{THE PROPOSAL}
~LAVENDER MANSION~
Vince’s mouth went to her cleavage and he sucked in it with his hand still fumbling with her B-__-bs. More years rolled down from Rose’s eyes, she never expected herself being in such situation.
“Just stop it please” She said a little louder than the first one but her words fell on deaf ears. Vince applied more effort on her B-__-bs making her loose it completely.
Rose raised her leg kicking directly on his manhood as he wouldn’t let go despite her pleas. Her eyes widened at what she just did.
Vince let out a groan collapsing in the floor.
“Where did I just hit him? What if he is dead? Have I ki||ed someone?” She screamed in her head going closer to Vince who was still sprawling on the floor. A groan came from him again and that made her sigh in relief.
“He is still alive” She said to herself moving far from him. She did the only thing she could think of at that moment, run. She ran out of the house
“Ciara, don’t leave me please” Vince muttered

~GRACE ORPHANAGE~
Nuella knocked on Miss Gracie door with a cup of coffee in her hand. She actually went to grab a cup for herself but then she noticed that the lights in her office was still on.
“Miss Gracie” She called knocking on the door again but she got no reply. She twisted the door and popped her head in. Miss Gracie just say on her seat looking lost in thought, she didn’t even noticed when Nuella entered th office fully.
“Miss Gracie!” Nuella called yet for the umpteenth time banging her fist on the table and that jolted her out of her reveive.
“Are you okay? You’ve been zoning out since that man came, you are not yourself anymore. Is there something I should know?” Nuella said with concern laced in her voice
“I made a mistake in the past but it just kept on hunting me. Hasn’t the Almight forgiven me yet? How long do I have to bear the consequences?” Miss Gracie broke down into sons taking Nuella aback, she wasn’t expecting that reaction from her.
“I’m sure he has forgiven you, you’ve always told us that the Almight is a forgiving. You just have to forgive yourself and move on from the past” Nuella said
“Rose is in danger” Miss Gracie blurted out after a while
“What!!?”
“And it can cost her life” she added
“Is this about that man? Why does he wants her dead?” Nuella pressed further
“That’s all I can say” Miss Gracie muttered burying her head on the table, a way that shows that it is the end of the discussion.

Rose tucked her both hands in her pocket, she had no idea where she was heading to but she just had to leave
“I’ll just pass the night in a sauna” she said to herself.
The dim light in the alley could barely brighten up the entire path but at least she could still tell that someone was approaching. She took a deep breathe as she was already scared. She meant to walk past him but he grabbed her by her arm
“Beauty” he remarked smiling in a way that exposed all his teeth. Rose almost choked because of the smell that came out of his mouth.
“Just let me go” she said trying to free herself from his grip but it was nearly impossible. The man dragged her closer to himself instead.
“Just let her go if you still want your whole body parts to be complete” Rose turned swiftly as soon as she heard that voice. Her eyes brighten up almost immediately.
“Who are you?” The man said still holding unto Rose
“She is my girlfriend” Twinkle said instead moving closer. He yanked Rose away from him before turning to face the man fully.
“Who the he’ll do you think you are?” The man said with gritted teeth throwing a punch at Twinke but he dodged it. Twinkle grabbed the man by his collar and using his head, he gave him an headbutt making his groan. Twinkle landed a punch on his stomach and that made him lose his stamina and fell down.
“You should get some food instead of chasing helped ladies” Twinkle said throwing some cash at the man.
“Are you okay?” He turned to Rose who was watching the whole thing with keen interest.
“How did you find me?” She asked instead
“I was facing my window and then I saw someone leaving through the gate and I followed the person and here I am” Twinkle answered
“Thanks” She said
“Let’s go home” He grabbed her hand but she resisted
“You are not mad at me?” She said more like a question. Twinkle threw a questioning look at her.
“Why would I be mad at you?” He retorted
“Because I have feelings for Vince” She bit her bottom lips as soon as she said that.
“You are not to be blamed, not like you can control where your heart is leading you to. Like my heart is beating crazy for you right now” Twinkle blurted out.
“Huh?”
“Just forget I said that” Twinkle said running his hand through his hair
“Can we go home now?” He added stretching forth his hand, Rose smiled brightly before placing her hand on his.

~GRACIE ORPHANAGE●NEXT MORNING~
Nuella’s face crunched up in disgust as her gaze landed on Alexander, he was leaning on his car with a smile on his face.
“Why do I have to meet with bad luck this morning?” Nuella complained to no one in particular
“What!!?” The smile on his face disappeared without any traced of it
“Why are you here?”
“To give you a lift to the cafe, what else?
“How did you find me here?” She pressed further
“I trailed you and here I am, nice place” He said making her roll her eyeballs. She meant to leave but he chased after her
“Will you just stop being stubborn and enter the car?”
“And where is the car?” She retorted staring at his car belittingly
“I am only seeing a carton of scraps joined together” She added
“What!!? How dare you call my baby a scrap?” Alex yelled at the top of his voice
“Hypertension is real, bro!” She winked

~LAVENDER MANSION~
Rose played with her fingers as May kept on staring at her making her feel uncomfortable. She was even finding it difficult to eat.
May titled her head, she couldn’t help but wonder why Rose looks so familiar.
“Have we met before? Maybe we just bumped into each other” She asked
“I don’t think so” Rose smiled
“You should go ahead and eat” May said
“I haven’t seen Vince this morning and he is usually the first to wake up and get down for breakfast, isn’t that strange?” May added
Rose choked on her meal in hearing the name Vince, incident of last night came flooding in her head making her take her bottom lips in.
“Isn’t your boyfriend coming down to eat breakfast?” May uttered and that made rise choke again, she began coughing. She grabbed a bottled water and gulped down the content.
“Are you okay dear” May inquired
“I’m fine” Rose managed to answer
“So tell me…. When did you both start dating?” May pressed further
“We are not….
“I know he said you both are just friends but you don’t have to lie to me you know. What do you like about Twinkle?”
Rose played with her fingers not knowing what to say.
“He is caring…..” she began, May’s eyes sparkled in excitement urging her to go on.
“Let’s leave Rose” Twinkle said as soon as he got to the dinning table. A sigh of relief escaped from her lips as she stood up immediately.
“We can continue our discussion if you return from school” May said with a smile.
Twinkle averted his gaze from one person to another with a raised eyebrow, wondering what they were talking about.

~MAYBELL COLLEGE~
Rose entered the school hallway only to meet a crowd of students gathering at a particular scene. Curiosity got a better part of her and she moved closer.

Some students exclaimed on seeing her. Strangely, the crowd made way for her and that have her the opportunity to see who caused the crowd. Her eyes widened as her gaze landed on him; Bluey.
He was on one knee with a bouquet of rose flower in his hand, his posture shocked her to the bone.

Rose felt a slight push from behind and that made her turn back instantly, it was Ariel. She winked at her using her head to motion on her to go closer. Rose resisted still standing on the same spot. Ariel had no choice but to push her closer. She was now a few meters away from Bluey.
“Here are some rose flowers just to compliment the event, as your name, the flowers are as beautiful as you” Bluey began

Rose furrowed her brows still confused at the whole thing, she had never been in such spot before.
“Since the first day I set my eyes on you, I knew you were the one, the perfect one for me. I want no one else but you, I want to be by your side when you wake up and I want to be the one to cuddle you in your sleep” He continued
“I want to proudly call you mine and no one else. I love you from the depth of my heart” He said
And then he dropped the bombshell “Will you be my girlfriend?”
Rose swallowed into nothing, she could feel her soul leaving her body. She wasn’t expecting that from him, not from Bluey.
“Say yes!” Ariel was the first to start chanting and the rest followed suite.
“Say yes!”
“Say yes!!”
“Say yes!!!”
Beads of sweat had gathered around Rose’s forehead, her words were stuck.
