< TWO DAYS EARLIER ~ RESTAURANT>
Together, Chloe and Bryan joined Cathy who was waiting for them.
“It’s good seeing you again” Cathy said.
“I wouldn’t say the same” Bryan replied only to recieve a punch from Chloe.
“Forgive him, he is just feeling a bit grumpy. Am Valerie, Bryan girlfriend” Chloe said marking her territory.
“Oh! Nice to meet you” Cathy greeted in return.
“Can we get to the point? Why did you come back and why did you ask for me?” Bryan asked.
“Err, I actually asked you to come see me so we could talk about the past and the reason why I came back is to clear an issue from the past. This had cause a big rift between you and Leo”
“Well, it all began when I found out about my illness a year ago” Cathy said.
“Were you sick?” Bryan asked.
“Cancer and I was in stage two. Have often heard of people dying of cancer and so I didn’t want you to be burdened with me, I asked Leo to help me by pretending to be my lover just so you would h@ťě me. I prefer having your h@ťě than to have you suffering after I die” she admitted which made Chloe feel sad.
“But you are okay now right?” Chloe asked quickly.
“Yes. Am still not safe but am okay and when I got a call from Leo who insisted I come stop Bryan from taking his girlfriend. My thought was that you were trying to do the same thing because of what happen but seeing you two a while ago, I can tell that you both love each other” she said having a sad smile on her face.
“Be rest assured Bryan, am not planning in splitting you two and I wish you the best ” Cathy added before getting up.
“Are you leaving?” Chloe asked.
“I have a plane to catch. I only came to check on Bryan and since he has you with him then it’s all fine” Cathy said smiling at them both.
“Wish you luck” she added walking past them.
“Cathy!” Bryan called and that stopped her in her tracks.
“Take care of yourself” Bryan said and she nodded before leaving the restaurant.
“What are you going to do now?” Chloe asked as they also made their way out of the restaurant.
“Am going to your house, you know we still have a party to prepare ” Bryan said.
“I know but before that, you’ve got to talk to Leo. Now that you know the real reason for what happen a year ago, you’ve got to make up with your brother” She said while he nodded in reply.
“Am going to make sure of that” Bryan replied.
“Good then” Chloe replied.

< UKNOWN HOUSE>
“Is the party today sir?” A guard asked as he walk into the room.
“It is and I hope you all are prepared. We must take Valerie and ki|| her today” the guy standing by the window replied.
“But how will we come in?” The guard asked.
“Don’t worry. The people hosting are friends of mine and so If I bring you guys as a waiter, they won’t suspect a thing” he replied.
“Okay sir, we will start preparing every thing” the guard said walking off.

< TWO DAYS LATER ~ DAY OF THE PARTY >
“Give us an answer! Are you really Chloe and not Valerie?” Judy asked as they all stood in front of Chloe and Bryan.
“Let’s calm down guys and….”,
“Did you know about it ?” David asked Bryan cutting him off abruptly.
“Yes but if you will listen, there’s a perfect explanation for all of this” Bryan replied.
“What explanation? She’s Chloe and have been impersonating Valerie, where’s Valerie? What did you do to her?” Judy asked.
“She did nothing and besides this isn’t the right place to talk about it, let’s go inside” Bryan urged as he took hold of Chloe hand but some Stephanie and her friends pushed her making her fall hard on the floor.
“You are nothing but an imposter! Where’s Valerie? My real cousin?” Stephanie yelled.
“Are you crazy?” Bryan yelled at Stephanie before pulling Chloe up.
“I knew some thing was off when you came back pretending to be a hero but it turns out that you are a liar and thief” Stephanie yelled wanting to hit Chloe again but Bryan pushed her away.
“Don’t you think we should call the cops?” Jessica asked from behind.
“Do that and I will break your skull” Judy thr_@tened defending Chloe.
“She might be an imposter as you’ve put it but she’s our friend! Keep that in mind?” Pearl yelled too while Chloe felt touched.
“You all are dummies blinded by this imposter, am going to call the police if none of you will” Stephanie screamed wanting to make the call but Luke pulled her phone out of her grip.
An argument began which got every one involved and so Bryan led Chloe out of the mess going on outside.
“Wait in here, some of the guards hired for today are at the door, so don’t be scared” Bryan said as he led her into a room.
Kissing her briefly, he left the room and went to join the others.
It was a while later that they all went back to the room which Chloe was waiting but then Chloe was no longer there.
Instead a letter was left on the table and picking it up, he read the content.
★ IF YOU WANT CHLOE TO KEEP ON BEING ALIVE THEN BRING VALERIE TO ME ★
“What’s going on?” Judy asked taking the letter from Bryan to read.
“Has she been kidnapped?” Judy asked as the others join her in reading.
“What’s going on Bryan?” Luke asked.
“It’s a long story” Bryan replied as he quickly brief them about the whole thing.
He was still talking when Leo arrived with Valerie.
“Chloe!” Pearl yelled as she ran towards Valerie enveloping her in a hug.
“She’s not Chloe but Valerie” Bryan corrected.
“Really? They are both alike ” Pearl said.
“I was also shocked when I saw it too but what’s your name?”Valerie asked Pearl who stared at Bryan in confusion.
“Valerie is suffering from memory loss, she doesn’t even recall a thing about herself except for the things we told her” Bryan explained just as Judy and Pearl engulf her in a tight hug.
“Now let’s get back to the main issue here. Chloe have been kidnapped, what are we going to do?” David asked.
“We should call the police” Luke suggested.
“That isn’t what we want. Our plan is to catch the man after Valerie and so Leo and I have made a plan for this, will you guys help?” Bryan asked.
“Do you have to ask?” Luke asked as they all gave him a smile.
“By the way where’s Lucas and Mira?” Pearl asked…..
