I lay down flat on the floor; thinking about Audrey, i know i should have told her about my sickness but i can’t, i couldn’t bring myself to say it…” Still can’t get my mind off her and the discovery that has just been made known to her.”
I know i have hurt her, i have really messed up by not telling her the truth, blame on me, and i totally regret it.
I know I’ve lost, i have lost her all because of my stupidity; I couldn’t even wait till death comes and claim me away from her.
I lay down flat on the floor, wailing and thinking of my life when the door suddenly burst open, i raised my head up to have a proper glance at the person, an my eyes widen.
“Audrey…” I yelled quickly jerking up on my feet, but still couldn’t make a move.
“I am so sorry my love” i whispered in tears.
She quickly ran towards me and engulf me into a warm hug.
“I love you too Sky and i won’t leave you, would never do that.” Her warm breath whispered to my ear.
Do you remember when i said that i am here to stay, no matter how much you push me?
Well then, i really mean does words Sky, i am here for you, no matter what happens.
Those words still ring it’s bell in my head.
I remember when i found out that i was diagnosed with a brain tumor, I felt lost and broken and that was when i began to ask God for a miracle, a great one that would change everything.
It never came, it never did came, instead when i felt it was gone, it came back in full force which lead to a even bigger brain tumor; Glioblastoma multi forme.
I gave up on the search for miracle, but now… Now! I believe that Audrey is my big miracle, Audrey is all i have been searching for.
“I am indeed happy to have her in my life.”
She helped me in getting settled on the bed before getting something for me to eat. After that, she asked me to give her the whole details concerning my illness which i did without wasting more time.
Later that night the doctor got me discharged and my bodyguard drove me and Audrey home.
“Home sweet home” I watch Audrey announced with a loud voice.
She and Harry my bodyguard got me settled on bed, before Harry left us all alone.
I need you to get some rest, i will go downstairs now and make something for you to eat, i know you must be hungry.
“I am not hungry Audrey, what about you?
Have you eaten, you look really stressed out, you also need to rest and sleep.”
“I need you to be strong for me Audrey, do you know! You are my power source after all.”
She gave out a faint laughter then slumped herself on the bed.
I just want to have a hot bath, then sleep
I truly am exhausted Sky, and you also need to have your bath too cause you smell like a hospital rat.
She mocked pocking my nose.
Well if you think i need to bath then, why don’t you help me to the bathroom so i can have my bath.
Sure! Come on up, let me get you to the bathroom.
I took off my shirt as we reached the bathroom an i noticed Audrey wasn’t really staring at me but instead she was trying all her best to avoid my gaze.
I raised up her head with my hand then gave out a short smile.
“All eyes on me Mrs Sky.”
She giggled and took a glance at the floor before raising her head up.
She gulped down nervously, softly bitting her lips as her eyes was fixed on my body.
Can you help me bath? I am feeling some kind of head ache.
“What!- Oh okay!” But are you sure you don’t wanna use the bathtub?
No Mrs Sky i am perfectly fine right here thank you.
She nod, then switched on the shower.
As soon as she switched on the shower she ran away, as fast as she could so she wouldn’t get wet, but as soon as she ran out i went forward and pulled her back to me.
I would love to have this bath with you Audrey
Please!… I said taking in a deep breath still not averting my gaze from her hers.
She smiled shyly and rest her head on my chest.
I moved back to pull down my short but then an idea stroke me.
I smiled, giving her a sign to come forward in which she did without argument, as the usual Audrey would.
I want you to take off my short for me, i don’t think i will be able to bend down, yunno! My head still aches.
I whispered making my lips meet with her ear.
She shivered making a faint sound the nodded.
She got down quite slowly, it seems as if she was rethinking her actions.
She got her hand up, and pulled down my boxer an her eyes widen, but her lips never uttered a word.
I just smiled at her gesture. I helped her in getting up cause it seems as if she was stuck down there, staring at stuff…
I kissed her shortly then made my hands roam round her body in aim to take off her top.
“No Sky! She growled taking in a deep breath.” I don’t think this is the right time, you need to get better first, and besides you just got out of the hospital.
And who said i was going to make love to you?
You are not? Her eyes widen at my confession.
No am not. I just want to have a warm and quiet bath with you, is that hard for you to do? If it is, please say so i can stop this right away.
She replied nodding her head negatively.
“No please go on,.. I love it.”
I smiled then took off her clothes and we moved into the hot flowing water, that was coming out from the shower.
Kissing and whispering words of love to ourselves; the moment was ‘ just divine.’
I didn’t hesitate to pull her closer to me at every given time.
I needed her to feel me underneath her, to feel my urge, the yearning for her.
I could hear her breathing increased at some certain moment but reduce at some point.

I smiled on hearing those words.
I wrapped my hands around her and kissed her intensively. I made sure to carry her to the wall for proper balance.
