CHAPTER 27
” Skylar, it’s late why are you awake ?” Kiara asked as it was already midnight ” Levi, isn’t back yet ” Skylar replied and Kiara nodded in agreement ” I’m sure he’s safe ” Kiara assured.
” I’m really worried, what if something bad happen to him ?” Skylar asked worriedly ” I thought you don’t like him and you won’t notice his disappearance huh sky you’re so confusing, if Levi is here you act like you don’t need him or care about him which obviously hurts his feelings, then when he’s not around you’re suddenly worried or maybe you’re missing him hmmm is that love I smell ?” Kiara asked and Skylar hissed before walking towards the door.
” Oh my God, Skylar is in love, I’m so happy for you” Kiara said as she stood behind her ” Get some rest, I’ll be back ” Skylar said.
” No, I can’t let you go out it’s dangerous ” Kiara said as she hold Skylar hand ” Fine and stop being touchy, I don’t like it ” Skylar said as she stepped back.
” But if it’s Levi, you would want him to explore your body ” Kiara thoughts before she sighed ” Explore my body, when ? How ?” Skylar asked as she pulled Kiara by the ear.
When Kiara walked out she noticed a strange dog, she had been seeing this particular dog around her house for some days now, she wondered if it was lost.
” Come on I don’t have time “Skylar said as Kiara was still staring at the dog before she ran after Skylar.
They walked towards the forest and they stopped in front of a tree ” Riley ” Skylar yelled but got no response
Kiara just stood quietly leaves rustling in the cold wind. Skylar yelled again but got no answer ” that’s odd” Skylar said as she looked around.
” Is someone supposed to answer ?” Kiara asked ” yes, she always answer whenever I called but now where the f-__-k is she ?” Skylar asked.
” We should go home, I’m freezing ” Kiara replied and Skylar nodded ” sometimes I feel like the elder, wait maybe I’m the elder ” Kiara said and Skylar pushed her ” keep quiet and walk faster, someone is watching us ” Skylar whispered.
” Should we follow them ? ” Someone from the shadows asked and the girl chuckled ” Not yet, she. Will come to us herself ” the girl replied

When morning arrived Kiara walked towards Skylar room, she knocked but got no response.
” Skylar are you still sleeping ?” Kiara asked ” Why am I even knocking ?” Kiara asked before she banged inside the room but paused when Skylar bed was soaked with salty ocean water.
” Skylar, are you okay ?” Kiara asked as she touched Skylar tail ” yes, it usually happens ” Skylar replied.
” Wow so pretty ” Kiara exclaimed as her nails trailed over the tail, Skylar use the tail to push Kiara’s hand away ” stop touching, I’m very sensitive” Skylar said
“Tell that to Levi not me ” Kiara thought as she stood up from the ground ” what’s your problem with Levi ?” Skylar asked annoyed.
” My problem is that you’re hurting him gosh why can’t he find someone better than you ?” Kiara asked angrily.
” Someone better than me ?” Skylar repeated ” will I ever lie to you ?” Kiara asked and Skylar nodded ” wh@ťěver, I can’t wait to welcome his new girlfriend ” Kiara taunt.
” New girlfriend wait Levi has another girlfriend?” Skylar asked but Kiara was just playing with her tail ” Does he have any mate or girlfriend ?” Skylar asked.
” No because someone rejected him and now he has moved on ” Kiara replied ” So he doesn’t have another girlfriend ? ” Skylar asked.
“maybe, wait this means that levi went to his girlfriend house, that will be so cute ” kiara said as she didn’t notice the look on skylar face since she was so busy with her tail.
” Do you eat fish ?” kiara asked and skylar frowned upon her statement ” No, Never ” she replied as it was obvious that she’s irritated.
“do you eat fish kiara ?” Skylar asked ” yes of course they are delicious ” kiara replied and Skylar moved away that was when kiara looked up. ” are mermaid also delicious ?” kiara asked
” Kiara, don’t come close ” skylar warned in a shaking voice. ” don’t be scared I won’t eat you, how will I eat my own sister ?” kiara asked.
” How can you eat fish ?” Skylar asked instead and Kiara laughed ” everyone wants fish” Kiara explained ” gosh also have life ” Skylar pointed out.
” I Know but my stomach won’t feed it’s self “Kiara said rubbing her stomach. Just then Levi walked in ” Levi, you’re back ” Kiara cheered as she hugged him.
” I was only gone for some hours “Levi replied ” you smell different,like really different,who was she? Tell me tell me ” Kiara asked as she shaked Levi.
” She’s someone ” Levi said and Kiara smiled ” And ?” She asked and Levi laughed ” I met her last night ” Levi replied and Kiara clapped in happiness.
” What happened to you ?” Levi asked refferring to Skylar ” I found her like this anyways forget about her,tell me about the girl ” Kiara replied.
” Kiara, why must you know everything ?” Levi asked and Kiara looked away ” Fine, she’s segzy ” Levi said and Kiara eyes lit up.
” I like her already, what’s her name ?” Kiara asked ” Skylar are you okay ?” Levi asked and Skylar nodded.
“She’s fine, tell me more ” Kiara assured but Levi wasn’t listening to her anymore ” I’m fine, don’t worry”Skylar said.
Levi looked at Skylar before he looked away making Skylar to look down ” pervert ” Skylar cursed ” Levi,stop looking at my sister B-__-bs,she’s very sensitive “Kiara said as she closed his eyes.
” What about you ? ” Levi asked and Kiara smirked ” I don’t know ” Kiara replied and Levi laughed.
” So how can she change back ?” Levi asked ” oh I thought I was invisible ” Skylar replied.
” Don’t listen to her Levi,she was worried sick about you last night ” Kiara said and Levi laughed ” why are you laughing ?” Skylar asked.
” I was a bit busy, so I couldn’t come home on time “Levi replied through his laugh ” With a girl right ?” Skylar asked .
Levi face turn serious ” it’s none of your business sky, have you forgotten what you did to me ?” Levi asked.
Skylar shake the water off her body as she turn into a human ” Excuse me ” Kiara said as she ran out but stood by the door to eavesdrop.
” What’s with the attitude ?” Skylar asked ” so now am the one giving attitude huh ?, Wow sky you really amaze me ” Levi asked .
” I don’t care if I amaze you or not, anytime you want to leave then you have to inform me first ” Skylar warned and Levi chuckled.
” As what exactly ?” Levi asked, Kiara who was eavesdropping giggled ” I expected you to be silent, tell me something Skylar, who am I to you ?” Levi asked.
The room feel into silence, Skylar stood there quietly without saying a word. ” Answer me ?” Levi said.
