stop the stubborn tears from falling. This man doesn’t worth any more teardrop of hers.
“Great… They will be in touch with you soon,”Aamir told her as he quickly brought his phone and sent a message to someone. Zoya was a little bit confused but then she thought of something and was like ‘ Did he already contact his lawyers?’
Is he trying to end their marriage this very day? Before anyone could say a word, Aamir walked into the living room and sat down comfortably on a sofa. He spread out the papers and soon began to take so many pictures of it.
“Hey! Mister! Shouldn’t you be leaving now since you already settled your business with her!?,” Kashan said, trying to keep his tone low. Even Zoya looked suprised.
Why will he just enter into her living room and sit down comfortably like he is the owner of the place!?
“I am sure I’m not talking to a deaf person!? What the heck are you still doing here!?,” Kashan lost it when Aamir didn’t reply him.
When Aamir decided he had taken enough pictures, he finally looked up. “Why are you still standing there? Go in and pack your things or do you want me to help you,” Aamir asked Zoya with a mischievous smile dancing on his lips.
Zoya was flabbergasted. What the heck is he saying now? Even Kashan looked puzzled while wondering what game Aamir is playing now.
“Mr Sharma, you should leave now before I call the security to come show you out of this place,” Zoya warned him. Aamir was amused that she already switched the formalities so fast… So now it’s now Mr Aamir.
“Don’t you understand Mrs Sharma? Go in and pack your things. You are leaving this place,” Aamir dropped the bombshell. Zoya froze… Okay, what’s going on? First he called her Mrs Sharma, didn’t they just sign the divorce papers?
Why is he even telling her to go pack her things? A knock resounded on the door just then. Kashan swiftly opened the door and panicked when bodyguards rushed into the suite… Like an army of bodyguards!
Aamir smiled when they came in. He stood up and told them,”Go in and pack all her things. Then carry them to the cars,” Aamir instructed them and some of them walked to her bedroom.
“What are you doing!? Hey! Stop! Where do you think you are going!? Call security! Someone call security,” Zoya suddenly panicked.
Aamir just smiled and watched her with squinted eyes. No matter the amount of security she is going to call, none of them will be able to do anything to him.
Kashan immediately walked to Zoya but a bodyguard quickly stepped in front of him, preventing him from getting to Zoya. “Sir, please respect yourself and don’t come close to Madam. Don’t make our boss angry,” the bodyguard warned him.
Kashan glared at Aamir and shouted at him,”What do you think you are doing!? What’s all these fiasco!? Why are you ordering them to pack her things!? Don’t think your stupid bodyguards can keep me away from Zoya!!”
Then he moved to walk closer to Zoya again. Aamir made a clicking sound with his tongue and looked at Kashan coldly. “I’m sure you won’t want to do that… If you move another inch closer to her, I will make sure the bodyguards beat you to a pulp.”
Zoya couldn’t speak. What is going on!? Kashan laughed angrily and asked Aamir,”And who do you think you are to tell me that!?”
Aamir brushed his hair in a funny way and informed Kashan,”I’m her husby.”
“Actually, it’s ex-husband…,” Kashan tried to spite Aamir but the latter picked up one of the divorce papers and said,”I am not sure that is what this paper is saying…. But don’t dare me. The best thing is that the cops won’t even question me if I order them to beat you up.”
Kashan rushed to him and snatched the papers out his hands. As soon as his head fell on it, his face turned pale. When he finished reading it, he rushed towards Aamir angrily.
“You f-__-king b*stard!!! How dare you trick her like this!!?,” He reached out to punch Aamir but the bodyguards held him back. Aamir whistled and told him,”I don’t care what you do… Just make sure to stay away from my wife or I’ll break your legs.”
Zoya bent down and picked up the paper. She trembled as she read all that was on the paper. Her eyes immediately pooled with tears. Once she finished, she walked to Aamir and slapped his face so hard that he winced in pain.
“Who gave you this right!? Who gave you the right to mess with my life like this!? Who are you to determine my life!?,” She questioned angrily.
Just when she had thought she was getting a divorce, she ends up getting even more entangled with him. A part of her was simply relieved but the major part was mostly angry… How could he have done this!?
