Nelson quickly released his hand from his mother’s hold immediately they entered the changing room
” What does that supposed to mean, why did you take the slap?” He asked when he finally found his voice
” Because I can’t allow any customer to slap you just like that, I’m the one working here…… ” Sonia replied
” Mom, this is a personal issue”
” Stop trying to cover her up, all those rich kids are nothing but trouble, they like picking up on poor kids” she snapped
” What are you planning woman, I’m sure you heard our conversation” Nelson said to see her reaction but she acted normal
” What?? I didn’t hear anything…… ” She replied simply
” I know you too well, that’s how you always do when ever you don’t like someone that get close to me, you did the same thing to my old friend Kayla and that’s makes our friendship ended up just like that” Sonia rolled her eyes
” oh please, Come on stop taking it the other way round, I’m just trying to protect you” she said and Nelson scoffed
” I’m going back home”

” I know, bye” he said and left

NIGHT, NELSON’S APARTMENT
Sonia entered her room carefully so that she won’t make any noise
She locked the door after she had entered and drop her worn out button cell phone on the small table beside her bed
She removed her clothes and drop them on the floor, she started pacing up and down in only her underwears deep in thought
” Could she be Helen’s daughter? She looks so much like Helen” she asked herself
” I have to find out,if she is really Helen’s child then Nelson won’t have any other choice but to end any f_cking thing he have with her, that slap is one step of separating them” she added with a smirked
” That witch doesn’t give empty thr_@t, I wish she die that day” she went to her bed and raised it up, she brought out a bag and drop it gently on the floor before sitting in front of it
She opened the bag and brought out a laptop and a phone, she put on the phone and calls started coming in immediately but she ignored them and put on the laptop them started working on it
Her phone didn’t stop ringing from different calls
She angry turn to the phone and saw Evie displaying on the screen, she quickly answer the call
” Speak” she said the moment she answer the call
” We won the contract ma’am” a female voice said
” Perfect, anything else?”
” Uhm yes ma’am, Layla’s Enterprise has finally agreed to sign a contract with us but the CEO of the company wants to see you first before making any deal with us” the lady on the call said
” Bullshit, who the f_ck is he, what’s his f_cking name”
” It’s Mrs Katrina Paulson, Ma’am” Sonia’s breathe hitch hearing that name
” What…. what…. Katrina who” she asked with a shaking voice
” Mrs Katrina Paulson, she is the CEO of Layla’s Enterprise ma’am”
” Don’t sign the contract again, tell her we don’t need the contact anymore” she in a husky voice
” huh?” The lady asked in confusion
” I said tell her to f_ck off” she snapped
” But Ma’am, we will lost 30% of the company if we cancel the deal suddenly, Mrs Katrina is not someone to play with”
“And who the hell are you? Are you now trying to telling me how to run my own company” she yelled
” No…no…no ma’am I dare not” the lady replied with a trimble voice
” Good, Now do what I asked you to do or you lose your job and you know the consequences, if you dare disclose my identity to anyone” Sonia said
” Yes ma’am”
” Don’t call me again until you see my call” with that she hang up
She threw the phone on the floor after she has finished making the call
” Why is everything so f_ck up, why can’t I be happy” she said ruffling her hair
” You will never be happy in your life” she remembered Maria’s last words before dieing
” I’m screwed”

NEXT DAY – D.K HIGH
Brooklyn stroll around the school checking out the beauty of the school, she came across an empty class and walked towards it, she was about opening the door to check what was inside when the door got opened revealing Brain and a girl
Brain became settled trying his best to act normal in front of her
Brooklyn look at them disgustingly and smirking
” What are you doing here” he asked with a sweet smile on his face, the girl arranged her clothes properly and left
” Oh nothing, I heard some weird sounds coming out from this door and decided to cheek out what could be making such sounds” she said and Brain became pale
” See Brooklyn what you saw here is nothing ok, just do like you never see anything” he said in a pleading tone
” Of course, I don’t have time for $h|t like this” Brooklyn snorted
” Did I offend or do something wrong to you” Brain asked
” No” she replied flatly
“Then why do you suddenly stopped talking to me, always distancing yourself away from me and that day I sent you a text to meet me at the lounge, you didn’t come”
“Talk to you so you get a chance to f_ck my @zz hole and upload it on the school blog huh” she snapped and Brain almost fall due to shocked
“Surprised right, I wouldn’t have believe it if i heard it from someone, now tell me what are you gonna achieve after doing all these shits you are planning” she asked giving him a mean look
“What are you talking about, how….. how did you find out?” He asked trying to sound normal but his voice betrayed him
” I’m not a fool Brain and don’t you think is high time you give up already, you already lose the bet” hearing that change his expression drastically
” Stop talking” he yelled scaring her
” What else do you want to get from her huh, you this wicked soul” she yelled back at him with the little confident left in her

He grabbed her shoulders tightly and slammed her back on the wall, Brooklyn winch in pains

” Liar, that is not true, she didn’t do anything, she can never do such” she shouted tears tricking down her cheek
” Keep quiet Ɓîtçh” he said adding more pressure on his hold
” Aarrrghhh, let go of me, you are hurting me” she screamed in pains aching her back to get free from his hold
” f_cking bastard” Brain heard an angry voice and before he could turn and see who is was a punch landed on his face making him to release Brooklyn immediately and another punch follow sending him down
