Four nurses immediately rushed into the ward. One of them held Olivia and pulled her back.
“You shouldn’t be here miss, please go wait outside” the nurse calmly said to her.
Olivia was crying even louder.
“Please save my dad okay, please” she pleaded in tears and that was when the doctor rushed in.
She went to the doctor’s side immediately.
“Doc, please my father… Save him doc, please doc save him” she shook the doctor’s hand and cried even more.
“Miss, I will do everything I can to help him, don’t worry” the doctor replied and nodded at her before going to where the nurses were trying to put her father in place.
Olivia finally went out and she kept looking in through the small window and crying. After an hour, the doctor came out and took his nose mask.
When Olivia sighted him, she stood up and moved to him immediately.
“My dad, how’s he?” She asked.
“Rest assured he’s fine, he just had a little seizure but we were able to give him a quick rehabilitation, I think he needs more treatments, seems like the once he’s getting isn’t enough” the doctor replied.
“But we are paying more than enough for his health already. What the hell are you talking about!?” Olivia almost yelled.
The doctor sighed and held her shoulders.
“It’ll be better if I talk to your mom about this,” he replied, still in a calm tone.
As he said that, Angelina rushed in with a panicked look visible on her face.
“How’s my husband? Talk to me!!” She yelled immediately.
“He just had a little seizure and he’s fine, please let this be the last seizure because if he has one more then it’s over for him” the doctor explained to her.
“Doctor please, I’ll pay any amount, just keep him in good shape!!” She pleaded.
“We will do everything we can ma’am, rest assured. But your husband needs more medicines and healing equipment, I’m sad to announce that he’s not getting better yet but be sure that we are doing everything we can since he still has a chance for leaving” the doctor then removed his nose mask.
“I will send you the list of medicines he needs and he’ll have to add to his bills to get more machines for him, come with me ma’am” the doctor said and left.
Angelina followed the doctor and Olivia fell on her chair.
A FEW MINUTES LATER.
Olivia rose up when she saw her mom come out of the doctor’s office.
“Mom what did the doctor-
SLAP!!
She didn’t get to complete her words when a loud slap landed on her face. She brought her hands to her cheeks and her eyes began welling up in tears.
“It’s all because of you!!” Angelina shouted and pointed at her with angry eyes.
“You’re starting to get soft and you’re starting to give up, you don’t want to become a popstar anymore! You don’t want to make your dad happy! You don’t want to bring money to this family and to your dad anymore!!” Angelina shouted and tears came out of her eyes this time.
Olivia began crying.
“The doctor said your father isn’t getting better and needs more expensive treatments or he’d die. Olivia if anything happens to your dad then it’s your fault!”
“You’re the murder!!”
“You ki||ed your own father!!”
Olivia blocked her ears and moved backwards before running away from the hospital in tears.

DOG SITTING HOUSE.
“Josh, can I follow Davis out today?” Carly asked when she stopped feeding water to a brown dog named Mickey.
“Where to?” Joshua, who was cleaning a dog house, asked.
Carly bit her lips and arranged her hair to her side.
“Uhm, somewhere” she lied and cleared her throat.
Joshua turned to look at her.
“You’re going somewhere with David and you won’t tell me. You think I’ll let you go?” He scoffed and faced the dog house to continue cleaning.
“But we are just going out, we aren’t committing a crime” Carly muttered but Joshua heard her.
He stopped cleaning the dog house and turned back to look at her with one of his brows raised.
“Are you complaining?” He asked slowly.
Carly wanted to reply but Joshua stopped her again.
“Right, I’m sorry I shouldn’t be stopping you from going out with whoever you want to go out with I mean who am I to do that” he rolled his eyes and resumed cleaning the dog house.
Carly moved closer to him with an apologetic look.
“It’s not like that, I..
“Can you just leave already, go out with David and come back late at night. Don’t worry about yourself since my opinion doesn’t matter to you anymore” he cut her off and scoffed.
Carly wanted to reply but her phone began ringing. David was calling.
She stared at Joshua before picking the call.
“Yo where the hell are you, I’m outside your dog house” came David’s voice.
Carly stared at Joshua but he was still not looking at her. She sighed and placed her attention back on the phone.
“I’ll be outside” she muttered and left.
Joshua stopped cleaning and went to peep from the window. He saw her climbing on David’s speed bike and hugging his back before driving off.
He scoffed and went back into cleaning, wondering why the both of them are spending time together and ignoring him.

PICK-ME SUPERMARKET.
Carly’s eyes widened as she stepped into the supermarket with David.
“You brought me to pick me?” She asked like she couldn’t believe her eyes and truly she couldn’t believe her eyes.
Pick-me is a really popular supermarket, she does watch celebrities come here to shop and she does see them in magazines but now look she’s here.
“Urgh, I came here to shop with my mom, what is so surprising?” David scoffed.
“I don’t blame you, you are rich after all so are we going to look for a surprise for Joshua?” She asked with a big smile.
“No, we are going to the cloth section to get you some clothes” he replied with a smile.
“What do you know about clothes?” Carly scoffed and rolled her eyes.
David gasped before pinching her nose.
“What do I know? Well look who’s taking, look at the colour trash you’re putting on” he eyed her from head to toes.
Carly looked at herself and frowned at him.
“You’re so annoying, I feel like breaking your head right now!” She poked his cheeks with her fingers and David just chuckled.
“Well little feisty, you don’t want to be late home or big brother Josh will be mad at you” David smiled before taking her hands and pulling her along with him.
Carly suddenly remembered the little argument from Joshua and she bit her lips sadly.
“Tan tan tan!!” She immediately woke up from her small thoughts when she heard David’s voice.
Then she looked around and discovered that she was surrounded with clothes that she wasn’t sure if they were beautiful or not because to her they were all black and white in colour.
“You like what you see?” David asked with a smile and Carly nodded with a happy smile.
“So you are gonna get clothes to wear and I’ll do the picking this time” he added and pushed her behind him.
Carly made faces as she mimicked him from behind.
David began looking for clothes and forcing her to try them on but wasn’t so satisfied with what he was seeing.
“It’s just a birthday party, why are you putting so much effort?” Carly complained as she was feeling tired already.
“Because his birthday is tomorrow and I need to make sure you look great” he replied and brought out a blue dress.
Carly tried it on and they were satisfied with it before they left the mall and went to other places.

NEXT DAY★ UNIQUE HIGH.
Joshua remembered that today was his birthday but didn’t bother too much about it since neither Carly or David or his mother bothered to wish him.
He was on his way to his classroom when he bumped into Olivia… Again.
He groaned inwardly and tried moving from the other side but she came to block him.
“I won’t take much of your time I promise” she called out.
Joshua faced her with a frown and Olivia began searching her bag. She finally brought out a small Carton and gave it to him with a little smile on her face.
“It’s your birthday today and I just want to wish you” she muttered.
Joshua smiled and placed his hands on his chest.
“Aren’t you so lovely, buying me gifts with the money that almost cost my life?” He replied and took the carton from her.
Olivia frowned a bit.
Joshua moved closer to the trash bin, he used his leg to push the lever open before dropping the carton in.
Olivia gasped a little.
“He loves it” he smiled and patted the trash bin.
