Ursula gave a light knock on the door.
“You’re sure this is her room?” Bonnie asked.
“Of course it is, I know my friend’s room.” Ursula said.
“Open up Isla, what the heck is keeping you?” Ursula asked loudly.
Isla hurriedly kept the diary and pictures she was with in her closet. She locked the closet and kept the keys in a bag, which was hung on the wall.
She rushed to open the door but before then, she peeked through the peephole to see who it was.
‘Ursula and Bonnie?’ She thought.
“Hey.” She said immediately she opened the door.
“Hi ” Bonnie responded.
“What took you so long to open the door for us?” Ursula asked walking in fully.
“Sorry about that, I was looking for something .” She apologized and Bonnie frantically scanned the room.
It didn’t seem like she was actually looking for something just like she said. She just shrugged.
“Okay. Well I brought Bonnie here, she needs your help with her maths assignment.” Ursula said and Bonnie nodded.
“Okay, please have a seat.” She offered them
“Nevermind,,, I’ll be leaving now.” Ursula said and left.
Isla closed the door and went over to her. Soon, they began solving the equations.
Few minutes later,,,
They were done and Bonnie was about leaving when Isla asked.
“Thank you so much, you’re really are a genius.” Bonnie said and she smiled.
“Thanks.” She replied, she was about leaving when she stopped her.
“I wanna ask you something but you have to promise me that you won’t get upset.” Isla said and Bonnie smiled.
“I won’t.”
“Vlad once had a girlfriend right?” She asked and Bonnie nodded, wondering why she asked.
“She left right?” She asked.
“Why are you asking this?” Bonnie asked suspiciously.
Isla shook her head, changing her mind.
Not now. She thought.
EVENING…
Vlad came out of the bathroom, already dressed in his pajamas. He looked at Daisy who was seated in a chair in the room, solving her maths assignment and sighed.
He picked up his book which laid on his drawer and walked up to her. He took out a chair and sat beside her and placed his book on the table.
“Mind if we solve this together.” He suggested.
“Tsk,,, I wouldn’t have mind but I’m already done with mine and I’m feeling sleepy right now.” She yawned loudly, rubbing her eyes.
She began closing her books and made to stand up but Vlad held her wrist.
“But I haven’t done mine.” He protested.
“I thought you can do it.” She asked with a smirk.
“Yeah I can.” He replied and let go off her wrist.
She went and climbed her bed, placing her notebook beside her. She covered herself with the duvet and closed her eyes to sleep.
“Good luck.” She wished.
He looked at her, then he took his eyes back to his book. He racked his brain chewing the cap of his pen.
He smiled when he thought of an idea.
“Uhmm… Do you mind helping me with your notebook, I need to copy the questions, you remember I didn’t go to class with my notebook.” He requested.
He already had the question as he had written it earlier on. After the class, he went to get his notebook and copied the question. Daisy had seen him then.
“You don’t need my notebook when you’ve already gotten the question.” She said still closing her eyes.
‘Just ask for my help.’ she thought.
Vlad rolled his eyes angrily and began writing wh@ťěver came his mind. Daisy opened her eyes and saw him seriously writing.
She sighed. “Should I help you?” She asked again.
“I don’t need your d@mn help.” He retorted.

She was about closing her eyes when her phone rang.
Kelvin.
Gosh! She completely forgot about him.
“Hey.” She said immediately she picked up the call.
KELVIN’S APARTMENT***
Kelvin came out of his room and met in his mother in living room, watching her favorite soap opera.
He got to the living room and sat on the couch beside her.
“Mom.” He called.
“Yes Kelvin, what is it?” She asked not taking her eyes off the TV.
“Mom, I want to discuss something important with you.” He said and the mom sighed.
“Can’t it wait Kelvin, I can’t miss this movie, geez! Today’s episode is super interesting. Let’s talk when this episode ends.” She said overly engrossed in what she was watching.
“Understand mom, this discussion can’t wait. Mom I want to go to college.” He suddenly said.
“Kelvin, don’t disturb me because of your jokes,,, I don’t wanna miss any scene in this episode so if…”
“Mom I ain’t joking, I’m hundred percent serious.” He cut off and his mom finally took her gaze from the TV to stare at him.
“Kelvin?”
“Yes mom. I’m serious about it, I want to go to college.”
“But why, not as if I’m against it but I thought you were gonna go when you are assured that I’m completely healed?”
“I know mom, but you are getting better and I have to leave for something more important mom, please.”
“What is it son, you can always tell me.” She assured
“You won’t understand mom, I just have to leave before it is late, please.”
He insisted.
“I wish I could stop you but I can’t. But the thing is that, where will you get the money to enroll?” She asked.
“Don’t worry about that mom, I’ve sorted it out.” He replied.
“How??”
“I’ll appreciate it if you don’t ask me mom.” He said.
“I’ll go to sleep now.” He added and left.
His mom sighed and turned to face the TV.
He got to his room and dialled Daisy’s number one more time. He hadn’t been going through since morning.
He was surprised when the call went.
“Hello.” He said.
