My father died like a commoner in the hospital.
Thank God for the doctor who was our family friend. He was able to locate my Dad’s family so they could bury him otherwise my stepmother would have just abandoned him there.
I couldn’t come for my Dad’s burial because I never knew he was even dead⚰️
Few days after his burial, my stepmother was summoned for a family meeting and was seriously scolded by the family for abandoning his corpse at the hospital and also to go about with his property since he was no more.
My stepmother was able to tolerate the scolding but when she heard that my Dad’s Property would be shared, then the devil in her rose up.
She ordered her security men to beat everyone up in that meeting.
As for my devilish half-brother, he thr_@tened that if he saw them around my Dad’s Property he would ki|| all of them one after the other.

~A Year Later~
Kelly became the talk of the town, he went around squandering my Dad’s money on Women, drugs and clubbing.
What made it funny was that two ladies was already Pregnant for him.
As time flies one of them gave birth, and the other one gave birth to twins.
Kelly has nothing to worry about because him and his mother has already divided all of my Dad’s asset 60/40 so he has the money and nothing to worry about.
He even positioned some of his hoodlum friends.

One day my Dad’s lawyer called and asked me when I was coming back to Nigeria, that there’s something important that he needed to handover to me
“is everything okay sir?! I’ve not been able to get across to my dad for almost a year now, I even tried calling his cook but her number isn’t going through. Is anything the matter”
“Am sorry to break this sad news to you on phone, but your dad is dead Danielle” the lawyer replied!
it was as if my world has ended,🧬am I going to start from the scratch again? 🧬
I was even shocked when the lawyer told me that my stepmother is ceasing control over all of my Dad’s asset, and the reason he called me is because my stepmother and her son’s are coming to the US for vacation, to the house I was Precisely
“And your Dad wouldn’t want them to know that you’re alive right now!” the lawyer said!
“what was the cause of his death?” I asked!
“Well according to the doctor, it was confirmed that your father died of food poisoning , and It was said his personal cook was the one who poisoned him” the lawyer replied!
“No way, that woman would never do anything like that, infact she’s the reason why I’m still alive today
anyways am not coming to Nigeria anymore, I’m going to fight my stepmother and my half-brother from here.
In the US I have influence more than them, so let them come.
my Dad’s house in the US is my inheritance and I……….” The lawyer Interrupted me before i could finish my last statement!
“Young lady before you continue your numerous speech I want to let you know that there’s more to just his house in the US
before he died. He wrote down his will and incase you don’t know, every of his properties and assets belongs to you already
So are you coming to Nigeria? or you’re going to remain there and settle for less?”
“I’m coming sir” I wiped of my tears immediately.
“that’s the spirit” the lawyer hung up.
‘the hatred I had for Kelly increased and for his mother I’m not going to Punish her much because she always pretends to like me when I was living with them and I was able to settle with that’

~Few Days Later~
I entered Nigeria, with my gorgeous look, infact when you see me you’ll know Nigeria sun doesn’t fit my skin.
I knew my stepmother and my half-brother must have taken possession of my old apartment, instead of going back there I looked for an expensive hotel with an executive suite.
it wasn’t like the first time I came with my mom and we had to stay in a cheap hotel, this time I went for a first class suite to Lodge.

The next day I visited the prison with my Dad’s lawyer to see Ada (The Cook)
Myself and the lawyer find every means necessary to get Ada from prison.
when Ada was released I took her and the lawyer to my dad’s house
we strategize a plan that I would go first then the both of them should come from behind, which they did.
Immediately the security guard opened the gate and saw her Shouted “Ghost, Ghost, Ghost” and ran away
I majestically walked into the compound, as soon as the security guards who was guarding the place saw me they all ran away ‘GHOST’
I opened the door quietly and walked into the house like a ghost
Immediately my stepmother and half-brother saw me they ran like mad dogs looking for where to hide “GHOST GHOST GHOST” They Both Shouted!

🌱 CHAPTER 12 & 13
i couldn’t hold myself from laughing like a jackass, it was so hilarious seeing everyone running like I was chasing them.
“Danielle what happened, I saw Kelly and his mother running outside and telling me not to go in” the lawyer was surprise at the quietness of the house!
“What do you expect sir? they thought I was a ghost of course hahahaha hahahaha” Very funny!
“now that they’ve ran off, how can I handover this document to you in their absence?” the lawyer said.
“Sir don’t worry, relax, they will definitely come back, just feel at home let’s get you something to eat”
I got rid of the food that was already in the house and told Ada to cook something nice for our visitor to eat, Because I don’t no if it’s poisoned, i can’t take chances.
when the lawyer finish eating he called my stepmother to come back to the house that I wasn’t a ghost, not just my stepmother and half-brother but he called every of my dad’s worker from the lesser to the greatest and they all came.
“you survived? how’s that possible?” Kelly was wondering!
“you mean you’ve been alive all this while and no one spoke anything about it” step mother curiously asked but I Interrupted her before she could say another word!
“Shhh… hold it right there you witch, so you could ki|| me the way you ki||ed my father??” I said angrily!
“who do you think you’re talking to? is it my mother you’re talking to you bi**h” Kelly retaliated but the security guard prevented him from coming closer to me!
“Hold on hold on before you ki|| her the second time I think you and your mother need to listen to this” the lawyer reached out to his briefcase and pulled out the documents containing my Dad’s will.
everyone became quiet to hear what the lawyer wanted to say.
The lawyer shared a copied sheet to each of us.
“I had to give you all this piece of work to look, so it won’t sound like I’m trying to favour anyone, and as you all can see Mr Evergreen wrote this piece by himself before his Demise, I’m glad you all know his handwritings

after the lawyer finish, he handed me the original piece, I broke down in tears, 😭I still can’t believe my father is actually dead.

“Kelly are you crazy, do you realize who you’re pointing your gun at” I walked in front of him because I knew he can’t ki|| me, they are lots of security men pointing their gun at him already!
he pointed the gun to my face and pulled the trigger, but couldn’t $h00t because his mother began to cry and plead with him to put down the gun.

after he dropped the gun, i mischievously smiled at him and ordered my boys to take their car keys and ATM cards, I did not stop there,
“Pull his clothes, leave him with just is pants, everything they own is Own by my father and I’m taking them back” I smiled at his face and winked!

I ordered my boys to beat him mercilessly and throw him and his mother outside.
“Danielle you can’t do that, please don’t, he’s Your brother. don’t let those who have serve him do this to him. It would be a shame”she was screaming, while my boys held her by the two hands and and dragged her away!
“Even at the point of loosing everything you still care about dignity. This woman you’re useless!” I shook my head and ordered my boys to beat her up also!

they were beaten until the both of them collapse, the case of Kelly was even different because he was almost beaten to death.
the next morning, his mother manage to get herself and her son to the hospital, when I heard they were at the hospital I froze their bank accounts.
“mom, I must ki|| her, there’s no thing on earth that would stop me from ki||ing that Ɓîtçh, I swear on my life” on the hospital bed he made wows like he’s getting married.
“son focus on getting heal, after that we can take our revenge” his mother brought water and cloth to clean his wounds!
before I assumed my position as CEO of my Dad’s company I’ve already sacked all the hoodlums Kelly employed as his Workers, and drove out his baby mamas from my dad’s house.
I want to let this mother and son know that i didn’t came to Nigeria to joke with them, infact they will know they’ve made a big mistake for ki||ing my father, they will beg before eating, they will suffer.

discharging from the hospital, they both had no place to go neither money to spend, the only option they had was going to the ghetto where Kelly once reside after my dad disowned him.
when they got to the ghetto, Kelly’s mother’s hopes was high because she thought her son must have established a good apartment, when she saw where Kelly once lived, she said she’ll rather sleep outside than entering into his house.
“A Zinc apartment??? how come you’ve been living in a Zinc house, what have you been using the money I was sending to you..?” his mother was irritated by the house, she stood outside!
“Mom, you know how life is in the ghetto, when there’s money you win the street, when there’s money you become their god” Kelly replied hypocritically.
“this boy you’re mad oh, so you used all the money I sent to you to become a god, a god to thieves isn’t it?” with her hands Pointing to Kelly’s face!.
“Mom enough! if you cannot stay here then leave, Stop Embarrassing yourself” Kelly responded as he went inside to light his cigarettes!
“I would rather die than stay in this $h|t hole of a house” his mother walked away!
“Mom wait, Mom…….
what ever. Suit Yourself” he went back inside to continue his smoking as he switched on the radio to play reggae music!
after she left the ghetto she came directly to my house, pleading for my Forgiveness and help, she even offered to work for me.
“Danielle i don’t mind sweeping the compound every day for you, I can even clean the house” she knelt down crying and rubbing hands together to plead with me!
I shook my head and smiled ” Boys throw her out of the compound ” I entered my car and drove off almost hitting her down!

She had no choice than to go and live with her psycho son in the ghetto.
on her way going, her son baby Mamas saw her and followed to the ghetto with her.
When Kelly saw his mother, his two baby mama and three kids that became his motivation to assassinate me, so he gathered his gangs of hoodlum
