They glanced at her again, urging her to go on. “They want your blood!” She said, maintaining eye contact with Milena.
“Shaman (What?)” Nora gasped, “What do you mean?” Milena asked. “I think they need it to open the seal of the dark princess just like Sandra said.” Brittany replied.
“How do we stop them?” Nora asked, “I really don’t know about that, I suggest we don’t make them take your blood by all means.” Brittany answered.
Ellen rubbed her neckline, troubles were growing intense, she hasn’t even had the time to learn her sorceress powers. “You spoke Chinese just now.” Kristen referred to Nora.
Nora smiled beautifully. “My mother was Chinese so, I learned some from her but it was just for a short time.” She hung her head low at the last sentence and they understood immediately, her mother is already dead.
“I’m sorry about that, don’t think about it.” Christian rubbed her back and she rested her head on his shoulders. “I need to get a boyfriend too.” Brittany yawned, “I need to get a mate too.” Kristen giggled.
They stood up slowly from the cafeteria, they have one more class before going home as their detention period ended before their lunch time.
“I can’t wait to leave school.” Brittany yawned again, “We haven’t even used up to a year yet and our course is two years.” Ellen laughed and they all laughed all together.
Brittany winced when she collided with someone and she rubbed her forehead slightly. “You should watch where you are going!” The girl spat.
Brittany stood rigid when she looked at the girl as her mouth was partly open. “Beverley??” She whispered slowly and the girl looked at her weirdly.
She wanted to walk off but Brittany pulled her hands back. “Hello! You were supposed to apologise and I don’t care how you know my name but please, f-__-k off!” She gritted.
Brittany smiled sadly, she has changed. “Beverley?? It’s me Brittany, your sister.” She said and she could see a flash of emotion wave through the girl’s eyes but was immediately replaced into a frown.
She pulled her hand away angrily. “Look, my sister is long gone and I heard she was abducted into some palace, I’ve not even seen her in eight years.” Beverley said.
Brittany wanted to touch her cheek but Beverley withdrew her face. “Two pink ears has a white rabbit, mama beats it while I chose to tame it, he ran helter skelter when I want to touch it, oh please bring your ears I want to fan it.” Brittany sang lowly.
Beverley gasped staggering backwards, looking intently at Brittany who was all on smiles. “Why didn’t you look for me?” Beverley frowned again.
Brittany hung her head for a few minutes. “After you were taken, our mother went struck with blindness and I did almost everything but I made sure I took care of your favorite rabbit.” She tried not to cry.
Beverley looked away. “You were our mother’s favorite because I had some supernatural power but I never forgot you, I always wished I would have my sister back.” Brittany says.
Beverley bursted into tears as she threw herself on Brittany who wasn’t surprised as she hugged her back. “You are the reason I am still living, I was tortured but I didn’t break completely because I always thought of you.” Beverley cried.
Brittany choked on her tears, she was supposed to be consoling her sister. “It’s okay now that I have found you.” She cooed, rubbing Beverley’s short hair.
She pulled her away and they smiled lovingly at themselves, thank goodness the sisters are now reunited. “Why did you cut your hair?” Brittany asks.
Beverley scoffed. “When I wouldn’t break completely, they forcefully cut my hair that I am not fully one of them so I was sent here for the meantime.” She explained.
The others just watched the drama in silence. “Nice leather there!” Ellen pointed and Beverley smiled. “You are now a Mordseth?” Milena walked closer to them and Brittany pulled her. “This is my friend….” Brittany introduced.
Beverley squints her eyes at her when Milena held her hand for a shake but suddenly gasped seeing the dragon necklace. “What’s the matter?” Brittany asks.
Beverley looked around suspiciously and pulled the two of them to a more secluded place with the others following. “Enamel…..” She said and Brittany quickly covered her mouth.
“How did you know? Not so many people knows the Enamel is alive.” Brittany scolds her. “That’s the topic on everyone’s lips right now.” Beverley rolled her eyes.
“You are the most wanted by different high ranked clans who has alliance with the sisters of the dark being promised a beautiful award.” Beverley says.
They looked surprised, when they were here thinking the Enamel is still safe with them. “How is that even possible?” Nora gawked.
“I didn’t know about this when the Mordseths abducted me but now, I understand.” Beverley says. “We don’t understand.” Ellen scoffed.
“In my sister’s home, Leader Sapphire visited.” She said and they gasped. “That is the leader of the sisters of the dark.” Nora whimpered, moving closer to Christian while he chuckled, she was afraid of them.
“She gave a decree that the dark princess will be awake soon and they need the Enamel. Going to all high ranked clans, they published it everywhere that the Enamel is wanted especially her blood!” She explained.
They all looked at Kristen who shrugged in return, what she actually said was true. “What do we do now?” Nora inquired, “The sisters of the dark are everywhere and we can’t fight them, we only need to be careful.” Beverley replied.
“Everyone down!!” Ellen yelled and they all went down in which Milena was a little slower that the arrow was only an inch above her head, the arrow was targeted at her.
Beverley shuddered angrily. “I was followed…” She gritted and from afar, they could see five Mordseths in red leathers with their agile pointed at them.
“Run!!” Christian yelled and immediately they all scattered, going through different directions heading towards the gate. “We are trapped!” Beverley yelled, there are sisters of the dark at the gate waiting for them.
They stopped, glancing at the Mordseths at their back and also the sisters of the dark at the front, these people really planned it well. “What do we do now?” Kristen and Nora panicked.
“We can’t fight them all especially the Mordseths.” Beverley said. “Why?” Nora cried. “Mordseths has the power to turn one’s magic against the person and our only weapon is the…Ageil!” She brought out hers from the leather trouser.
It made some weird sounds as she turned it in her palms ski||fully. “I will delay them a little, the sorceress should try a disappearing spell that would transport us all out of here.” She said.
They all looked at Ellen who seemed lost, what the hell were they talking about? “No, no! I don’t even know any of my sorceress powers yet.” She half yelled.
Beverley was already fighting the Mordseths as Ageil hit Ageil while the sisters of the dark took turns to attack the others.
Christian transformed into his wolf as he attacked some sisters biting their bodies while Kristen shook her head, seeing how the sisters of the dark were many, she had no choice than to transform too.
Milena groaned looking at herself, she doesn’t even know which power to make use of, her head was blank. She panicked at first but then controlled two arrows which were targeted at her, it burned to ashes.
Nora whimpered, she doesn’t have any powers but she could actually use one power she has. She crawled to an almost dead sister of the dark and touched her hand, she suddenly gasped.
Ellen was seriously panicking, she felt like crying. Brittany pulled to a place where not many people could see them and the scampering students actually helped in doing that.
Brittany jerked her towards herself. “Look at me! I know you are new into this but you have to help us, we are losing greatly.” She pointed to the fighting scene.
Kristen’s wolf was already wounded with dacra but she kept on fighting. Beverley was losing too, she was fighting five strong Mordseths for Zeus’s sake!
Ellen shook her head negatively, she doesn’t want them to lose. “Think about your mother disappearing that day, trust me you will pick something out of it.” Brittany urged her.
Ellen inhaled and exhaled, trying to replay the scenario in her head as she closed her eyes. “Sorceress….” Something whispered in her mind and just like a movie, Sandra tried to disappear.
The scene looked like it was in a slow motion but she could see her mother’s lips moving and she tried to follow the rhythm of the words.
She continued learning it and muttered it in real life, a blue invisible light rallied round her and she could feel her body becoming light. “Over here!!!” She yelled with all her strength.
Beverley, Kristen’s and Christian’s wolf, Nora and Milena and Brittany hugged Ellen and they disappeared almost immediately.
They reappeared in another place and Ellen grunted as she spit out blood. Kristen transformed back but her stomach was bleeding, Christian transformed back and Nora hugged him.
Christian removed his cardigan and used it to wrap Kristen’s stomach which was bleeding to stop the blood. “Where is this place?” Brittany muttered.
“I’m glad to meet the only Seer of our time.” A voice sounded and a chuckle followed, they all looked back but was shocked.
