” You deserve that”she said before alighting from the car.
Lannon was now smirking at his stupidity. How could he let this fragile woman hit him twice in less than four hours of that day. He also alighted from the car and leaned on the bonnet.
“Are you going to stay like that? You brought me here. Be snappy with what you want to do”she yelled when she saw how nonchalantly he leaned on the car. Lannon walked to her and held her shoulders a little hard, it pained her.
“You’ll shop your clothing here”
She looked up at him”you brought me here to shop for myself?”she asked while Lannon nodded”Fine”she suddenly smirked. She was going to pick lots of clothes he’d beg her to stop.
She dramatically cat walked into the mall and began picking clothes without checking them but one thing she didn’t forget were bras. She kept picking and Lannon shook his head just watching her act crazilly. She had the brain of a child. Once they were done paying, the bags were more than sixty and she smiled like she’d succeeded. The security helped them troll the bags to the car.
“Where do you want to go next?”he suddenly asked her.
She looked left and right before pointing at herself”me? You’re talking to me right?”she asked just to be sure. Like, who kidnaps someone ,then takes the person shopping and gives the person a choice to go somewhere else.”who are you?”she suddenly asked” you ki|| my father and uncle and you do these petty things thinking they would end my grief?”she moved closer to him ” cmon, I’m not that dull to know that you kidnapped for something else. Tell me?”
“Miss steele…”
“I want to go back”she suddenly cut him off and then she entered the car.
Lannon sighed. This girl could actually be driving him crazy. He’d almost broke his resolve. He also got into the car and without talking to her, he ignited the engine and zoomed off. They were both quiet but after a while, Lila knew he wasnt taking her back. The route was different from the one to the mansion.
“Where are you going?”she asked immediately.
“Taking you somewhere ”
“I want to go back”she yelled”stop trying to be nice to me. You ki||ed my father, my uncle, kidnapped me, assaulted me. You’re no saint no matter how nice you’d try to be”she kept screaming but Lannon was strangely calm”i said f-__-king take me back.”her whole face was red from anger.
“Christ, this lady!”
Lila placed her hands on the stirring and began to turn the wheels.”if you don’t tell me why you ki||ed my father and uncle we’d both die here “she was so angry, she wasn’t thinking
The car moved in different direction and other road users wondered what was going on”stop the hell d@mn thing you are doing!”Lannon yelled as he tried removing her hand
“I’d be so glad if i die today along side with you”she gnashed her teeth
Lannon immediately screeched the car to halt and she bounced back to her seat roughly due to the force he’d used to step on the break and she hadn’t put on her seat belt. She began to cough from the pain she felt in her stomach. She struggled to breath.
“Are you crazy? I’m trying to help your assy life. Don’t be f-__-king stupid”that was the first lannon ever yelled at her. He looked scary, he was more than angry.
“Help me by doing what? ki||ing my father, my……”
“I didn’t fvking ki|| no one”he yelled cutting her off.”i didn’t ki|| your father nor your f-__-king uncle”
Lila looked at him, her face stern”you don’t dare call my uncle f-__-king again and you’re a f-__-king liar”she used her finger to point at his chest.”you’re a liar okay?”she hit his chest.” Now,let me go. Let me go!”she struggled to open the car door but it didn’t budge and Lannon held her from screaming more cause he knew she’d pass out soon and just like he predicted, it happened.
He carefully and properly placed her on her chair, then helped her with her seat belt. He ruffled his hair in anger from all the intense screams she’d made. She could make him do something he’d regret. He heard cars honking behind his and he knew he’d obstructed the free passage of cars on the road. He looked at the side mirror and he saw a long queue of cars. He quickly ignited the engine and zoomed off . He didnt go back home, instead he drove to his favourite bridge, where he always needed a quiet time. That bridge had lots of memories. Memories that had formed him into the man he was. He got out of the car to recieve breeze while lila was still unconcious.
