CHAPTER TWENTY NINE: SEPARATED 2
Snow days went on as any normal person life would, from balls to occasion, Beelzebub by her side, sometimes dining alone at home while reading her favorite novels.
I even made a new friend, her name Jane, with long dark hair and brown eyes, her height average but she is quite kind.
They all have a happy ending, every one of them, even when the trails was tough, they walk through it but its all fiction, when all these happen in real life, things become scary, so scary that I had to chicken out.
Its been three weeks, three weeks without going to Alucard castle, the storm already stop but my fear didn’t, Elis death always appear in my head, how Alucard ki||ed her without a single thought in his mind.
He can do same to me, he can just drain all my blood without a second thought but then why didn’t he do that when I was asleep, if he wanted to ki|| me, he would have done it the moment he took my blood the first time but he didn’t.
Should I keep fighting for this love that has dangers all over it or give up and seek a better life, I can go to London, take a job and begin my new life but the question will remain.
What if I work things with Alucard, what if the man I love start to love me back, we might live happy together.
I should stop acting like human, am a confessor, I make people tell me things they wish to hide and I can put them under my spell.
That is who I am while Alucard is just someone that need blood to survive, why am I feeling disgusted by that?
The sound of the door bell ringing made me stand to my feet and move towards it, opening the door I smile at Beelzebub ” my lord ”
” you’re still up with formalities ” he smile ” may I come in, I brought dinner”
” of course ” stepping aside he walk in, drop the food on the table while I shut the door ” what brings you here my lord”
” I came to see you snow ” he sit on the couch in the living room ” I also will like to court you into marriage ”
” pardon ”
” may I court you ” his gaze move to meet my shock expression, I knew this time will come but never expected it to be this soon and to top it am in my night dress ” I mean I just saw you in your night wear and….” He clear his throat averting his gaze ” is transparent ”
Oh yes, Alucard love seeing me in transparent night dress that’s why I have so many, I know for a fact that if it was Alucard sitting right there he won’t avert his gaze, instead he will lick his lips and ask me to sit on his lap.
I couldn’t help but smile at that thought, lord Alucard has never been a gentleman, he is not a good man but a bad one, loving him I knew what I was getting myself into.
I have really missed him, his silly jokes, the way he make me blush, his rule of me not biting my lips, I should always ask him to bite it for me.
To cut it short, Alucard is one naughty man.
” so ” Beelzebub drag on” will you permit me to court you ”
” court me?”
” yes milady” his cheek stain a little, is he being embarrassed? Well I have seen him blush lot of times but I saw Alucard blush just once and I know for a fact that it was his first time to blush ” you know I love you and will wish to marry you so…what do you say ” this time he stand on his feet and move towards my direction.
Stopping he hold my hands in his ” what do you say snow ”
” I need to see lord Alucard ”
” what?” He look confused and I smile then hold his hand.
” thank you Beelzebub, you made me realize my feelings, you made me realize that I can make this work, that I can love no other person expect him ”
” you’re kidding me snow ” he frown ” I came here with the hope you will accept my proposal not decline, we have been with each other for a long time now , you have gotten to know me, why won’t you stay with me ”
” because I love Alucard, staying with you will be wrong”
” I don’t care ”
” I do care Beelzebub ” I step back, letting go of his hands ” you’re a good man and trust me am grateful for this weeks I spent with you but I can’t hurt you anymore and I need to leave right now ”
” snow McLeod ”
” forgive me Beelzebub but please, see yourself out, I need to get changed!” I yell while running upstairs to my room, I didn’t bother to dress decent, I put on a trouser, a little too big but I care less and then I put on a short sleeves black top.
Tie my hair into a ponytail and then am out of my room, the house, on a horse and towards Alucard castle, the night seem scary but I won’t let that scare me, sounds of owl made me hit the horse to move faster.
Am still confuse why Alucard castle is far from town, I just hope no wolfs meet up with me this time around.
Arriving in the castle, I tie my horse and step in, the place feels odd and lonely, no single light in the building, I think something is off, running into the castle I check every possible room, library, piano, kitchen, living room ” Leo!!!!” I scream but no answer.
” Alucard!!!” Still no answer, I stare at the east tower, inhale and step in, I move around in the whole room but found no one, not Alucard nor Leo.
Stepping into his room I stare at the cloth on the floor, if I remember correctly this is the cloth he wore while he ki|| Elis, the blood stain is still there.
I stare at the room, dust every where which made me realize that no body have been in here, the room has been discarded, Alucard is no longer here.
He left.
I couldn’t hold myself so I fall on the bed, my heart trembling, am too late, is this how it end? I won’t get to see him anymore? I have lost him?
No, I was being foolish thinking Alucard will try ki||ing me but that was wrong, he can’t just leave, he promised me six months together.
Promise are not to be broken ” you owe me six month” I will find you, I promise you that, I must find you, I might just get clues if I look around in here, clues of where he might be right now.
I just need to find him.
CHAPTER THIRTY: SEPARATED 3
Alucard frown, its been three weeks and nothing have been done concerning all these ” I do not approve of this nonsense Sebastian ” I growl at the first pillar of transviel ” I gave you a single instruction, gather enough people to rebuild this d@mn castle, the gates ”
” my lord….”
I interject, not giving him the opportunity to talk ” you do not talk unless I ask you to, any enemy of this kingdom can just break down the walls and why the hell is the people suffering this much, is they no enough supply of water ?”
Travin the second pillar mumble ” a deadly sea monster has poison our only source of drinking water my lord, the people are falling ill and dying”
” and why haven’t any one ki||ed this monster ”
Sebastian reply ” varin the third pillar tried doing so but got seriously injured, I believe its strength is too powerful for us to beat my lord ”
” hmm” I nod my head ” I will see to that later then but now, tell me about the delay in the food supply, the villagers are complaining of not enough food to survive ”
” am afraid we do not have much hunters anymore my lord”
” explain”
” during the years you left, different horrible monsters have appear from the evil forest, ki||ing our hunters, it appears they were also hunting, the vampires body weren’t even found, we believe they were eaten”
I frown ” so you are telling me that the male population has decrease ?”
” yes my lord”
” I see ” I mumble, my hands tapping the arm of my chair, if we do not have enough army and hunters my kingdom won’t survive, and very soon it will be difficult for us to hunt because of how close winter is, if I had known things were this serious, I should have returned long ago ” I think I have a way out of it ”
” tell us my lord ” varin the third pillar mumble, eagerness evident in his voice, they call want this kingdom to go back to its glorious days.
” women always complained about being treated as weak vessels right ”
” yes my lord ” they all agreed
” since we are lacking in men, I want Travin and Sebastian to go into town, take any girl within eighteen and above to the palace for training”
” my lord ” Karin the fourth pillar blink her eyes ” I do not understand you my lord ”
I smile ” I believe we need more armies and of course, if they are any young men, they are to bring them, some will be taken to the forest for hunting which will be trained by you and varin ” I mumble ” others which will be trained for war will be under Sebastian and Travin ”
” my lord ” Nebo the fifth pillar frown ” I think you have forgotten about us, we too will like to get busy ”
” of course, why will I forget about you three, Nebo and Sherpas will go into disguise in the xin kingdom, I have heard they prepared what is called their ultimate weapon, that will be used in wiping this kingdom clean, I need you two to go in there, find out if its true”
” and if its true?” Sherpas the sixth pillar ask looking eager for action.
” destroy it ” I smile then look at the seventh pillar, the one which is always quite, the one I love to keep at my side ” you know what to do red ” she smile.
” of course my lord ” her cheek redden ” if you say it like that I get all red ” she cover her face and I fake a laugh which seem real to most of them.
” I think you always favor red my lord ” Karin mumble with jealousy ” why don’t you keep me at your side too ”
” I think you will get bored Karin” I stand to my feet ” meeting is over, start up with your duties immediately ”
” yes my lord ” they all bow their head as I step out of the meeting hall.
” red, tell me about this alliance I have to engage in” her shy expression vanish the moment I talk about her work, she is always like this, so serious when in duty, h@ťěs when things goes wrong, trying so hard to be perfect.
Stopping in the hallway I stare at the gardens ” the vinrix king has asked for you to marry his eldest daughter bearing the name of white ”
” white? ”
” yes my lord ”
” what an odd name”
” the rumor says that she has a hair that is white as snow”
” snow ” I clench my hand, for some reason I keep hearing that name, day after day ” what again”
” her eyes red like red crystals, lips in a shade of pink….she is the beauty of their kingdom ” red mumble ” the lord said he will be grateful for you to link the kingdoms together ”
” what do you think about this red ”
” in my opinion I will like to keep you all to myself ” she smile ” but then this alliance will be good for this kingdom since were are starting from scratch, the vinrix kingdom is known to have the strongest army, am sure this will be of great aid ”
” and you Karin ” I mumble ” I know you are hiding behind those pillar, what do you think of this alliance ”
” are you asking base on my view my lord ” she step closer, placing her hands around my arm and stepping closer till her bosom press against my arm ” marry me instead ”
” always carefree as always Karin but surely a lady shouldn’t let one feel her bosom in such a way ”
” I don’t mind if is you my lord ” she blush making red do the same thing to my other arm.
” if you marry her you have to marry me too my lord ” red stammer, not use to such words.
The sun seem to be getting hot and the lotion is getting off due to sweat, I need to go to bed and honestly when will these girls stop fighting about who am to marry.
The only person I can think of marrying is snow ” enough, I need some sleep, Karin go back to your duty and red, do wh@ťěver you want ” Karen $h00t red a glare before turning around and leaving.
” my lord ” red look up to me, her green eyes glittering, of course I have always kiss her forehead before going to bed, she is definitely use to it, I mean I did train her right from birth after founding her in a desert.
” indeed ” I lean close and kiss her forehead ” goodnight red ” turning around I move to my chamber, which is located in the north tower.
The moment I lay in my coffin I fall into my dead like slumber as the darkness engulf me once again.
