****ALEX’S HOUSE****
Dina opened her eyes slowly. She turned to her side and saw Jewel sleeping peacefully beside her.
“My precious little gem” she muttered as she removed strands of hair that were covering Jewel’s face. “If she was awake and she heard me she would ask if I’m her mother and not bestie” She said lowly as she chuckled at her own thought.
Dina turned around only to notice that they were somewhere different.
“This isn’t my room and it is technically not Jewel’s room. So where are we?” Dina thought as she tried remembering what happened last but her head was blank.
She stood up from the bed as she walked towards the door. She was about opening the door when she heard Jewel’s voice
“Where are we?” Jewel said standing up from the bed and Dina gave her a ‘shh’ sign. “I think we’ve been kidnapped” Dina said as the opened the door and they both tipped toed out of the room.
They heard some noise coming from a place that is supposedly a kitchen and the went that direction to see who their kidnapper could be.
They finally reached the kitchen and before their view was the back profile of a guy who was cooking.
“He’s so cute” Dina muttered at once and that moment the guy turned and it happened to be Alex.
Their eyes almost falling off because of shock as they remembered all that happened in the cafe.
‘I thought they were taking us to the hospital? How come we are here?’ Dina thought inwardly.
“I take back my words. He is not cute” Dina muttered.
“You’re awake. After all the drama you both acted there” Alex said and Jewel looked down. Dina looked at Alex and asked “We were supposed to be in the hospital so how come we are here with you?”
“It’s simple. I told them you were my sisters and you both have something wrong upstairs”
“What!!!” Jewel and Dina shouted. Did Alex really say they had mental problem??? NO WAY!!!
“Well you’ve enjoyed the bed. I guess you had a nice sleep. So start speaking” Alex said as he turned off the cooker.
“What were you both doing in Luke’s mansion?” Alex asked gazing at the both of them.
“We already told you”
“You think I’mma buy that lie???” Alex said half yelling and both girls flinched a little.
“Do I look like am stupid? What’s your connection to Luke???”
“Alex, I…”
“How did you know my name?” Alex said interrupting Jewel who was about to speak
“I do not remember telling any of you my name? What going on here? What do you know and what are you hiding?”
“IT’S LUKE” Jewel said before she could stop herself and Dina gulped down her spit.
“What do you mean it is LUKE” Alex asked calming down as he moved forward.
“What do you know?” Alex asked his gaze dwelling on Jewel.
“We…em… we’ve been a fan of Luke since his debut. That’s… that’s what she meant” Dina said
“Don’t lie to me. What’s going on here?” Alex asked Looking at Jewel.
Jewel swallowed her spit as she raised her face to talk to him.
“Luke is dead”
“Don’t tell me that crap. His body wasn’t found and so…”
“I’ll prove it to you” Jewel said.
“How… what do you mean?” Alex asked, his eyes getting red not wanting to believe anything right now.
“Tomorrow, we will return with the proof you need” Jewel said and she walked out of the house with Dina behind her.
“No..it can’t be….it just can’t be” Alex said as a tear fell from his eye
*****RISE FAMILY MANSION (GRANDMA’S HOME)****
“Peanut, what brings you here? Aren’t you supposed to be thinking of how to complete this unfinished business???” Jewel Grandma said the moment she sited Jewel and Dina.
“Besides, where is he???” Grandma asked
“I don’t know. He left since morning and I haven’t laid my eyes on him ever since. And it’s really unusual of him. He doesn’t leave my side. But now that he is no longer around I can’t help but to be worried. Do you think he might have turned into an evil spirit already??” Jewel said as she bit her bottom lips.
“Don’t think such” Dina said trying to cheer Jewel.
“No dear. I’m sure he is just wandering around” Grandma said as she led them inside. “So what brought you guys here this evening”
“Grandma, is there anything that you can give us that would make Dina see ghost?” Jewel asked and Grandma gave her a confused look.
“The thing is that Dina feels left out in our cycle so…”
“There is nothing like that, Peanut” Grandma said
“Ooh, okay” Dina said sadly.
“Grandma????” Jewel called questioningly
“Peanut????” Grandma replied questioningly and Jewel stared at her with raised eyebrows while Dina looked at the duo in confusion.
“Fine. There is something. But you must promise me you won’t lose it. And after the mission you will return it in one piece”
“Yes, We promise” The girls said excitedly
Grandma stood and went to a drawer. She opened it and brought out a pair and glasses.
“With this you will be able to see ghost”
