JoJo became as confused as f-__-k, she kept looking at the two, not knowing how to handle the situation.
The rain was still pouring heavily, and cool breeze started blowing, worsening the situation.
She started shaking with cold.
Butter dropped his umbrella and quickly took off his jacket, he was fast to cover her with it.
“I’ll drop you, you need to get outta here before the cold gets worse” he said, taking his umbrella.
He held her hand and started taking her out of the balcony, leaving Draco to stare at them.
JoJo kept looking back at Draco till she got to Butter’s car.
He opened the door and she got in, then he folded the umbrella and entered with her.
JoJo kept looking at Draco through the window as Butter drove away.
Draco folded his umbrella and walked into the rain till he got to his car
He got in and sighed, resting his head on the headrest.
He started feeling pains from his arm, so he checked and saw a small bruise.
He actually got it when he was rushing out of the house, he hit his arm on the door as a result of the rush.
He got a mail and checked, it’s from Viola.

He dialled her line instantly.
“Brother, are you…
“Send me the details RN” he interrupted.
“Are you ok?, You don’t sound so well” she replied.
“Send what I asked” he replied.
“But the target is a lady, Jezebel” Viola replied.
“A lady?”
“I sent her details since daybreak, don’t tell me you didn’t see it” Viola replied and Draco hung up.
Hiking with JoJo, snapping aggressively in the amphitheatre cos of what Butter did, taking JoJo to the hospital, going to the center, visiting his mum, and coming here because of JoJo.
Everything took his time so much that he hasn’t checked for once.
He quickly checked, and when he saw the picture, it’s really a lady.
Jezebel, a ki||er who works alone, she never stays in one place, she changes location every ten minutes.
He finished reading, studying her features before dialling Viola’s line again.
“Are you sure you’ll be able to do it?” Viola asked.
“Feed me her location coordinates, I’ll tail her” he replied and drove down the road.

JoJo’s mind was on Draco throughout the drive with Butter, the only thing sitting in the car is her body.
Butter kept glancing at her every minute, wondering why she hasn’t been talking.
“JoJo” he called, and she faced him slowly.
“Are you ok?, Is it the cold?” He asked.
“No I’m fine”
“Are you sure?” He asked, feeling her temperature by placing a palm on her forehead.
“You’re not burning” he smiled.
“Trust me I’m fine” she replied, and he concentrated back on driving.
“Will you come to my concert tommorow?” He asked suddenly.
“I never go back on my words, I’ll start attending your concerts from now, so expect me” she replied.
“Promise?”
“Promise” she replied, and he smiled, stopping the car in front of her house.
The rain stopped pouring already, so she stepped out.
“I’ll see you tommorow” she said, and he came out too.
“Wait” he said, and before she knew it, he hugged her.
“Butter…
“I’m warm, it’ll help your flu” he said, and she decided to stay.
He’s really very warm.
Butter released her after a while, and he stroked her hair gently.
“Dress heavily to bed, ok?” He said, and she replied with a light nod.
She walked in completely before he drove off.
“JoAnn” Victoria stood from the couch immediately she came in.
“Mummy” she pouted, hugging her.
“How was the concert?”
“Sweet as usual” she replied, and Victoria broke the hug.
“Who’s that guy?” She whispered.
“Guy?…. Oh… Butter?, He’s my schoolmate” JoJo replied.
“He’s handsome!” Victoria winked, and JoJo giggled.
“Stop it mum, we’re just friends”
“Wait… isn’t he the same guy who took you to the hospital the other time?”
“Yes, but nothing is going on… Bye!” JoJo quickly rushed to her room.
“Get a boyfriend!” Victoria shouted.
“Mummy is an handful” she said as she dropped her bag on the bed.
Most of her things are one.
One black bag, one black sneakers, one backpack and even her pop socks is a pair, no money to buy more so she’s always managing.
She took off Butter’s jacket and hung it beside Draco’s.
She touched Draco’s jacket and smiled, but when she remembered how she left him standing in front of the hall, she started feeling bad
Walking to her small wardrobe, she got her only big hood and put it on before going back to the bed.
She got her phone and sighed, the screen has so many cracks already, and it’ll soon start malfunctioning.
“Firefighter is online” she said surprisingly, clicking on the app.

Firefighter went offline immediately, and JoJo left the app before going to her contacts.
She didn’t think twice before dialling Draco’s line, but he didn’t pick her call.
“Is he….mad at me?” She muttered with a blink.
She got down from the bed and her phone buzzed, a message from Butter.

She smiled and replied

She left her room afterwards, walking to the living room.
Victoria is still there, knitting a blouse.
“Mum you can knit?” She asked surprisingly, sitting beside her.
“I learnt it back then in highschool, never knew I can still do it till I tried it earlier, I think I’ll start knitting for sale soon, I’ll be able to make some money at least, to take care of you and cover my loans and debts” Victoria replied, and JoJo made pitiful faces
“Mummy…
“I know you’re gonna talk about getting a part time job next, but I’ve told you several times that I only want you to concentrate on your studies and graduate with good grades, don’t even talk about a part time job” Victoria interrupted.
“Mummy” JoJo pouted and hugged her tightly.
“I love you so much!”
“I love you more baby” Victoria kissed her hair, and Ignatius came in immediately, with Moanna again.
JoJo looked at Victoria, and they smiled at each other knowingly
