Death and Helen paced around the living room…
Mr Robert just sat down staring at the both of them.
“You know walking around like this won’t help”
Mr Robert said.
“What are we going to do??
Death asked.
Boss is getting closer in signing up for a jail ticket”
“I don’t know…
We were taken unexpectedly by that video clip which caused this”
Helen exhales and stopped pacing around… She sat down and one of Mr Carter’s men came in with an ipad.
“I think I have something we can use also,,
It’s might be of help”
Helen said.
Death and Mr Robert looked at her …
“And what’s that?”
Helen collected the ipad from him and played a video clip..
“This is the video I collected from the street cameras, Jaylen and mave using an unauthorized guns”
She smiles.
” I don’t see a way this can be useful
Mr Robert said.
Jaylen and mave are only trying to save their friends from your hands which they did”
” Yeah, you are right but that’s not what we are going to tell the judge right?
Helen smile..
“You know,, just the unauthorized weapon usage”
She said..
Mr Robert, Helen and death looked at each other..

” We have two weeks left, we still have the chance to bring Mr Carter to book by finding the evidence for Jenny’s dad murder ”
Mave said to the others.
” Mave is right, right now, the judge or let me say your boss can only give a small sentence.
Jaylen replied.
“We have to make him guilty of more crimes he has committed”
Jenny and Josephine nodded.
“So how are we going to find those evidence?? He was murdered years ago, that will be hard”
Olivia said.
“And also your dad has covered his tracks and trail”
It wouldn’t be easy”
Noah also said facing jaylen.
“Let’s go get some sleep now.. by tomorrow we will find a way to solve all issues ”
Jaylen said.
“Am feeling sleepily already, today has been tiring…

Josephine replied and stood up.

Jenny sighs and also stood up.
“Alright..
We all get some sleep and after exams papers tomorrow, we will find a solution ”

Jaylen and Jenny left the lecture auditorium after submitting their exam papers.
Everyone stares at them as they walk slowly.
” What’s going on?
Why is everyone looking at me? ”
Jaylen asked.
” I noticed that also,,
Jenny asked and look at Jaylen’s body.

Jaylen said grabbed jenny’s hands and walked away.
Racheal just shrugged.

Jenny’s phone beeped.
“Who is that?
Jaylen asked.
” It’s Noah… He said we should meet him at the library right now”
It’s very important”
Jenny said.
“Is it my library at my apartment or the one here in school?
“Really?Jaylen,,,
of course the school library”
Jenny grunts and walk away in an hurry,
“Sorry”
jaylen quickly followed behind her.

Jenny asked and sat down opposite him.
Jaylen stopped to catch his breathe.
” I have a lead to find an evidence for Mr taylor’s murder ” Noah said.
“Wow..
That’s great news, finally ”
Jaylen replied.
” Yeah,, but that lead will also make the evidence we want to find very hard to…
Cos it’s an accident”
” Yeah, it’s an accident but jaylen’s dad planned it to look like an accident right? ”
Jenny said.
” And that’s what make it difficult to find a proof, the accident happened years ago but the place of the accident was not disclosed, no one knows about it..
But “he paused for a while.
“I always have my ways” he smile.
“Okaaay??
Jenny said slowly.
“So ,, I search for articles online regarding the past accident of your parents maybe I could find the place the accident took place and luckily I found it,
Mr Carter both ki||ed your dad and mom on side lake road in Los Angeles.
The road was well known because of too much of snow flakes in that area when snowing”
Noah explained.
” So you find where my parents had an accident?
Jenny asked.
“Yeah,, since you nor either Josephine remembered it,
Noah shrugged.
So let’s go to Los Angeles and see maybe we can find something on that scene”
” The accident happened long ago,, things would have changed on that road, we might not find anything.

Jenny said holding something like a lost part of a car.
Jenny, jaylen and Noah wore all round sweater, hoodie and some hand gloves ? cos of the cold and the freezing wind.
The road was a little bit snowy as they always say.

Noah and jaylen rushed over to her… Noah collected it from her hands and check through.
“It’s a plate number”
Noah said…
“Do you still recognize your dad’s car when you are little?”
” Not much, I guess maybe Josephine do”
Jenny replied.

Mave asked as Josephine folded her arms.
“Yeah, we do…
How on earth did you became a judge? When did that happened?
Were you even a lawyer?”
Josephine also asked.

Am a judge, worked 13 years in a private law firm before deciding to work for the government ”
He replied.

” Am confused about something, if you are a judge, then why do you own a coffee shop.

” Well, my ancestors own this place,, this place has been existing since the 1800s ..My Greatgrand dads ventured into bar business many years ago, it was the famous bar restaurant back in the days.
It was passed to my grandad, then to my dad before I inherited it, and am going to pass it on to my kids”
It’s like we are leaving down something for our upcoming generations to depend on”
Josephine and mave nodded.
“Wow,, that’s a deep history of your family background”
Mave said.
“Yeah, and when I retire, am going to be a full time coffee attendant”
Manager James replied.
“So, since have cleared the air,, can you guys get back to work?”
Customers will soon start tripping in?
“No,, not yet boss…

Josephine said.

Mave and Josephine looked at each other.
“Can you help us win this court case?
Mave asked slowly.
Manager James chuckles..
” It doesn’t work like that.. am a judge, not a lawyer”

He said and stood up.
Sirens were heard outside the coffee shop.
“Take care of everything while am gone,,
Am off to work, my ride is here already”
Two police men came in and bow a little.
“Bye guys”
He said and walked out with the policemen.
Mave and Josephine stares at him till he walks out.
“He also has securities??
When did all this happened?
Mave asked still surprised.
“Gosh, I really wish he could be my mentor, for someone to graduate law school at the age of 19 while am still 27, studying law ”
Josephine burst into laughter….
” Still surprised as you are,, I can’t believe my eyes
Our boss is a judge and he is the only one that will give a judgement on Mr taylor’s murder case.
Life is just so entwined and confusing”
Josephine exhales and face Mave.
” Where is Noah and the others? ”
” They went to Los Angeles..
They will give me a call when they are back ”
Mave replied.

Olivia and Pearl stares at Noah as he explains everything that happened and what they saw.
Mave and Josephine also walked in just in time.
” So you are saying you found a plate number of a car at the scene of incident? ”
Olivia asked.
” Yeah, we did and we think it’s might be the car Jenny’s parents were driving that night before they crashed”
Noah replied.
” So how does that plate number help us?
Mave also asked.
“First, we found a little almost faded out fingerprint on the plate number and also we can use the plate number registration to find whose car is it first”
Jaylen said.
“Am already on that”
Pearl replied as she opened her system bag and brought out her computer
Everyone looked at her strangely.
She exhales.
“Have you guys forgotten I was an hacker when working for Mr Carter”
She said and turn on her personal computer.
“Give me those numbers”
Noah quickly wore his gloves and brought out the plate number from his school bag.
“Why are you wearing gloves?
Josephine asked.
” I don’t want to tamper with the fingerprints on it…

He replied.
“Oh,,
Josephine realized and smiles.
Noah called out the number.
Pearl entered everything into the computer and seconds later, a page of information appears on the screen.
Everyone rushed to take a view.
Mr taylor’s picture was shown, his DOB, date of car purchase and plate registration number.
“It’s our dad’s car”
Josephine and Jenny said at the same time.
“Yeah, I was right…
Noah replied
“And one more thing, the fingerprints on the plate number,, I don’t know how that happened and how it’s remained untampered for years but we can find out whose fingerprints are those
It might be the murderer”
Noah said.
” Noah is right, cos someone shot at us that night and my dad almost hit him before he jumped off the road and our car turned over,
Josephine also said.
So I think maybe he touched…
“The car plate number before jumping off”
Jaylen completed her statement.
“Noah, can you send those fingerprints to Mr James?
He can help with that”
” Sure…
Noah replied.
“Noah, you did a good work, thanks for everything
Jenny thanked him.
Noah smile.
Pearl, you can go back to Mr Carter’s allies and check out what they are planning..
Jaylen said.
Noah and I will go see Mr James about the fingerprints”
” What will we guys do?
Mave asked.
“Just stay and watch TV or maybe do something else”
Jaylen shrugged.

~Crescent research laboratory ~
Mr James and two other scientist were in the laboratory testing for the fingerprints.
They have been in the laboratory for more than three hours.
Jaylen and Noah waited outside the lab waiting for a result.
Finally Mr James put off his lab coat and googles. He removed his gloves and washed his hands at the basin before walking out.
Other scientist were still in there working.
“How is it, Mr James
Were you able to find whose fingerprints were those?”
Noah asked.
“Yes, but it was very difficult…
And we noticed the fingerprints matched with those ones we have here in CRL”
Mr James replied.
” What do you mean? ”
Jaylen asked.
“The owner of those prints works right here in CRL”
And the owner is Liam Payne, he murdered Jenny’s parents.
” Who is Liam Payne??
How do we find him? ”
Noah asked.
” He works for Mr Carter…
You guys know him, he nicknamed himself death ”
” Death??
Jaylen and Noah said at the same time.
