βI came to ki|| that person myself anyway, so the culprit isβ¦β She trailed off, and the boys all kept staring at her, anxiously waiting to know who the fortunate being was.
Although they all knew Lizzy to be someone who wasnβt serious, once she was, an earthquake would surely occur because she was the craziest in the SILVER CLASS before she left three months ago.
She was the best soloist in their class, and she was loved by all the students. Her act of being unserious endeared her to the other students.
βJust watch me,β she smiled, rolling up the sleeves of her jacket and tying her hair in a ponytail. She bent down to fix the laces of her shoes before standing up.
βHey everyone, itβs your girl, Park Lizzy,β she smirked, introducing herself and triggering memories in the students.
βItβs been three months, and my hair was just on my shoulders, but now itβs fallen down my back. So itβs hard to recognize me,β she laughed, which made MARVINS sigh.
β You all are in a haste? Boring,β She scoffed at the boys with an eye roll.
βFine, letβs do the job, and you get to eat with me, okay?β She tried to hold Maikelβs face, but he removed her hands. Lizzy was in love with Maikel, so she didnβt take it lightly if anyone messed with MARVINS. They were also the best of friends.
She chuckled and blew Maikel a K!SS before walking to meet BEAUTIES.
βSheβs still as crazy as ever,β Nash clicked his tongue and went to take a seat.
βI still love her friendly side. At least she wasnβt angry after getting rejected by Maikel,β Rema said.
βBut she gets crazy when other girls get his attention,β Alistair laughed.
βAnother round of drama in school,β Ian added.
βAnd it seems Maikel likes Devyn,β Valerie shook his head as they all sat down.
βSo, in one word?β Sweetheart smirked.
βMaikel is dead,β They all chorused and laughed, but the laughter died down when they heard a sound. It sounded as if thunder had struck in broad daylight. Everyone turned to see what it was.
βWhy is everyone staring that way?β Lizzy asked as she pulled Elviraβs hair while Elvira had tears in her eyes.
β What do you think youβre doing, Lizzy? β Harriet asked, and Lizzy released a lopsided grin.
β This Γ ss-wipe messed with my baby, so why should I let it slide? I know we are friends, but you know I donβt joke when it comes to my babies, right?β She asked, and Harriet looked at Elvira who was crying.
Elvire sighed as she stared at her twin sister with so much hatred. Lizzy let go of Elviraβs hair and then pointed at Zora.
βMe?β Zora pointed at herself, while Lizzy huffed out air.
βWho else is sitting beside you?β She asked back. Zora hesitated, and with a dangerous smirk, Lizzy went to her and made to slap her, but Maikel quickly pulled her back.
Not knowing it was Maikel, she held his hands and tried to flip him over her shoulder, but he held her hands more firmly and turned her over, causing her to hug him in the process.
Her smile grew wider when she saw it was him. She quickly wrapped her hands around his body, hugging him tightly.
β Jeez, Lizzy! β He scolded as he forcefully pulled her away from his body. Yet she kept smiling childishly.
βYour chest still feels broad,β she muttered, her cheeks turning red. Maikel shook his head and went to Elvira. He took her out of the class, and his brothers followed.
He entered the practice hall with Elvira before releasing her.
βNow, can you tell me the reason why you did it? Or should I call Lizzy back? You know how crazy she can be,β Maikel said, and Elvira scoffed.
β You caused it, Val. I asked for your number, and you gave it to me. I called you, yet you wouldnβt pick up. I texted you, but all you did was view and ignore.β
β Are you stupid?β Nash asked. βOr have you lost your senses?β he added.
β Yeah, Iβm stupid. Iβve lost it because he has been the only guy on my mind for a year now,β She shouted, and the boys burst into laughter, except Valerie.
She frowned as she watched them.
βSee, Elvira, I gave you my number because you asked for it. I didnβt tell you I was going to pick up your calls, and again, your number is stored in my phone. Yes, I gave it to you because you were like a bone in my throat. You wanna know how I saw you back then? A desperate human with no focus. So Iβll tell you nicely today; I donβt like you. You can give your feelings to Sweetheart; Iβm not interested,β Valerie said and started leaving.
β What? Why me?β Sweetheart shouted and ran after him. The other guys started leaving, except Nash, who moved closer to Elvira.
βMost times, I wonder why you behave differently from your sister. If I were Harriet, I would have broken you and rebuilt you. Work on your attitude, okay?β He leaned closer and sniffed the air around her before closing his nostrils.
β I took a sniff at your attitude, and guess what? Itβs awful β He stood upright and finally walked away too.

Devyn raised her head and spotted Lesley at the entrance of the door with red swollen eyes. Seemed like she had cried an ocean.
Devyn left her seat and walked to her. When she was close enough, she hugged her instead, while Lesley resumed crying on her shoulders.
βI waited for you. I thought you wouldnβt come today,β Devyn said in the hug before disengaging from it. She held Lesleyβs hand, and took her to their seat.
βIβm sorry about yesterday,β Lesley apologized while she chuckled.
βItβs not your fault. I know someone might have done it.β
β I know why I lost my memory, but I canβt tell you now. Itβs still me that tried to ki|| you,β Lesley said in her head as she hugged Devyn again.
βShouldnβt we do this too?β Mu Yul faced Blueberry, who furrowed his brows.
β Touch me and Iβll turn you to the beef sauce she made yesterdayβ He warned, and Mu Yul scoffed loudly. He moved his gaze to Devyn and Lesley who were now smiling at each other.
Devyn explained her time cooking with the boys to Lesley who kept laughing. Lesley smiled as she looked at Blueberry who was staring in a particular direction.
β I have this feeling he kinda likes youβ She said, and Devyn laughed.
β He doesnβt even know himself, how will he know if he likes someone?β She smiled, but Lesley didnβt smile back, showing she was serious.
β Wait, youβre serious?β Devyn asked and she nodded. Devyn glanced at Blueberry before taking out the little box Maikel gave her from her backpack.
β Ta-da!!β She showed it to Lesley. It was a gold necklace with a diamond butterfly-shaped pendant.
β Wowβ¦ Did Berry get you this? Itβs beautiful!β
β No, itβs from Maikel. He gave it to me β She said as she held it in her palm.
β Help me with itβ She gave the necklace to Lesley and turned around so Lesley could help her put it on.
β Itβs so pretty β Lesley gushed after she was done helping her with it.
β I know right?β Devyn smiled.
β Youβve fallen head over heels for this guy, Iβm jealousβ Lesley pouted while Devyn held her both cheeks.
β Nash will notice you too. That, I believe β She said like a baby and they both laughed.
β But on a more serious note, what will happen if heβ¦. β Lesley pointed at Blueberry.
β What if he tells you he likes you? Will you give in?β
β Do you like Berry? β
β Heβs really handsome, but I canβt date him even if I end up loving him cos Iβm scared of himβ Lesley replied as she stared at him.
β Heβs totally my style, but Iβll hang in for Nash β She said again and Devyn laughed.
β Iβll be back β Devyn left her seat and went to Blueberry. Mu Yul immediately made space for her so she could seat. She smiled at him and made to touch Blueberryβs hair but he shifted back.
β Iβve told you to stop doing that β He scolded while she chuckled.
β Actually, I have a favor to ask β She said and he stared at her. She cleared her throat before speaking.
β Itβs been days now since we met. And I know how nice I am towards you but trust me, itβs because I care. Iβm not sure, but Lesley told me you seem to have feelings for me. I donβt know how true that is cos I donβt believe it. Do you like me?β She asked and he frowned before nodding.
β Iβm not talking about that type of like. Itβs natural to like someoneβ¦ I mean, loveβ¦? You loveβ¦ Me?β She asked, but he shook his head.
β Good! You canβt fall for me and I wonβt fall for you either. Can you do that for me?β She asked gently and he stared at her for a while before nodded.
β Donβt worry about that, Iβm not even sure I have a heart that beatsβ He replied and she smiled.
β Itβs a relief, but you still have to promise me. Pinky promise?β She brought out her fingers and he stared at them with a confused look.
β Whatβs that? β He asked and she took his hands, she interlocked her pinky fingers with his before pressing their thumbs together.
β Thatβs what we call pinky promiseβ She said and he nodded.
β This isnβt necessary but if you still want it, then I promise β He said and she smiled.
β Thanks, Berryβ She smiled again and left for her seat.
β Youβre kidding me?β Lesley laughed and she shrugged.
Mu Yul moved closer and asked Blueberry what Devyn said, but he ignored him. Mu Yul scoffed and faced elsewhere.
β I thought you wanted us to go somewhere today?β Blueberry asked and his face brightened. He faced Blueberry at once.
β Letβs go to the amusement park tonight okay. I wanna get on those flying things like those human kids β He gushed like a baby and Blueberry nodded quickly.
β Yesβ¦ You mean those big circles that keep rotating right? The first day I went there, I was so scared but now that I remember it, it looks fun β
β So are youβ¦ β Mu Yul didnβt get to finish talking when everywhere turned completely dark as if it was evening.
βSoul-eating beast β Blueberry and Mu Yul said at once.
β Evil Aura β Lesley quivered on her spot.
β Whatβs wrong?β Devyn asked cluelessly.
β You shouldnβt be scared, youβll be fine β Lesley told her.

Whatβs happening?
β Arghh!! β Mu Yul and Blueberry heard the students scream. Mu Yul immediately turned invisible and somehow, Blueberryβs body started to glow, illuminating the class. The students started looking up but he became too bright that they couldnβt look at him.
The man saw this and his eyes widened. He quickly disappeared but not without ki||ing two of the students in the class.
β I lost himβ Mu Yul uttered.
β He isnβt far, heβs still very closeβ Blueberry replied and gradually, he turned back to his usual self and Mu Yul also made himself visible.
β Letβs check out the schoolβ Blueberry said and they both left the class. It was still dark so the students kept screaming while Devyn and Lesley hugged tightly.
The whole school began murmuring, even the teachers were Leaving their offices to know why the broad daylight suddenly turned dark. It was just 9 am, but everywhere looked like 7 pm.
Those in the SILVER CLASS were terrified so the students left the class. Lizzy held Maikel by the arm while he struggled to remove his arm, but she still wouldnβt let go.
He gave up and let her hold him as they left. His group members were in front and he was coming behind them with Lizzy when he saw someone appear behind Nash in an attempt to stab him from the back. His eyes widened.
β Nash, watch out!β He shouted. Nash turned and he somehow caught the personβs hands midair but whoever it was, was a lot stronger than him.
β Hyung!!β The other boys called fearfully and Maikel pushed Lizzy away from himself and she fell on her butt. He didnβt even notice as he rushed to where Nash was struggling with the unknown man and held the manβs hands.
The man turned fleetly and held Maikel by the neck, throwing him across the wall. Maikel fell and blood left his mouth.
β Maikelβ The rest of the boys called.
The man took slow predatory steps toward Maikel and made to stab him, but Nash held the manβs hand. The other students couldnβt help, so they ran away. Lizzy only sat from where she was staring. Valerie and the rest made to take a step toward them, butβ¦
β Stop! None of you must be wounded β Nash cautioned and the man smirked.
β You arenβt bad either. Your soul would only add to my strength. Just finished ki||ing two peopleβ He said and Nash blinked. He let go of the manβs hands and covered Maikel who was bleeding from the mouth and nose.
β Donβt touch my brothers!β Nash said as tears left his eyes, but the man laughed.
β No, Nash. You should save yourself and the othersβ Maikel said as he struggled to stand but Nash spat out blood, staining his face.
β Nash!!β The boys cried as they tried to stop the man from stabbing him again, but it happened still.
β Nash?β Maikelβs eyes widened.
β Save the others β He muttered and fell on Maikelβs shoulder.
