Madam Lucason made to touch her but she
flinched from her touch.
“Don’t you dare.You are nothing but a selfish
monster”Splash said and a hard lump came
down her throat before heading towards the
car.
She sniffed as tears rushed like it was never
ending.
“You ruined my life mom and I hope you won’t
know peace.You told me dad was a drunkard
and abuse you,why the f-__-k did I believe
that?You are the real monster I know of not dad,
you are so pathetic..”Splash gritted her teeth as
the young man in black drove in silence.
The drive was a silent one and Splash kept her
focus on the window as she peered on the
building and trees.The bodyguard reached the
penthouse and pull through.
Without sparing a glance at the bodyguards,she
walked to her room and shut the door.
Few minutes later,a young lady walked to her
door and from her appearance one could tell
she was a maid working in the penthouse.
“Good evening ma,Boss Falcon informed me of
your return and he told me to give you a duvet.
He noticed you didn’t have one since your stay
here and he’s worried your system will be weak
cus of cold weather”The maid knocked on the
door again when there was no response.
“Boss Falcon said you should take the duvet so
you won’t..”The maid didn’t complete her words
when Splash sprang up from the bed and yelled.
“I don’t need a duvet just leave me alone.I’m
passing through h*ll now already just don’t add
to my pain.You said he informed you… then
send my message to him directly.I need my
f-__-king space.
Splash yelled in anger as uncontrollable tears
filled her eyes and she squatted before palming
her teary eyes.
With a hand she grabbed a pillow and threw it
to the door.
Immediately she did that,her screams filled the
room and the maid has no choice but to drop
the duvet on the bare ground and left.
She stood when she cried for an hour and took
her diary.The front cover was coloured blue and
a fake ribbon at the top of the book cover.
“Dear diary…”She began before dozing off cus
of her weak and teary eyes.
Another knock came in and she spranged on her
feet as she rubbed her face.
“What do you want again?I don’t need the
f-__-king duvet just let me be”Splash yelled as the
door creaked open and Nairobi walked in.
“How did..How did you come in?”Splash
stuttered immediately she walked in and Nairobi
smiled.
“Don’t you remember?The clan members has
spare keys to the doors of the penthouse and
am not excluded”Nairobi replied as Splash
crawled fearfully on the bed.
“What do you want from me?”Splash words fell
as Nairobi was forced to laugh.
“What do you think I’m doing here?To cheer you
pal cus I can feel the pain you are passing
through”
Splash looked at her and immediately her heart
felt at ease.
“How do you mean?”
“I’m a victim too and I know the pain of being
abandoned cus I didn’t really get to see my
parents in my twenty three years of
existence”Nairobi said and a tear slipped from
her eyes
“You are an orphan?I didn’t really think of
that”Splash said as she cleaned the tears and
she let out a smile.
“Don’t judge a book by its cover”Nairobi said
before she sighed.
“That’s why I turned to be a tomboy and I will
forever be grateful to Mr Falcon cus he rescued
me from the shackles of pain”Nairobi sobbed as
Splash patted her back slowly.
“Do you know the feeling of being abandoned
by the people you love the most..Is horrifying
but have decided to be strong for Mr Falcon.
Though he’s ruthless but he trained me and I
am forever greatful and somehow indebted to
him”Nairobi said before winking at her.
Silence creeped in as they kept looking at the
walls.
“Your story is so touching.I thought I was going
through a lot but I was wrong”Splash broke into
tears as Nairobi looked at her in awe.
“That was my past you shouldn’t be crying.I am
the one with the burden and I will carry my
cross”Nairobi said handing her a hanky.
“Take this and get rid of your tears”
“Thank you big sister,your advice really helped
alot”Splash said before she collected the
hanky.
“You are welcome but did I hear you right?You
called me your big sis”Nairobi pouted and
started clinging unto her.
“Yeah big sister”Splash repeated and she blush.
“Actually a rude br@t broke my heart and now
here I am happy again”Nairobi said teasing and
Splash looked at her.
“Who?”
“That’s my little secret”Nairobi replied and
Splash pinched her cheek.
Three Days Later•••
The penthouse was busy as the clan members
were engaging in some stuff while the maids
did their job without messing it up.
Pinnochio came from the corner when she
bumped into Razor.Her heartbeat started
thudding against her chest.
“Sorry for bumping into you”Pinnochio and
Razor said in unison and their eyes peered into
each other when Razor turned his face to the
wall.
“Can you forget about the other day?I just
blabbed cus I was thinking of something else
that’s why I left when you kissed
Scorpion”Razor said as the incident flashed
through her mind.
She jerked from her imagination when he
waved at her and looked at his lips as they were
moving.
“Did you hear what I just said?”Razor asked
before waving to her face and she blinked.
“What are you staring at?”
“Oh nothing just got a slight headache”She lied
and he walked to her worriedly.
“Does it hurt too much”Razor asked before
rubbing her forehead and she nodded.
“Yeah and the pain is striking me so hard”
“Should I get drugs from the store cus I think
that will neutralize the pain”Razor asked
pointing towards the next door behind them.
Her eyes widened immediately she heard the
name drug,she smiled inwardly.
“Don’t need them now.I think the headache will
disappear when I get enough rest maybe stress
made me this way but it will reduce
somehow”Pinnochio rapped immediately and
he creased his brows.
“Somehow?You are not sure yet”Razor said
rubbing her forehead.
Pinnochio ignored his words and looked at him
as Razor stopped caressing her forehead.
“What?”
“Can I ask you a question”Pinnochio said and
he nodded.
“Sure I don’t bite”Razor replied tickling his brows
before looking at her.
Just then Razor wristwatch slipped from his
pockets and they both got down to pick the
wristwatch.
Their heads bumping into each other and they
groaned.
“Maybe I was a bit fast,you can pick the watch
yourself”Pinnochio said before biting her lip.
“Okay..”Razor said and got the wristwatch as
Pinnochio started fondling her hair.
She was obviously worried and his scent that
flew over nose when they bumped was enough
to send tingling feelings on her.
“You are not hurt right?”Razor asked when he
noticed her expression and she shake her head
negatively.
“That’s good to hear.The question you didn’t
ask?”Razor asked as a hard lump came down
her throat.
She mustered courage as she asked a question
that baffled him.
“Is anything bad in crushing on a old friend?
Don’t get it twisted like can two humans date
each other even if there’s an age difference?”
“Crushing on a old friend like you said earlier
CRUSH should remain that way cus my opinion,I
think age diferentiate the female gender that I
will love to date”
“Meaning?”
“Her age destroys the plan and the affection I
have towards her.I can’t be way too older than
her cus that’s child abuse”Razor replied
chuckling as she frowned her face.
“What If the guy is twenty four and the cute girl
is just eighteen but head over heels for him””
“Geez! That’s awkward and I suggest they
should quit”Razor cursed and she exhaled
deeply.
“Why the question though?”Razor asked and
she feigned a smile.
“Nothing really but I think age is just a
number”Pinnochio retorted and he nodded.
“Age is just a number.No qualms about that but
that’s a big NO for me,you know everyone has
the freedom of expressing their thoughts”
“Okay got to go somewhere very
important”Pinnochio said before leaving.
Just like that,she left before Razor could utter
another word.
“Age is just a number?”She scoffed when she
remembered the thought of being rejected.
Meanwhile,Razor creased his brows and the
answers struck him hard.
“The questions she asked is related to my age
and hers the more I think of it but she’s going
really crazy if my instincts are right cus I love
someone else”Razor chuckled before walking to
Viper suite.

A man could be seen wearing a black coat and
his character was deadly as he stood from the
kings chair and squat near a dying man.
“That’s what you get for being a d@mn spy,you
should go to h**l and send the message to your
boss.I am not fun to play with b@stard”Lord
Russel said before he shot the gun on his
forehead thrice.
“Next”Lord Russel said sternly and his worker
brought the third spy.
“What did he do?
“Same thing Lord.He was a spy to this suite and
I caught him red handed”
“Dig his eyes and make the pain worth it”Lord
Russel ordered
After he was done with the brutal ki||ing he
collected the register from his right hand man
and he smirk.
“Splash…”He mutter before closing the register.
“She applied to be a worker here then Is
done”Lord Russel said coldly.

Viper Suite**
Razor walked in to find Viper searching for
something and he couldn’t point out what it
was.
“Looking for something?”Razor asked but he
ignored and still searching.
“The red ruby ring,who f-__-king took it”Viper
growled as pores of tears formed his face.
“The ruby ring?I saw Splash throwing it out cus
she thought you didn’t need them”A maid
replied from behind.
“And why the f-__-k did she come to my
room?Who ordered her and gave her the license
to clean my room”Viper growled as the maid
bow her head.
“Send that abnormal blockhead to my room.She
must have grown wings!!”Viper ordered and the
maid bow before leaving.
