I can’t believe today is my Disha’s marriage, she’ll be living us soon” I said sadly and pallavi smiled at me.

Kanya angaman (arrival of the bride) was done as the bride was escorted to the mandap by her sisters and female friends.

This is it, the ceremony has finally begun. I and Mr mehra where to walk round the holy fire for seven times keeping the four aspirations in life.(Dharma, duty to each other family and God )
(Artha, prosperity)
(karma, energy and passion) and (moksha, salvation).
As the bride I led Mr mehra in the first three rounds signifying duty and energy, while Mr mehra led me for the last four signifying balance and completeness .

Then it was time for (saptadi the seven sacred steps and the vows) and we began.

Saying these vows with her is somehow making me feel guilty.
Will I be able to keep her happy like a real husband ? I asked myself as we sat down.
Then according to the priest i offered life long protection by placing the mangalsutra( sacred thread necklace made of black and gold beads) when I bent to place it around her neck , could feel her raging heartbeats and the sweet smell of Jasmine.
Then applied the sindoor ( red vermilion powder) on her partition.
she closed her eyes tears slowly fell freely , the two offerings signifies the married status of the bride and groom the groom’s

We both exchanged rings and where told to feed each other sweets.i just hope this end soon I’m so tired.

The ritual of aashirvaad was performed ( blessing of the married couple) as woman from the both families whispered blessings to Disha bhabi,then both of them took blessings from the priest, parents, elder relatives and guests while everyone showered them with gifts .
Everything was going fine but I’m still thinking of Kiara’s date with that guy.
IT was time for bidaai (going away of the bride to the groom’s home) as Disha bhabi said her final goodbye it was really bitter Sweet they must love her alot .

We were made to play many games, including one finding the ring game .we were to find a ring In a bowl of water filled with milk and rose petals.

I’ve really been heart broken ,when i saw disha getting married to that arrogant fashion designer,it hurts so much.

Scared is not able to define how i feel right now, mr mehra room was decorated.
