Xavier walked to another section of the hospital and sat at the waiting chair
After learning about Eugene’s pregnancy, he couldn’t help but to feel sad
He wondered if Esmeralda was still alive, will she also be pregnant with his baby as well?
This thought made him sad a lot especially when he knew that she won’t be coming back
“I miss you Esme, I really miss you” he whispered almost at the point of tears
“Uncle Leonard, be careful on your way back home” the farmiliar female voice made
Even if it’s been three years,he could never forget her voice
Xavier raise his head from his pakm and stared at the direction where the voice was coming from
His eyes widened in shock as he saw Esmeralda who was smiling at a man
“Esmeralda” he muttered in shock standing up from his seat
It’s was as if Esmeralda sense eyes on her, as she glance at the direction only for her eyes to land on the farmiliar pair of eyes
“Xavier” Esmeralda muttered in shock
The two stared at each other first but Esmeralda regain her senses immediately and ran towards Xavier happily
“Xavier” she called out in tears as she hugged him tightly
Xavier snapped out of his daze as she hugged him
His eyes weren’t deceiving him,it was truly her
“It’s really you Esme love” he said holding back his tears as he hugged her back in the same manner
Leonard who was with Esmeralda couldn’t help but to be shock

“Here eat the food before it get cold” Brandon said as he placed the tray of meal on the small table in front of Eugene
Eugene didn’t reject his kind advance especially not now that she is pregnant
she pick up the spoon beside the bowl of porridge and started eating
Brandon sighed in relief as he watched her eating
He thought she will reject the food but she surprised him
“Eat a lot, the doctor said you need to eat very well for the baby’s strength
Eugene nodded her head in reply and continue eating
She was almost done with her food when the door burst open revealing Dianne who was trying to catch her breath
“Are you okay Dianne? Brandon asked
Dianne found it hard to speak, it’s like her throat was restricted from saying anything
“Breathe out slowly” Eugene said seeing how hard it is for Dianne to breath
Dianne did as Eugene instructed and felt relief
“Are you okay now? Brandon asked and Dianne nodded
why do you look like you have just seen a ghost? He asked
” You won’t believe what I saw just now” Dianne panted heavily
“What did you see? He asked
” I just saw your si_”
“Were you about to talk about me? Esmeralda gentle voice interrupted Dianne from talking
Brandon froze on spot as he saw the farmiliar face in front of him, the face he thought he’s never going to see again
“Esme…Ralda” he stuttered in shock
On the other hand, Eugene was stupefied to see Esmeralda
“It’s you??? She said aloud shocking Dianne, Ronald and Brandon
Esmeralda smile as she walked into the ward with Xavier while Ronald followed
“You must be Veronica? Esmeralda asked and Eugene nodded
” When did you regain consciousness? Eugene asked in puzzle
“a week ago” Esmeralda replied with a smile
” Can someone tell me what is going on here??? Brandon anxious voice stopped their little talks
” Is this really you sister? Brandon asked not believing his eyes
” Sis?? Eugene thought loudly
Then it’s clicked on her mind that Brandon’s sister name was Esmeralda,it turns out the girl she saved three years ago is Brandon sister,no wonder her name was farmiliar” Eugene thought before facing Esmeralda who was now in front of Brandon who was staring at her in disbelief
“Lil bro” Esmeralda called trying to hold back her emotions
“It’s really you sis, it’s not a dream” Brandon said happily as tears welled up in his eyes
Just as he was about to hug Esmeralda,a resounding slap was landed directly on his face
Everyone gasp in shock
“Sis”Brandon shockingly stared at his sister who was glaring hard at him
“You bastard! Is this how mom taught you? Taking revenge? Esmeralda scolded him
Brandon glared hard at Xavier who was looking everywhere else but not his side
Brandon faced his sister with a pitiful look

Brandon couldn’t complete his words when Esmeralda slapped him on face again
“Ok I never expected this” Dianne couldn’t help but to voice out her thought
“How did you become so heartless like this Brandon? The girl is nineteen_” Esmeralda was interrupted with a soft snoring sounds from the bed
To their antonishment, Eugene was sleeping soundly with quilt over her body
Brandon stared at her with mouth agape
“Is this how pregnant women behave? Sleeping during tense situation” he thought mentally
