Ariel couldn’t explain why he is having so much
effect on her.

Ariel know she has to tell him what she was
feeling, may be with that he would let her go.
She is in no mood for being rude now or playing

“Please let me go, I didn’t follow you for a bad
reason, I am just scared, am going through all
this, with no parents or siblings by my side to
even see me through” she said as tears came
rolling down her cheeks.
Gavin felt goose bumps on his skin again,
“f-__-k” he cussed, why the heck is her tears
affecting him now?.

Is he even really helping her cause he want to
get rid of the yimo or he is doing that cause his
heart yawned for it and he really missed her.
He really want to hold her deep in his arms right

think of any selfish act again.

wanted to, back then.

“Go down stairs I will be down shortly” he said
coldly backing her.

rushed out.
She wiped her tears as she run down stairs.

Mayor waved Karl as she board a cab to her
grand dad’s place.
Soon she was at the place and she stopped as
she walk to his doorstep and knocked.
“Come in” she heard his old voice.
She slide the door and pull her shoe outside as
she walk in smiling happily, of course she had
missed him.
“Grandpa” she cried and run into his arms while
he just chuckled rapping his arms round her.
“My baby is all grown up’ he smiled patting her
hair.
“Did you come here with any man?“ He asked
stretching his neck trying to eee if anyone is still
trying to come in.
“Oh grandpa, stop it, am shy” she cried shyly.
“When next you are coming for a visit, to come
with your man, you can see time is not on my
side” he teased and she blushed.
“Okay grandpa, how are you doing, how is your
health?“ she asked.
“Am fine, how is your little sister” he asked.
“She is fine,”
“You parents aren’t back from their so called
business trip yet?“ He frowned and she just
nod.
“I never grow your mom to be like this, her mom
wasn’t like this either, what is kids of this days
turning into?, I can see the love for money kept
growing everyday” he sighed and face her.
“We’ve learn to grow with it and we are
adapting already,” she said ketting out a sad
smiled.
“Don’t worry child, you will be okay soon,”
grandpa pat and she nod smiling like a baby.
“Um, grandpa, can I ask you a question?“ She
asked with a gulp.
“Yes, my dear, what’s that?“ He replied.
“What is a yimo, or who is the yimo?, what is it
like?, what is it function?, is it a ghost?“ She
rushed and her grandpa’s eye widened in fear.
“How did you know about that?“ He asked
sharply.
“I read about it in a historical book, and am

explained and the old man hummed.

centuries ago during the juseon period, she is
the third princess, an illegitimate one, she was
surrounded by unloving people but she don’t
care, her mom died after giving birth to her,
making people think of her as an unlucky child,
some don’t even consider her as a princess,
sometimes she do get bullied by the villagers
and at times she stand up for her self, the
people of juseon was lady speechless when she
become friends with hyun-ae, a strong god who
came to settle at a holy mountain behind the
holy fountain.
They were so close that they hardly see her
around, she was always with him, doing what
no one knows.
People were already judging them, but the
elders where fast to clear their thought telling
them, god don’t fall for a human, it’s has more
like an abomination, “a god don’t fall for a
human, he just care about her” said the elders.
Naksu already fell for hyun-ae, but as she had
heard, god don’t fall for a human, she was so
desperate in having him to her self, she never
loved anyone except her late mom, she didn’t
want hyun-ae to leave her one day, so she begin
to secretly quest for a way to make him fall for
her.
The king’s step brother, who always want the
throne to his self was asked to bring a royal
blood for him to have the throne to his self, he
will need to make the yimo, he need to find royal
blood person who is selfish and thought of only
selfish things just like him.
He sent his spy to watch around the palace and
see if there is any royal family who is trying to
take any selfish step.
The spy fund out about Naksu’s quest.
He sent for her, offering to help her.
Naksu didn’t think twice before believing her
uncle, she was desperately searching for way to
make hyun-ae love her.
He took her to the priest, and right there they
took her blood together with that of her uncle
and formed the yimo, after the yimo came to
life,the king step brother got furious when the
yimo chooses to be in the body of naksu.
“I want her body, I can only survive in her body,
for her selfish interest is more than yours, I can
only domain this world with her body, and I can
only help those who serve me with her body” he
said.
The king step brother have no choice than to
keep her hostage.
Hyun-ae find out about everything, he got so
furious and marched to the king step brother.
By the time he got there, it was too late cause
the yimo already take over naksu body.
Her soul was begging to be freed, he have no
choice than to eliminate her body, it wasn’t an
easy fight, the king step brother escaped.
After the deàth of naksu, hyun-ae went back to
the gods realm, no one could tell why he really
left, weather he was pained by the deàth of
naksu, or he was mad for being betrayed”
Mayor’s grandpa narrated.
Mayor was dumbfounded as she stare at her
grandfather speechless.
“And if you say , you notice the yimo is back,
am afraid, the girl Naksu has reincarnated” the
old man said scared.
Mayor’s mind went to Gavin, and his strange
character earlier and she decided to blurt out
what’s in her mind.
“Grandpa, do you think the god will come for
her again?“ She asked.
“that, I can’t say, cause hyun-ae was really mad
at her for doing that to him, but my mom who
was the mountain keeper then said, to her own
point of view, the god seem to be falling for
Naksu then, just that Naksu was too blind to see
it, so if that is true, he might go her rescue
again.“ He explained and Mayor just sighed.
“Grandpa, if you see Naksu and the god will you
know them?“ She asked.
“I think so, am just ten then, I might still
remember, its has been long” he answered.
Mayor quickly brought her phone from her bag
and begin to search Ariel’s Instagram account.
She quickly click on her picture and stretch it to
her grandpa.
“Is this her?“ She asked, the old man wore his
glasses and look into the phone well.
“Good lord, its really her,” he gasped.
Mayor search Gavin’s new account and click his
picture too.
“Is this the god then?“ She asked.
“Nonsense child, hyun-ae won’t be here already,
talk less of having this human time waster, you
people call a phone” he said and look away.
“Grandpa you should really check it, am
serious” she sighed.
The old man looked into the phone and his
glass fall off as his jaw dropped.
“Hyun-ae, dressing like that?“ He half
screamed.
“I think i need new glasses” he cried and stared
at it again.
“Those two has been together since I notice
that in her, I don’t know if she has find out yet,
but that guy..or god has been around her” she
explained.
Mr Leo was really shocked.
If hyun-ae can descend down cause of her
again, then it really meant one thing, he was
already in love with her then,” mr Leo thought
staring at his grand daughter.
Mayor family has a deep secret, her grandpa
seem to be blessed and they shared from him.
He has been living since the juseong age and he
is still alive, he can see ghost too, like wise
them, you have to attain certain ages before
seeing ghost, from 20 years of age, Maya isn’t
up to 20 yet,so she can’t see ghost for now.
“Grandpa, if the king step brother really escape
then, where is he now?“ She asked and mr Leo
sighed.
“Am afraid if all this is true, he will be coming
after Ariel soon, cause he would find out sooner
or later, he is known by everyone and have
people working under him now, he is still in
power like he always wanted and won’t hesitate
to risk a lot to have his yimo back so he can rule
well” Mr Leo explained.
“Am scared already grandpa, who is he?“
Mayor asked.
“He is Mr jang the president” mr Leo answered
and Mayor jaw dropped to the floor.
