CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN : DISTURBING DREAM
Snow step out of her bath, tie some towel around her body before moving into the bedroom, the sun is almost down and I haven’t eaten anything, my stomach grumble and I nod ” I know ” robbing my stomach I stare at the coffin then the bed, this room is already dark enough, why use coffin?
Shaking my head, I move to his closet and pick up a huge T shirt, putting it on I smile because it looks like a gown, stopping in my knee region ” this will do ” picking up my underwear I put it on.
Moving to the coffin I carefully open it, Alucard hands fold on his chest as his eyes are closed, he look dead, how can he even breath in this, bringing my hands close to his face, he caught it before I could even touch him.
I watch him sit up right before opening his eyes then yawning” snow ” when he notice its me, he use my hand to touch his face ” is evening ?” I nod and he step out of the coffin ” I have things to attend to ”
Watching him take off his clothes for a fresh bath I exhale ” am hungry ” mumbling he stare at me ” what, I didn’t even eat last night, am starving ”
Alucard smile ” that’s okay, I will have dinner prepared for you ” I watch him take his bath quick, put on a new cloth but this time black.
Standing up I help with his tie and after that my hands move to his lips, his gaze didn’t move from my hands as a smile appear on his lips ” I want to comb your hair ”
” feel free sweet snow ”
He sit down and I comb his hair gently, its so soft, how can he keep his hair like this ” sit down snow ” his hands move to my waist before placing me on his lap ” that’s better”
” but am done ”
” I know ” his hand move to my lips ” let me touch you before leaving” the moment he place his lips on my neck he withdraw, have seen that expression before, his fangs are starting to elongate ” get off me for a moment ”
” drink from me ”
” blast that thought ” he growl ” meet Leo and get me a wine from him ” getting off Alucard lap I run out of the north tower hoping to bump into Leo, everyone seem so busy, people seem to be training for war.
Arriving in the kitchen I exhale when Leo is standing there ” Lord Alucard ask for his wine ”
” hmm” I watch in amusement as he remove a pan of milk from the stove, set it aside, pick another pan from the cupboard, pour some wine into it and place it over the fire.
” what are you doing?”
” my lord likes his wine warm” he is acting in his usual way, nothing about what happened earlier ” here is the wine, anything else?” Taking the wine from him I shook my head.
” thanks ” I left the kitchen in a hurry to the north tower, warm wine? I stop in the hallway, glance around to make sure I was alone and took a sip from Alucard goblet, warm or cold, I know I have never tasted anything like this, it is thicker than any wine I knew of and has a strange flavor that made my stomach churn.
Arriving in the north tower I lick my lips clean so that Alucard won’t know I have tasted his drink.
He was standing in front of his hearth, gazing into the flames when I return back, he didn’t turn around when I came into the room, he seem to be in a deep thought.
I wonder what’s bothering him.
Finally he turn around and frown, stepping closer, he take the cup from my hand, drink it up then place it on the table ” you took a sip didn’t you?” His gaze move to meet mine and I look elsewhere ” snow?”
” how did you know”
” I can smell it from you” stepping close he crush his lips down on mine, his mouth taste just like the wine, a weird taste, his hands move to my waist, pulling me closer and deepen the kiss.
A knock came on the door but he didn’t stop the kiss, it felt urgent and he isn’t stopping, I feel his fang graze my tongue, I hiss from the pain knowing fully well that I have been wounded and he is drinking the blood without stopping.
Am finding it hard to breath.
” my lord!” The voice outside the room seem to be a male voice, Alucard step back, he stare at the blood in my mouth before running his hands through his hair.
” I didn’t mean to ….”
” why?” I frown ” why do you keep sating that whenever you kiss me ” before he could reply the man step into the room, his gaze move to mine before Alucard.
He bow down ” forgive my intrusion but things are going wrong, Devlin is here to see you and I know is not for something good ” this got Alucard smiling, a smile I have never seen.
” Devlin?” Alucard pick up his jacket” I will meet you there, give me three minutes ”
” yes milord” and with that the man left us alone.
” am coming with you Alucard ”
” huh?”
” am hungry, you haven’t feed me and I want to stay beside you”
” you can’t come with me snow ” Alucard shake his head ” just go to the dining hall, meal should be there, eat and do any other thing you wish to do ”
” Karin and red will be with you ”
” that is nothing to be worried about” He step closer ” I told you earlier, you are the one I love, learn to trust me ” nodding my head I didn’t wait for him to say anything else before leaving the north tower.
Who wants to get into the kingdom affairs with you anyway, all these things are just useless.
With each second that pass am regretting coming here, everything seem to be difficult, stopping in the kitchen I pick up a plate of chicken, refusing to go into the dining hall.
Moving out of there I step into the library, pick up a new book, sit down and start reading to get my mind off things.

I find myself staring at a strange building, glancing around I made sure no one is there before stepping in, the whole place dark, not a single light, walking carefully I climb the stairs before listening to voices but when I step into the room no one is there.
Just a lamp and dead people in a glass fill with water, over hundred of them, moving around I stop when my gaze land on a coffin, opening it I gasp out of shock, he look exactly like Alucard but his hair is dark.
A voice play in my head ” blood ” I stare at the body ” give me some blood ” the moment he open his blue eyes I woke up from the dream only to meet another pair of blue eyes and I couldn’t help but to scream.
Alucard frown ” what do you take this kingdom for Devlin ”
” a place fill with my people, give back what I need and no harm will be done ” standing to my feet, all the seven pillars did same.
” or what will you do Devlin ”
” that will only mean you are wishing for a war ” Devlin raise to his feet ” a war I will gladly give to you but there is no need to be hasty, I will be spending two more days in your guest house, waiting for your answer ” watching him leave I frown then walk out of the throne room, Sebastian behind me.
” how is it ?”
” the training?”
“No, the coffins ”
” they are fine and still hidden probably, no body will be able to find them ”
” my lord?” Red move towards my direction ” you are schedule for a dinner with white tonight ”
” cancel it ” I didn’t stop moving, trying to get snow scent to know where she is, she look pretty angry this morning.
” my lord!” Hearing red sad voice I stop and look at her ” why won’t you stare at me, you didn’t even notice my new dress”
I frown ” how am I suppose to notice that ”
” because you bought it for me on my birthday two centuries back”
” that’s a long time red” I growl ” is they anything else I need to know?” Averting my gaze from her I fasten my step to snow, am not in a good mood, only her scent can place me in a pleasant mood.
” I love you my lord ” red smile ” that’s all ”
” forgive me for not returning your feeling but trust me, you are important to me, I will not let any harm come your way ”
She nod ” I know that ” I watch red step closer ” I don’t mind being your second wife or third milord”
” a lady shouldn’t say that ”
” is the truth after all ”
” hmm” ignoring her I fasten my steps to the library, upon arriving there I stop to breath in, open the door and step in, she is sleeping so soundly.
Moving towards her direction, I bend down to her level, our face one inch apart, I stare at how beautiful she is ” beautiful ” as if hearing that, she woke up suddenly but after seeing my face, she scream so loud that I myself become confused.
