GUILT
The trailer was coming at a very high speed
towards her. She stared at it gladly waiting for it
to smash her to death peacefully. Quickly it
came nearer and nearer and… It suddenly came
to a halt.
“d@mn! Just ki|| me at once, irksome driver” She
yelled painfully.
She quickly left there and kept wandering like a
loner who had no where to go.
She was still walking when someone from her
behind suffocated her with a drvgged
handkerchief, making her fall unconscious.

Morning~ Hospital
Ms Debbie drove into the hospital premises and
rushed quickly in the reception room.
“Good Morning nurse” She greeted with a fake
smile to cover up her worries.
“Morning ma’am. You’re here to see the lady?”
The nurse asked with her eyes glued to her
computer.
“No I’m here to see the doctor” Ms Debbie
replied.
“Hold on let me inform him” The nurse placed
the telephone on her ears and made a call.
“You may go in” The nurse said and Ms Debbie
hurriedly went in.
She got into the doctor’s office and met the
doctor going through some files.
“Good morning doc” She greeted.
“Please sit” The doctor offered, removing his
pair of medicated glasses.
“How’s the lady I brought in yesterday?” She
asked anxiously.
“Very well I’m still curious about what happened
to her cause the injuries she sustained can’t be
caused by car accident alone. She has some
cuts which I confirmed to be knives. Can you
explain in details what you know about her” The
doctor said.
Ms Debbie explained everything from the
beginning till presently.
“This is unbelievable” The doctor heaved in
surprise.
“Doc is there any kind of internal injury that can
cause more harm?” Ms Debbie asked agitatedly.
“She has an injury in her head, we are not sure if
it affected her brain but we’ll carry out more test
on her to affirm our suspicions but there’s no
cause for alarm” The doctor said.
Ms Debbie kept hush while nodding her head.

Cleo’s Place
Some men carried Sharon inside and made her
sit on the cushion. Cleo sat opposite her staring
at her.
Soon she moved her body and regained full
consciousness, immediately she saw Cleo she
jumped out of the cushion.
“What the f_ck am I doing here? Who brought
me back to this filthy dungeon. What do you
want from me Cleo, haven’t I done what you
wanted. Why are you still after my life?” Sharon
yelled furiously as her veins stood erect on her
neck.
Cleo smiled, picked up a tumbler filled with
drink from the table and sipped from it before
standing up.
“Take it easy my girl” He said tapping her
shoulder slightly.
“Get your irritating hands off me you monger!”
Sharon cursed pushing his hand off her
shoulder.
“You’re such a little aggressive girl who doesn’t
want to hear what I have to say” He said and
laughed which made Sharon more furious.
“Where’s my mother, I want to see her, at least to
know how she’s faring. You promised to let the
doctors treat her if I complete this last task
which I did. Where’s my mom you son of a
Ɓîtçh?” She howled and he gave her a
resounding and piercing slap.
“If I were you I would stop nagging and remain
calm” He said walking in circles.
“Just tell me where’s my mom?” She said taking
a deep breath.
“You can’t see her” He said.
“We had a deal Cleo” She said folding her fist.
“I cancelled the deal cause you played me, so
deal cancelled” He said to her face.
She gritted her teeth, folding her teeth very tight
almost descending blows on his face.
“You didn’t ki|| the boy, you just injured him”
Cleo said and Sharon’s mouth fell open.
“Don’t tell you’re gonna give me another task,
don’t!” She held her head in confusion.
“ki|| him permanently, I mean ki|| him!” Cleo
whispered into her ears before leaving.
“You have twelve hours, your mom doesn’t have
enough time to live” He reminded before exiting
finally.
“What planet did you come from Mr Cleo, you
should be the devil’s brother, it so obvious!” She
swallowed hard before collapsing on the
cushion.

HOWARD’S PLACE
Violet got her eyes glued to her phone as she
read every bit of details about Nelson’s
condition.
Traces of tears fell on her cheek as she read.
“I’ve always suspected that Sharon of a girl. I
knew she was up to something but I couldn’t
place a finger on it, now my lovely Nelson has
too suffer for her crimes” Violet lamented
folding her fist.
Vivian and Vienna came into the room and sat
on the bed, each beside her.
“Violet we’re sorry” Vienna and Vivian
apologized.
“What’s the apology for?” She asked in
bewilderment.
“We’re sorry about the way we spoke to you
about Sharon, we taught she was a good person
but unknown to everyone she’s a wolf in sheep’s
clothing” Vienna said filled with guilt.
“Now I understand the reason why you
kidnapped her, I was blinded with her pretty face
and fake character. I shouldn’t have disobeyed
you the way I did earlier, please can you forgive
me” Vivian pleaded pressing her palms together.
“It’s okay sisters I knew this day would come
when you both would realize how devilish that
girl is and later come back to apologize. It’s just
that I can’t imagine the pains my Nelson would
be passing through now” She sniffed into a
handkerchief.
“It’s ok Violet, I’m sure he’s undergoing the best
treatments. All we must do is pray for him and
keep our hopes high” Vivian said cuddling Violet
in her arms.

THE HOSPITAL
Sharon disguised herself in a black hoodie,
baggy jeans, sneakers and a face cap to protect
her identity.
She walked in hush into the hospital and met
with the receptionist. She was shown to the
room of Nelson and she went in to see him.
Immediately she saw his conditions she started
crying like a baby.
“Hey, who are you?” A feminine voice asked.
Sharon froze on the spot when she identified
the voice as Bae Pixie’s voice.
