She can’t even remember a thing now.
She close her eyes and let her self fall from the
cliff falling into the big sea.
She let her self getting drown in pain.
Her leg wriggled in pain as water find it way into
her nose and mouth
Her eyes half closed, as tears roll down her
cheeks mixing with the sea waters, just as she
was about to give up, saying goodbye to this
unfaithful word.
A strong arms wrap her and the next thing she
was lying on the shore.
She was breathing so fast.
She look up to see her savior but her eyes were
blurry, she blink them weakly as they finally
close on their own.
He pressed her tummy making her pump out the
water she gas gulped.
He did that for few minutes before letting her
go.
Gavin hissed and picked her in back as he heard
back home.
Even if he told her the only way to get rid of tht
bastàrd is for her to die, does she has to try it?,
even if she want to, how can she die again
without apologizing and making up for what
she did to him in the past huh?.
He was sure the police might be looking for her
now, he just make his self invisible as he walk
home.
He got to the house and walk into his room with
her.
He was coming back home to spend a week
with her and make sure he befriend her just like
Ashton suggested, only for him to meet this
mess.
The company offerer him a mansion and a pent
house, he has to leave to one of those houses
but he can’t leave her here knowing it
dangerous, he is here mainly for this, not
because of riches.
He dropped her on his bed as he walk into the
kitchen to make her a soup.
This might be his chance of taking her along
with him to his new mansion.
Or keeping her close to him.
He switched on the gas and hissed.
“After centuries, he can’t believe he is cooking,
cooking for her again!.
He even cooked for her then, but yet, she was so
blind to his love then, instead she went to cause
all this havoc’s with her selfish and greedy
interest.
He just put some ingredients into the pot and
add the necessaries, he covered it and he walk
out to go check on her again.
His eyes roam all over face, his eyes move to
his lips and and her curvy body.
His hand just move to her hair and tucked it
behind her ear.
He picked his phone and dialed Ashton to know
how Rhema is faring.
He is demigod, a deity, his duty is to care for
everyone but among all, he care so much for
just one, isnt that an injustice?, and yet she
don’t even know about it.
He walk back to the kitchen to stir the soup.
It was ready to serve, so he dished it into the
plate and smile proudly at his self, he is just so
good at everything.
He is sure, if he cooks in restaurant, people
might eat their hand and even their plates.
He arranged it on a tray and walk back to the
room.
She is not awake yet, so he just cover it up and
walk outside.
Ashton didn’t pick earlier, so he tried again.
Ashton answered this time.
“Um, doctors said, they can’t say for now, they
can only know if she will survive or not by
12:00am, but they are still trying their best”
Ashton muttered.
Gavin just end the call and drop his phone.
If this enemy was a different person he did have
end it all this while.
But the so called enemy is in his favorite
person’s body, or should he say, he is her, or he
is using her?
He ruffles his hair in anger and confusion.

“Hey sis, where are you going?, its 7:30pm”
Maya asked asked setting the table.
“Am going on a date” Mayor replied.
“Date?, with who?, the guy I saw you with the
other at school?“ Maya rushed and Mayor
hissed.
“Can you just keep quiet and let me speak?“
Mayor gritted.
“Okay” Maya replied sharply taking her lips in.
“Yeah, he is the guy, you saw me with and am
going on a date with him,good luck with
yours?“ She said and head for the door.
“Wait, what?, mine?“ Maya asked realizing
what she just said but Mayor left already.
A knock came on the door and she frowned.
“Am coming” she said as she walk out with her
T-shirt and and a bum short.
She turned the door knob,opening the door, her
jaw dropped as she came in contact with the
person.
What the f-__-k is he doing here by such time?.
“Hey dewdrop” he said smiling.
“Drew?“ She gritted.
“Do you miss me?“ He smiled.
She hissed and tried closing the door but Drew
stopped it.
“Welcome me in peace or should I take it to the
hard way?“ He asked with a sly grin and Maya
felt her heart beat worriedly.
She remember the way her had pinned her to his
self in school earlier kissing her.
She gulp down nothing galring at him.
“Come in” she answered.
Drew smiled and walk in and she shut the door.
“What do you want?“ She asked boldly.
Her heart beat like a war drum when she saw
where his gaze settled.
He was staring at her fresh legs licking his lips
just like a professional pevert.
Fear gripped her as she slowly move back while
he stand up approaching her.

Ariel eyes flipped open and she looked around
the room.
Its kind of looked like hers but its not hers, she
know her room too well, that she could identify
it even when she is asleep.
Who the heck saved her?
He even plastered her injured forehead?
The person should have let her end it all.
She sit up immediately and her eyes landed on
the plate of the soup.
Her eyes landed outside the window and she
need no one to tell her that she is in her
neighbor’s room.
Are they back?, is it that jerk that save her or it is
Ashton?.
She was still thinking when the door pull open
and Gavin walked in.
His eyes locked with hers and he looked away
rolling his eye ball.
He remembered his talk with Ashton and he
decided to play along.
Ariel finally look away keeping her gaze to the
floor in shame
Someone she thought was crazy was actually
right, maybe listening to his crazy talk might
help.
“Hey, are you okay now?“ He asked but she
kept shut looking down.
“Um..yes.thank you” she replied sharply looking
away.
“The soup..you should take it so you can regain
your strength, I will he back” he said and walk
out.
She hesitated before picking the soup.
She took a teaspoon to taste it and her eyes
widened in awe.
“Mmm, its so nice” she muttered and place the
bowl on her lips draining it from the bowl.
“Don’t tell me that jerk, made this,” she
muttered as she lips the corner of her lips in
satisfaction.
“Do god even cook?/ how did thisbjerk manage
to have thus talent?“ She asked again.
She heard noise done stairs and she step down
from the bed.
Her eyes widened immediately as all color of
blood drained from her face.
“Rhema” she gasped.
“My Rhema” she cried running down stairs to
meet Gavin.
It he can save her then he should have save her
friend too.
She rushed down stairs to meet Gavin talking to
the cops.
“Oh there she is,” a man dressed in tattered
looking clothes said.
He seem like q survivor in that issue that
happened earlier.
“ sorry miss, you are under arrest” the first cops
said and she felt her heart sank while Gavin just
glare at all of them with frustration.
“Humans are so annoying”
