“You mean “Ha-da”? Or is it not him?” She repeated, not believing the sadden news.
And after some time, she fainted on the chair she sat on with a standing mirror beside her.

Balam had just rented an apartment. The people there are quite friendly.
When she sat on the chair, she remembered what she and Modeok discussed about.
“She said her mother was a stripper and she couldn’t get to see her face till now. But, why would a mother abandoned her child?
She must have really suffered a lot.” She muttered to herself.

Mrs. Kim ji won was well taken care of after the shocken incident.

She took her to a food seller shop and bought many delicious food for her.

“No need for that. The main reason why I told you to come here today’s to ask if you could come stay with me at my place.
It’ll be really nice to have you there coz it’ll make it more colorful.” Balam said as they were walking.
While Modeok eat a mouthful of the snack she was holding.
“Really?”
“Yes…”

“Leave that to me. I’m not happy seeing you here.”
“Thank you, Ma’am. But, why’re you speaking just like my Granny? Your words are quite good.
It stirs up my blood..” Modeok said, smiling.

After Modeok relocated to Balam’s home, everything has been really wonderful.
She treats her just like her Granny did. She could say hers was worse. Most of their neighbors thought she was her daughter, judging from the way she pampered her.
Modeok soon forget all the pains she went through in Hwan’s hands and she soon loved her new environment.
But days past, she stared noticing some funny signs in her. Like; headache, fever, vomiting and all sorts of signs she never once felt before.
“Modeok,are you sure you’re alright? You have been acting strange lately…” Balam said worriedly as she sat beside her.
“I don’t know it’s getting worse each day. I can’t explain how I felt again.” Modeok lamented.
“If that’s it, I should call a doctor to come and check on you. I’ll be back.” Balam said and leave she emerges with an elderly man who carried a small box in his hand.
After checking on her, he said something shocken to their hearings.
“She’s pregnant that’s why she has been having some funny signs lately. I’ll prescribed some drugs for her which’ll be used for some days.” The doctor declared.
“What?! I’m pregnant?!”
“Thank you doctor, see you!”
“Modeok, why’re you crying?” Balam asked as she entered.
“I don’t wanna be pregnant for him, mother. I don’t love him!” Modeok pouted, sadly.
“I understand, but you…”
“I don’t understand, mother. I h@ťě him, but yet I loved him touching me. I don’t know how I felt for him!
I don’t know, but I’m not happy carrying his baby. What kind of feelings have I developed for him?
