☆THE ACCIDENT☆
~MORNING, MAYBELL COLLEGE~
Ariel bursted into laughter as soon as Rose entered the classroom. She kept on laughing confusing Rose the more.
“What’s up with you?” Rose asked with a slight frown
“Just seeing you makes me remembered yesterday’s scene” Ariel said admits laughter
“And? Is it funny?” Rose threw her a questioning look
“How can you not know what a b|__wj_b is?” Ariel exclaimed before bursting into another round of laughter. Rose’s frown deepen, she had a feeling Ariel was going to bring that up and then she did.
“You didn’t even ask if I am okay but all you could say is this?” Rose faked anger but that obviously didn’t work on Ariel who was trying so hard to keep her laughter in check.
“I know you are okay, hearing the confession of Twinkle last night, I’m sure he would have taken good care of you” Ariel replied
Rose just rolled her eyeballs turning to the book she just brought out from her bag. It is a novel.
“You really don’t know what a b|__wj_b is? What century are you from girl? And then you are dating the campus bad boy?” Ariel pressed further
“Is it something I should know?”
“Of course! You can give Twinkle a perfect bj and trust me, he would love you forever” Ariel said and that got Rose attention totally
“What’s bj?” She asked keenly, turning to face Ariel
“You would takes his Ç0çƙ in your mouth and give him the best sucking of his life. Make him Mõ@ɲ out your name” Ariel said dreamily
“Yuck! Why would I do that?” Rose made irritated faces.
“Duh! Show him love and attention and his eyes would forever be on you. He wouldn’t even look anyone else but you” Ariel replied

Beryl knowingly shifted to the path Vince was meant to take making them collide. Vince moved away to another lane and she did the same. Vince let out a deep breathe, throwing a questioning look at her
“I heard Ciara broke up with you to be with someone else” Beryl began
“When did we get this close to discuss about out personal lives?” Vince furrowed his brows
“Aren’t you curious about who she loves now? I would be curious if I were you…. who is she seeing? Is it someone better than I am? How good is he to capture her heart? Questions like that should be going on in your head right now” Beryl pressed further
“What are you driving at?”
“Twinkle, she is interested in Twinkle and I think they have a thing together. Rose is just a fling” Beryl replied
Vince’s eyes widened in shock, he just started speechlessly at her and in doubts too, not knowing whether he should belive her or not.
“I’d you are in doubts, you can go over to his condo. I just saw Ciara entering there” Beryl pressed further. She suddenly leaned closer to him.
“Now is the right time to find out” She whispered in his ears

Vince ruffled his hair as he made his way towards Twibkle’s condo. He paused on his steps.
“Do you really believe her?” His subconscious mind said
“I know right” he replied and meant to turn back when his subconscious mind spoke again
“What if it’s true? As she said, now is the only time to find out”
Vince took a deep breathe before walking further. He met Rose just at the door, she wasn’t going in. He was about asking her when he noticed her countenance, there were tears in her eyes too.
Curiosity got a better part of him as he hurried close.
“You think I wouldn’t find out that you still loves me? Well, news flash! I found out and I am here for you now, I’m here for us…..
A loud gasp escaped his lips as he heard the voice, it’s a voice he can recognize anywhere and anytime; Ciara’s voice!
He pushed the door opened without a second thought and the sight that greeted him was enough to make his soul leave his body.
Twinkle quickly pushed Ciara away, breaking the kiss. He was equally looking shocked.
Rose moved backwards with teary eyes, her eyes briefly locked with Twinkle’s. She didn’t even wait for anything else before running off.
Vince threw a punch at Twinkle thoughtlessly and he staggered backwards. Hatred and anger flashed in his eyes as he stared at Twinkle menacingly. Twinkle wiped the blood from the cut in his lips, it is his first time seeing Vince that angry
“I…. it’s not what you think… I mean… It just…. I don’t even know what to say….
“Just keep wh@ťěver excuses you have to yourself!” Vince cuts him off
” I thought you’ve change but I guess I am wrong. Not like a leopard can change its spots, you’ve always wanted her right?”
“Trust me it’s not what you think, there is nothing going on between the both of us” Twinkle’s tried explaining, he turned to Ciara hoping she would agree with what he just said but being Ciara, she just rolled her eyeballs and looked away
“You can have her all to yourself, just know that you are nothing but a monster. There are other girls, what am I even saying? You f-__-king have a girlfriend! Or is she a fling?” Vince questioned
“You should f-__-king hear me out before you jump into conclusions!” Twinkle snapped already fed up of the accusations.
” Did you just say I should hear out?” Vince scoffed loudly
“I don’t want to hear any more lies from you. I’m sorry for interrupting your make out session, you still have all the time in the world to continue with it” He added before walking off.
“I guess you have no choice right now” Ciara said with a slight shrug, the glare she received from Twinkle was enough to send shivers down her spine.
“If you still stay here one more minute, I would forget the fact that I don’t beat girls” He warned, Ciara wanted to press on further but on noting his countenance, she decided to leave.
Twinkle slumped on the floor dejectedly shutting his eyes close, tears rolled down his cheeks without much effort.

~LAVENDER MANSION~
May looked up from the television she was watching as soon as the door opened. Rose entered the house, she looked shocked on seeing May as she wasn’t expecting her to be home.
She forced a smile at May who knew something was amiss immediately.
“Is there anything wrong? Why are you home this early?” She wondered
“Nothing much, I was feeling stomach ache and I just thought that I should come home and rest a little” She lied, she bit her bottom lips as soon that came out of her mouth.
“How are you feeling now? Is it that serious? Should we go to the hospital?” May asked concernly
“I’ll be fine, I’ll be in my room” She said in a polite manner before taking the stairs. May let out a deep breathe staring at her retracting backview.
“I hope you would be strong enough to face the future hurdles, it is really a long and bumpy way ahead” She muttered to herself

~FEW HOURS LATER~
Twinkle knocked on Rose’s door and waited a while for her response. The door opened slightly and she popped her head out. He was not even seeing the other part of her body, just her head.
Twinkle cursed himself momentarily as he noticed how red her eyes were, like she had been crying the whole time, her face was not looking good either. She looked pale like she had been sick for days.
“You’re a jerk for making her cry” He said within.
“Are you okay?” He blurted out without knowing and he hit his head as soon as he realized that.
“Is that what you should say? Is she looking okay to you? You obviously hurt her” His mind spelt it out for him.
He turned to face her again, the remote look on her face made him swallow into nothing.
“I’m sorry, just let me explain. It’s not what you think, she had been coming to me but trust me when I say, I’m not even looking at her direction. I have my eyes on you alone and no one else. It’s you I love, it’s you I cherish, it’s you I want forever, it’s you I want to hold in my arms…..
Rose just stared blankly at him as he spoke without any iota of emotions.
“She kissed me and I guess…..
“Am I a fling to you?” She asked coldly
“Huh? What….”
“You can’t even reply me direct, I guess I am the one over imagining things. Let’s stay away from each other” She added before slamming the door right on his face.
Twinkle could feel his heart shattering into pieces as he stared at the closed door. Tears rolled down his eyes and he squatted, resting his back on the door.
“Babe….” He called with his voice quivering
“I’m at the verge of running mad right now, I’m really sorry. It’s all my fault, I should have pushed her away when she came to me. You mean the whole world to me and I can’t even think of my future without you. I want hold your hands always as we step into the future together. I missed you already, I missed your cute smile, your shyness, your baddie attitude, and your lips too” He muttered
Rose rested her back on the other side of the door as she listened to him. As much as she wanted to open the door and hug him tightly, she couldn’t just bring herself to do it.
“I’m also hurt too” She muttered with tears rolling down her eyes.
“I love you so much, life line” She heard him say in a faint voice.

A smile appeared on May’s face ss she sighted Mr Jones, she moved closer to him still with that smile playing on her face.
“Mr Jones! It’s been a while I saw you…. when was it? You were a personal assistant to Me Lawrence right? I recognized you as soon as I saw you, you never changed” She said with an air of familiarity
Mr Jones let out a deep grunt, his face also masked up with a smile.
“Things happened, I am no longer the personal assistant you knew. I am now…..
“The chairman of a conglomerate” May responded before he could finish his sentence.
“I read the papers, congratulations on that” She added before he could suspect anything
“I guess I’ll be seeing you around much often, take care till then and make sure I meet you in good health” She said
“Alright….
She waved at him before walking off
“What was that? Why was she acting all friendly and nice?” Mr Jones wondered aloud, still rooted on a spot.
“You won’t know what hit you, Mr Jones” May smirked as she walked off, her heels making clicking sound behind her as she walked.

~DINA’ S CAFE~
Nuella kept on sighing as she scanned the entire cafeteria, the day had just been the same as always, with the same routine. There were fewer customers in the cafe too since it’s late already.
“If he were here, he would have been on my neck right now” She muttered to herself with a slight chuckle. The fact that she kept on thinking of him since he left, she hadn’t been herself either.
“I miss him” She added
“Ella” She heard a voice behind her, a familiar voice actually. Her eyes widened immediately.
“Am I hearing things right now?” She tilted her head sideways. It’s Alexander’s voice actually.
“Are you still going to ignore me? Should I just leave?” She heard his voice again making her slap herself really hard, a loud groan followed the hit.
“I am finally going crazy right here, why am I hearing his voice? I think I should go for check up” She said
He chuckled at her drama
“Hey” He called more loudly than the former and she gave her a light tap too. She flinched as she felt a hand on her shoulder.
She turned back instantly, her eyes widened as she saw him.
“Alexander!!” She called before jumping on him, hugging him tightly.

~8PM, FAWN’S BAR~
The bartender tapped Twinkle and that jolted him out of his sleep. He woke up with a start.
“Rose” He said
“I am not Rose sir, I just think that you should leave. We would be closing anytime soon and you can’t stay here” The bartender said
“Oh… thanks” Twinkle muttered trying to stand up but he fell back to his seat drunkenly.
“Are you sure you can go by yourself? I can call a designated driver to help you home. You seem really drunk ” The bartender said out of concern
“I’m fine really” Twinkle waved his hand like he was trying to wave him off. He stood up from his seat and walked away, more like staggering out.
“I wish you a safe drive home” The bartender called after him.

Twinkle closed his eyes briefly before trying to open them back. He was feeling really dizzy and his head was banging like crazy. He stoped on the brake trying to get himself back together but he seemed really drunk.
“Am I seeing double right now?” He asked no one in particular
The blaring sound of car horns made him jolted out of his almost unconscious state. The stepped on the pedal and continued driving.
He was finding it hard to control the steering wheel as he was not himself, he didn’t even know when he entered the incoming lane. Just then a blinding light from a truck flashed directly on his eyes, almost blinding him.
He tried swerving left but it was too late as his car collided with a truck.
“Rose” He said in a low voice before drifting into the world of darkness.
