David took Carly to a spa.
“Why did you bring me here, I thought we were going to start setting everything for Joshua?” She asked.
“We will, but we need to look good first” David replied and pulled her to the receptionist.
“We’ll both love to have some massages,” he said with a smile.
The receptionist nodded and directed them to where the massage will take place. Both David and Carly were given their towels and they were taken to two massage beds that were beside each other.
“You two just lay down and close your eyes so you can enjoy all the fun” the woman that was going to give them the message said to them.
Carly and David lay down and closed their eyes and the work started.
“David I feel so good” Carly’s voice vibrated due to the massage she was receiving.
“I know, me too” David smiled and breathed in.

“Sorry the number you’re trying to call is busy, please try again later”.
Joshua sighed and removed his phone from his ears.
“Just where did they go? Even if Carly forgets my birthday is today but David, you!!” Joshua sighed and dipped his phone back in his pocket.
He thought of something and a smile appeared on his face, he rushed out of his house immediately.

Olivia looked at her reflection in the mirror with a displeased look on her face before turning to face her manager.
Her hands were covering her chest and she looked a bit shy.
“What’s wrong Livy, don’t you like your dress?” Peter asked with a slight frown.
“I do but it’s really exposing, you don’t expect me to go to an open event like this” Olivia said slowly.
Peter laughed and patted her shoulders twice.
“You see Olivia, you’re a celebrity so you need to look so outstanding plus this dress is the latest fashion, we spent millions on that” he said with his palms folded together.
“But.. but.. this was not the dress I picked” she muttered and covered herself even more.
“Yes but this one is better Livy, you’re just 18 and you were invited to the pop award show at your early age, it’s something no one else can archive” he said proudly.
Olivia still felt uncomfortable.
“Just think of gracing the audience with your ki||er appearance and who knows the amount of trophies you’ll win” Peter’s smile grew bigger and he looked up.
“Then our company will become more famous plus your father will be watching you and he’ll be so happy to see his beautiful daughter, don’t you feel giddy” Peter said with a huge smile.
Olivia just forced her smile on him and hugged herself even more.

SHANE’S APARTMENT.
Brad was sitting on the chair and playing games when a knock sounded on the door.
“Who’s it?” He asked but the person kept knocking.
He groaned and dropped his game pad on the chair before standing up and going to get the door.
It was a boy in a mask.
“Who are.. arghhh!!” The boy picked him before he could finish and before Brad could recover, a punch landed on his jaw.
The masked boy grabbed him by the hair and gave him another punch.
“Ugh!!” Brad groaned and fell on the floor.
“Apologize to me right now?” The masked boy said and Brad recognised the voice.
“Joshua??” He called like he couldn’t believe his eyes.
The mask placed his foot on Brad’s chest so he wouldn’t be able to get up then slowly brought his hands to take off his mask.
It was Joshua.
“You bastard, I will sue you for assault!!” Brad yelled but Joshua just smirked.
“You can go ahead but just have it in mind that I’ll teach you a really big lesson today” Joshua smiled and matched his face.
Brad blacked out.

A DRESSING SALON.
“David, are you sure all these are necessary?” Carly asked with a worried look.
“Don’t you wanna look good on Joshua’s birthday?” David asked back.
“But you’re spending too much money, I’m just worried about you” she muttered and David smiled.
He wrapped his arms around her shoulder and shook her.
“Well my baby sis, you don’t have to worry about ripping me off, just look good okay” he said with a smile.
Carly elbowed his tummy and he released her immediately.
“I’m not your baby sis, we are the same age” she scoffed.
“But I’m the boy,” David said with a pout.
“And I’m the girl,” Carly smiled.
“I’m taller” David smirked
“I’m prettier” Carly winked and David got distracted of what to say for a second when she winked at him.
Footsteps were heard and both Carly and David turned back to see a woman coming to them with a smile.
“So who should I first give the makeover to?” She asked.
David pushed Carly forward by her shoulders and Carly glared at him.
A FEW MINUTES LATER.
“You can check yourself out now hun” the stylist smiled at Carly and placed a large mirror in front of her.
Carly admired herself from head to toe, she was in a new dress and heels, new hair style and even makeup but she still couldn’t notice anything because she was seeing in black and white.
“You like it?” The stylist asked with a proud smile.
Carly smiled and nodded.
“I love my new looks, I’ll go show David” she replied and the stylist nodded.
Carly rushed out of the dressing room and went out to meet David who was sitting and pressing his phone to keep himself busy.
“David, how do I look?” She asked out loud.
The moment David saw her, his phone fell from his hands and he stood up in slow no with his mouth wide open.
For a moment he didn’t say anything, he just kept looking at her and blinking.
Carly smiled turned to a frown and she was starting to feel slightly uncomfortable.

“David, how do I look?” She asked in frustration.
A silly smile appeared on David’s lips and he began moving closer to her. Carly only took a step backwards when David grabbed her hands and snipped her around.
“Tu as l’air en forme” he said, “you look so good” in French.
Carly slapped David’s hands off her and began arranging her hair with a silly smile.
“Really?” She asked coyly.
“I swear!” David raised his hands.
“I can’t wait for Joshua to see me and give me the same compliment” she gushed to herself and began fascinating about how Joshua would look at her.
David cleared his throat and she came back to earth.
“Wait for me, I’ll have my own makeover and we’ll leave together okay” he said and Carly nodded.
David went in.

Joshua was sitting alone in the pack and looking at the starless sky as he was thinking about a lot of things.
Things like the awards he has been four the past four years before Olivia came to his life and ruined everything.
He began thinking if he won’t be able to get back home again. What if he can’t get back up and get to how he used to be before.
Maybe he should just quit music and acting and do other things that won’t stare trouble in his life but what about that girl.
That girl that’s hoping for him to get back up, she’s the first person to say that to him and he doesn’t want to let her down.
His thoughts got Interrupted when his phone began ringing, it was David calling.
He rolled his eyes and picked.
“Finally-
“Bro, please we need you at the mansion right now! It’s an emergency, mom,mom!!”
Joshua stood up.
“What happened to mom?” He asked.
“Mom..” David hung up.
“Hello!! David!! Hello!!” Joshua yelled out before dipping his phone in his pocket and running off.

When Brad opened his eyes, he found himself in a really dark place and not just that but it seemed like he was tied to a pole.
“Where am I?” He muttered and looked around, then his eyes went up and he came in contact with some bats.
His eyes widened and he began trying to free himself but that woke the bats up. They began making noise as she flew around.
Seems like they were over hundreds of them.
“Arghhhh!!!” His loud scream echoed around the whole street.
