~BK CONGLOMERATE~
Mr Jones looked at Rose in fright, his face had turned pale as beads of sweat broke on his forehead. It was like he should enter the wall.
“Meet the new owner of BK conglomerate, Miss Rose Bright, the legal heir to the conglomerate” The man said, introducing Rose to other members of the board of directors.
Rose watched them as they all stood up to their feet, a smirk tug at one corner of her lips.
“No….. how can you just accept her as the owner of the conglomerate? There is no d@mn evidence of her as the legal heir! Were you all paid to do this? Were you bribed perhaps?” Mr Jones said with gritted teeth, averting his gaze from member of the board to directors to the other. No one even paid attention to him, it was as if he had turned invisible at this point, their attention was on Rose instead.
“You can’t do this to me! I’ve been in charge of this conglomerate of years, moving it to its peak and because…..
“An illegally acquired property is not yours, Mr Jones” May spoke for the first time and that caused Mr Jones to glare dagger at her.
“And with me is the original will of Mr Lawrence Bright” She added bringing out a file from the envelope.
Mr Jones mouth dropped immediately as the realization just dawned on him. He was fooled by her! Before he could get his thoughts right, the door bursted open and cops came in.
“You are under arrest, Mr Jones Pocker, for murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, property extortion. You are advised to remain silent as anything you say now, might and would be used against you in the court of law. You also have the right to contact a lawyer” One of the cops said and with a signal from him, two more cops moved forward to Mr Jones. An handcuff was placed on his hand before he was led away.
“We are delighted to have you Miss and we promise you nothing but our continue support. Do lead the conglomerate well” The man said and the rest concurred by nodding their heads.

The press kept on during questions as Rose struggled to make her way through the inquisitive crowd. With the help of the guard, it was a little easy for her.
“My life line!” Twinkle called but his voice was drowned admits others causing a slight frown on his face.
“My life line!” He called, a little louder than the first one and this time Rose heard him clearly. She paused on her steps before turning to search the crowd. Then her gaze landed on him, her knight in shinning armour.
To her, it became a world of just two people living in it, just him and her, no one else mattered. Her eyes were blinded to the presence of others, she could only see him.
He struggled his way through the crowd and soon, he was just a few metres from her. Rose took three quick steps and that covered the rest of the distance between them.
🗣OKAY…. WHAT’S GOING ON?
“My life line” Twinkle called in a low voice, Rose couldn’t hear what he said but with the way his lips moved, she could understand it clearly.
“My knight” She chuckled out tears before jumping on him, hugging him as tight as she can, like her life depended on it.
She pulled out of the hug slowly then looked up to his lovely face. Their eyes interlocked, his hands were on her waist and like that, he dragged her closer to himself before claiming her lips.
Rose opened up to him immediately and began kissing him back in the same pace. Their lips met in perfect sync as they kissed passionately.

Rose broke the kiss after a while, taking her bottom lips in, she smiled brightly at him. How much she missed him, his scent, his kisses, his touch, his voice, just everything about him.

Rose’s eyes trailed from Twinkle’s face to his legs and truly, he had just one slippers on. His other leg was barefooted. She couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

“Will you blame me, I guess I forgot it in the cab while rushing here. That shows how much I missed you, I’m glad to came back. I was almost looking my senses at some point” He said with a cute pout.
“I missed you too, I’m sorry I took so long to come. It just had to happen this way, this is the only perfect way to get him and we did. I here to take now, I’m never ever going to leave my knight again” She replied with a smile, tracing his full eyebrows with her hand.
“Promise?”
“I promise” She replied.
He pulled her into a hug again.

~LAVENDER MANSION~
Rose wrapped her hand around May’s waist before resting her head on her back. May smiled lightly before raising her hand to stroke her hair.
“Thank you so much, Mom” Rose said.
“And that’s it! You finally called me mom freely” May exclaimed jokingly.
“I really appreciate all you’ve done for me, I just want to say…. thank you, this wouldn’t have been possible without you” Rose added.
“You are my responsibility okay? I’ve always felt guilty because I did nothing for you. Just take it as, I did what I am supposed to do” May replied turning to face Rose.
“Be yourself okay? Don’t let anyone intimidate you. You are who you are” She added before dragging Rose’s cheeks playfully.
“Should I help you out with that?” Rose inquired looking at the dishes May was washing.
“No…. I think there I someone who needs your help more than I do. You should go and meet your boyfriend, he was almost going crazy when you were not around, I could barely recognize my son anymore. He rarely smiles, he rarely leaves his room, he stopped attending school, he was like a walking dead” May said.
“I’ll go to him then” Rose said before leaving the room. May sighed in relief as she watched Rose leave.
“It’s finally over” She muttered before turning back to what she was doing.
Actually, a week after Rose fell into the sea,May had received a call from an unknown number, it was Rose who called her. She was rescued by a fisherman in the country side who had seen her body fall in the water. She was unconscious for a week and he took really good care of her. Rose contacted May as soon as she woke up and on her request, she decided to remain hidden pending the time to launch an attack on Mr Jones. In a way that he never saw coming.

~TWINKLE’S ROOM~
Rose entered the room just when Twinkle got out of the bathroom, he had only a towel wrapped around his waist. His upper body was bare revealing his abs, traces of water rolled down from his hair to his smooth face making his look extra hot. His wet hair gave him the bad boy look.
“My boyfriend is a demi god” She screamed in her hand
“Did I get you speechless cutie?” He inquired with a wink which sent her heart racing. No matter how long she had spent with him, his actions still made her heart skip beats.
“That’s because you are so handsome” She replied with an eyeroll before walking further into the room. She laid down on his bed and continued staring at him, watching his every move like he was some movie.
Twinkle dried his hair with another towel, he turned only to see Rose still staring at him. He threw her an inquisitive look and she just mouthed a “what” to him.
“Don’t you think you should look away now?” He voiced out.
“Why? Not like I haven’t seen it before” She retorted causing Twinkle’s jaw to drop in disbelief. Did his lifeline just say that?
“If you insist” He said before proceeding to removed the towel he had on his waist. Rose let out a shrill scream, turning to face the wall immediately.
“What was that for!? You should go to the bathroom if you want to dress up, you just ruined my eyesight!” She snapped.
“You said you were okay with it” Twinkle retorted laughing loudly.
“Not like I haven’t seen it before” He added mimicking her.
“Just find something to put on” Rose snapped still facing the wall. She suddenly felt a presence behind her making her breathe unsteady.
“Are you shy?” He whispered in her ears, kissing her earlobe in the process. Rose felt a tingling sensation flushed through her body system.
“What… what are you doing?” She asked with shaky breathe. She turned slowly to look at him, he had a shorts on already. She was just below him, he was on top.
Rose swallowed into nothing on seeing the hungry look in his eyes.
“What is going to happen now?” She wondered to herself.
“Guess what part of your body I missed most” He asked leaning closer to her. He trailed wet kisses all over her face to her neck.
“My B-__-bs” She said more like a question, sounding unsure.
“Your lips! d@mn, it’s like an addictive pull to me. I would really go nuts if I don’t suck on it. I miss the way your mouth fitted into mine, I missed the way our tongues met” He said, Rose could feel her both cheeks heating up to a blush.

“Can’t believe you both are here too” Rose said to Ariel and Nuella.
“We wouldn’t miss it for anything in the world. I really want to see what his punishment would be” Nuella said and Ariel nodded in agreement.
“I’m glad you are back, I have a lot to tell you. You’ve missed a lot but I promise to update you on every single detail” Ariel said.
“And we have a wedding to plan too” Nuella said with a knowing smile.
“Don’t tell me…. My goodness, I’m so happy for you, bestie” Rose said pulling Nuella into a deep hug.
“I couldn’t bring myself to having the wedding without you so I was just delaying it but now, get ready to match with me to the alter as my chief bride’s maid” Nuella uttered.
“At your service, Mi lady” Rose replied.
Ariel joined in the hug and together, they did a group hug.

~INSIDE THE LAW COURT~
The judges adjusted his glasses as he scanned the quiet courtroom, there were no sound coming from anyone, it was as dead silent as a graveyard.
The both lawyers had defended their case while the defendant had a few to say and could only plead for a lesser jail term. Mr Jones accepted the allegations levelled against him.
“And this is my judgment…. due to the evidences submitted to the court and proven facts, I hereby pronounce Jones Pocker guilt as the allegations charged. Jones Pocker, you are hereby sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labour for murder,attempted murder, kidnap and illegal extortion” The judge concluded by hitting his gavel.
Mr Jones shut his eyes dejectedly, there was no hope for him anymore. He couldn’t help but regret his actions. For the first time, he regretted everything he did.
Some cops came over and dragged him roughly, he was shoved roughly into the van before the door was shut. A year drop trickled down his cheek and then another, he soon started crying, biting his nails in regret.

~LANCEY’S RESTUARANT~
Rose rested her head on Twinkle’s chest as they watched the stars together. On remembering the last incident that happened when he came here, he couldn’t help but chuckle.
“What’s it?” Rose asked raising her head up to look at his face.
“Nothing…. I’m just glad that everything is finally over now and I get to watch the stars with you” He replied.
“I’m glad too, none of us is dying okay? Let’s live as long as we can, if the almighty permits, in love and nothing but love” Rose replied causing a smile to linger on his face.
Just somehow, he don’t know how she did it but she holds the key to his happiness. Just seeing her face alone makes him happy, hearing her soothing and comforting voice is enough to send him on cloud nine.
“I’ll be back” he said to her before walking to their table. It is the only table in the top floor and Twinkle’s Dad owns the place so it was easy for him to easily claim the place as his special spot.
Twinkle got a box from the table before going back to her. He opened the box and a customised neck chain came into view. It was a star design as a pendant and the letter “T” was carved beautifully in the star.
“Awwn” Rose gushed, using her hand to cover to face dramatically.
“That’s it…. do you know what this indicates, it means you are the only star in my life. You are my light in the darkness, my ray of sunshine, my mood boaster, my energy charger, my addiction, my motivator and above all, my life line” He said.
“My heart!” Rose said touching her chest like she is touched. She leaned closer for him to wear the neck chain on her.
“It fits you perfectly well like you are the only one who fits me perfectly well” He said. Rose stood on her tiptoe before crashing her lips on his.
“I love you so much knight” She said softly into the kiss.

~LAVENDER MANSION~
Rose slumped on her bed tiredly, it has been such a long day after all. She dragged her weak body to the the bathroom to take a shower.
On her return, she met Twinkle sitting on her bed. She was just clad in a short towel. She ignored his presence and went to sit in front of her dressing mirror. She brought out her face moisturizer and applied it on her face, she also got a cream for her leg and hand too.
“Mind if I help you with that?” Twinkle came closer. He collected the cream from her before proceeding to rub it on her leg first. Rose released a Mõ@ɲ without knowing as she felt his hand moving on her leg. She quickly pressed her both lips together as she realized what she had just done.
Twinkle’s hand worked all the way up to thw tights. He was surely doing something to her as she felt her pûssy twitch due to his touch.
