“Carly, can you lend me your…” David didn’t complete what he wanted to say when he saw Carly’s bleeding finger.
“Carly” he immediately rushed to her and held her hand.
“You’re bleeding and your face” he said, feeling worried.
Carly shook her head and withdrew her hands from him.
“It’s nothing, I’m fine” she said in a weak tone even though she was starting to feel dizzy.
David wanted to reply but Carly suddenly fell on his arms.
“Carly!! Carly!!” He called in a worried tone then looked down, his eyes caught a huge scorpion.
‘A scorpion?’ he thought before gathering her up in his arms and rushing to the school clinic.
When they were gone, Pinky and Susan immediately came out of their hiding place.
“Why did she pass out, was the scorpion poisonous?” Pinky asked Susan with her eyes wide open.
“I don’t know, okay, I ordered for any scorpion” Susan replied fearfully and Pinky sighed.
“I’m scared Pinky, I don’t want to get into trouble” Susan said in fright and Pinky rolled her eyes.
“We are not gonna get in trouble, as long as we get rid of the evidence” Pinky replied and Susan looked at her.
“What are you planning?” She asked.
Pinky eyes fell on the scorpion.
“We’ll have to get rid of it first”.

SCHOOL CLINIC.
The nurse covered Carly’s body properly with the duvet and turned to face David with a calm look.
“We’ve disinfected all the poison from her system so you don’t have to worry she’s fine now” the nurse said with a smile.
David nodded and went to sit on the edge of Carly’s bed.
“I’ll stay with her” he muttered and the nurse left after nodding.
David sighed and stared at Carly’s sleeping face. The image of how stunning she looked in her dress and make up suddenly appeared in his head and a smile appeared on his face.
He slowly brought his hands to her face then removed some strands of her hair and arranged them behind her ears.
“Even while sleeping you’re still so cute” he muttered and suddenly withdrew his hands.
A scorpion, he saw a scorpion on the floor in front of Carly’s locker earlier which means someone must have dropped it there.
“That Pink hair brat” he clenched his fist and stormed out of the hospital.

Pinky just tipped off a guy that helped her get rid of the scorpion.
“And that’s how to get a clean job done” she dusted her hands and smiled proudly to herself.
“You’re sure no one will find out?” Susan asked again and Pinky rolled her eyes.
“I’ve gotten rid of the evidence already so no one will know it was us, gosh!!” Pinky scoffed and stormed into the classroom.
She sat on her seat when someone came to pull her up harshly.
It was David.
“I don’t want to embarrass you so follow me quietly” he whispered in her ears and began leaving.
Pinky kept struggling till they were out then he pushed her hands off and she rubbed on her wrist, the place he was grabbing her.
“I know it was you” he started by pointing at her.
“What did I do?” Pinky scoffed and looked elsewhere.
“I knew you were heartless but trying to physically hurt your fellow girl? That’s bullshit!” He replied with a fuming look.
“And you’re bullshit for accusing me of something I don’t know about” Pinky replied back and played with her pink hair a bit.
“You put that scorpion in Carly’s locker, admit it!!” David said angrily.
Pinky smiled and stretched her palms forward.
“Your evidence?” She asked with a smug look and David only just glared at her.
Pinky chuckled and moved closer to him then placed her hands on his shoulders.
“You see David, till you have evidence then talk to me” she patted his shoulder twice and tried leaving but David caught her by her wrist.
“I don’t have any evidence but if you love playing dirty then you should start playing with me first” he said.
Pinky smiled and turned to look at him through her shoulders.
“You sound like you’re making a deal with the devil herself, well good luck” she then wriggled his hands off and left.
David angrily watched her leave till she was out of sight.

AFTER SCHOOL★ SHANE’S APARTMENT.
Shane got home and was surprised to see Brad in, looking dirty and rough.
“Brad, what happened to you? I didn’t see you in school today” Shane muttered as he moved closer to him then brought his hands up to Brad’s hair to take off a dry leaf.
“You look like you just got beaten up by thugs and this brings the question I was about to ask you. Where were you last night?” Shane asked.
Brad scoffed and clenched his fist tight.
“Your friend Joshua went too far!! He did this to me then tied me outside and made me sleep with fùcking bats!!” Brad complained.
“Joshua did this to you?” Shane asked and the look on his face said he didn’t believe him.
“You don’t believe me?” Brad asked with a look.
“I mean yeah, Joshua will never do that” Shane replied with an obvious look.
“But he did and guess what,I’ll press charges against him and I’ll sue him for assault, I swear!” Brad angrily went to his phone and began dialing the police number.
“Brad, man come up. You can’t just sue him without evidence” Shane said with his palms on his face.
“Me seeing him is enough evidence!” Brad muttered and the police finally picked the call.
Brad began talking to them on the phone.

Olivia took off her huge sunglasses and she stared at the thug looking guy standing in front of her.
“You must be Olivia Sanchez?” He asked and looked left and right.
“Yes, did you get my orders?” She asked and he dipped his hands in his pocket then gave her a tiny nylon.
“It’s the best we have, it’ll ease all your stress but don’t take too much because it might be harmful” he said slowly.
Olivia collected it from him and tipped him off.
“Thanks but you don’t get to tell me how to use what I bought” she said.
The boy nodded and ran off.
Olivia stared at the nylon in her hands and immediately put it in her bag.
Her phone began ringing and she checked, it was her manager Mr Peter.
“Hello?” She asked on the phone.
“Livy, just wanted to remind you about the pop award show that’s happening tomorrow evening by 5pm sharp. I’ve booked us to sit at the front roll” he said.
Olivia nodded and hung up before entering her car.

JOSHUA’S PLACE.
“Come on Paco, now that you’ve eaten let’s go visit baby sis” Joshua lifted the black puppy up.
Paco barked and Joshua nodded.
“Haven’t seen her since morning too” he nodded and left his room then went to Carly’s.
He knocked and her voice sounded.
“Who?”
“It’s Joshua, can I come in?” He asked.
“You don’t need to ask, come in” she replied and Joshua stepped in with Paco.
Carly, who was doing her assignment, stood up and happily rushed to him.
“You brought Paco” she smiled and collected him from Joshua.
“Hmm” Joshua nodded.
“You must really love him” Carly smiled and Joshua nodded again.
“I’ve always wanted one but didn’t always have the time to get one. Thanks Carl, you know me more than I know myself” Joshua said with a smile.
Carly nodded and continued playing with Paco when Joshua noticed her bandaged finger.
“Carly” he frowned and Carly looked up at him.
“Your finger, how did you get injured?” He asked.
Carly stared at him, not knowing how to reply but didn’t have enough time when they heard a knock sounding from Joshua’s door.
The both looked at themselves before Joshua opened the door only to meet some policemen waiting for him at his doorstep.
