CHAPTER 19
The moment the sword touched the bus, it let out a little glow
* Clack *
A sound was heard as Kiara pulled the sword out, the bus suddenly parted into two with Antonio and the creature on one part and the rest on the other part.
Antonio who fell down because of the force was attacked by the creature, Kiara stepped back suddenly ran before she jumped and landed on top of the creature.
The bus suddenly turn upside down and Kiara head hit the iron, Antonio stood up and picked Kiara up ” Where is your chain ?” Antonio asked and kura touched her neck.
Before looking at at the creature who was running away ” Thief ” Kiara screamed and ran after the creature.
Since Antonio was faster than Kiara , he took charge and launched towards the creature.
* Flap *
The creature was thrown and it landed on top a pole that stabbed its third eye and it fell down dead.
A girl picked the chain and smiled slightly, Antonio and Kiara who arrived at the scene found the ONI laying dead ” Here, I think this belongs to you ” the girl said giving Kiara the chain.
Levi POV
Staring at kiara who jumped off the the bus land successfully on the other part of the bus, I let out a sigh of relief ” Wait who’s driving ?” Oscar asked as the realization hit him.
Luke sat on the seat but groan in frustration ” it’s no use “Luke said as he stood up ” we have to Juno out, that’s the only choice we have ” Tracy said as she stared at them.
” Let’s be quick we are drawing a lot of attention ” Oscar said as he pulled Tracy along with him as they jumped out.
” Come on lily ” Luke said and Lily nodded as she gave Luke her hand. I stared at the sword quietly before picking it up.

” Mermaid, how did you get here ?” Antonio asked and the girl frown ” My name is Skylar, call me sky for short ” she said coldly.
Just then the rest of them walked in and they gasp as they looked at Kiara then Skylar” what’s going on ?” Oscar asked as he was confused.
” This is the mermaid we are talking about ” Kiara replied as she Introduced Skylar to them ” I need help ” Skylar said and they exchanged looks.
” We need to leave the police are coming ” Luke exclaimed and they nodded.
Arriving at the hospital they made their way to aunt jadle ward. When they got to aunt ward, they were surprised to see her by the window ” I was waiting for you all” she said turning around surprising them when she hugged Skylar.
” Sorry I didn’t come earlier” Skylar said and aunt nodded ” it’s okay, at least you’re here ” aunt replied
” What the f-__-k is going on ?” Kiara asked and aunt looked at her.
” Seems like the Battle already started ” aunt responded as she nodded their uneven breath. ” Why does she have my face ?” Skylar asked as it was the only question bordering her ever since she met Kiara.
” Well since your parents are no more, I guested I have to tell you what happened ” aunt said taking a seat ” Go on and please don’t speak in riddles ” Kiara pointed out.
Why does Skylar look like her ? Does she have a twin?
” Skylar is your older sister, she’s your twin… ” Aunt jadle said and Kiara stepped back in shock ” She’s my twin, seriously….how come I never met her ?” Skylar asked.
” Years ago, when you were born, we were so happy but was later informed that your mother was still in labor, after 30 minutes Kiara was born but something strange happened ” aunt explained as she stared at Kiara who was lensing by the wall.
” What’s strange about us ?” Kiara asked and aunt cleared her throat ” I don’t know yet, but After five years Skylar was taken away due to some incident, I honestly can’t tell you now, we did everything to look for her but no avail ” aunt replied and Kiara looked at Skylar then aunt.
” So now come we don’t remember anything about each other ” Kiara asked and Skylar nodded ” Kiara, well before Skylar was taken away you almost ki||ed her and I still don’t understand why ” aunt jadle replied helplessly.
Almost ki||ed her twin how’s that possible? And why doesn’t she remember anything ” so you kept all this information away from me, for so many years…how long where you planning to hide it ?” Kiara yelled and the window cracked.
Aunt jadle shake her head ” Kiara, it was the best decision your parents made and they made me promise not to tell you ” aunt replied.
” Best decision, seriously I have been leaving in lies all my life and you’re telling me it was the best decision my parents ever made ?” Kiara asked as her eyes darkened.
A force pinned Kiara to the wall and everyone looked at Skylar, Kiara groaned as black lines appeared on her body ” Sky, stop it….you’re hurting her ” Aunt said and Skylar pulled away.
” What’s your f-__-king problem ?” Kiara asked as she stared at Skylar ” Gosh family drama is so interesting ” Levi said as he took a bite from his Apple.
” So I have a younger sister, who’s powers is Chao,how’s that possible she literally represent death ” Skylar asked.
” Death !!!” They chorused as they looked at Kiara who was patting ” Skylar ” aunt called and Skylar got the message immediately.
Skylar kissed Kiara’s forehead and Kiara blincked ” Are you lesbian or what ?” Kiara asked and Skylar blincked ” What’s lesbian ?” Skylar asked
“Can the both of you be serious ” Antonio asked and they hissed ” Anyways Skylar isn’t a mermaid but the chain gives her powers of a mermaid or am I mistaking ?” Oscar asked.
” That’s doesn’t make any sense ” lily pointed out ” Maybe it’s fate ” Aunt said and Kiara looked at her angrily ” Fate ? Seriously why do I have the feeling that you know something but hiding it ” Kiara asked.
” Those two chains represent something right ?” Antonio asked s d aunt jadle sighed ” I don’t know ” she replied ” You enter start talking because am fed up ” Kiara said.
” It’s easy to tell dummies, they represent life and death ” Skylar said ” How did you know that ?” Tracy asked. ” You’re right sky, but I don’t know how to identify it ” aunt said
Skylar chuckled ” that’s even easier, the one with the sword represent death while the one with the book represent life ” Skylar replied.
Everyone turned to Kiara , who also turned around ” what are you guys looking at ?” She asked and they looked away.
” Should we tell her ?” Tracy asked ” No , you don’t want her to blow up ” Oscar replied ” what are you guys talking about ?” Kiara asked and they paused.
” Nothing ” they chorused and Kiara frowned ” gosh I feel like running away ” Kiara said in her mind ” You can’t run away now ” Skylar said.
” You can hear my thoughts ?” Kiara asked and Skylar nodded ” Humans listen to others thoughts right ?” Skylar asked and Levi coughed ” No, can you read mine ?” Levi asked
” No, I can’t only her ” Skylar replied ” wow, so twins can hear each other, omg I also want my twin “lily exclaimed.
” No that’s not possible, those tattoo on your left shoulders are also strange ” Aunt added ” huh I thought my mum marked me ” Skylar pointed out.
” First I have a twin sister who’s annoying, secondly I don’t have any privacy , I can’t even think without her knowing, thirdly I don’t even know what you guys are talking about ” Kiara complained.
Skylar put the book and sword on the table and looked at Kiara ” I need you to call one of them ” Skylar said and Kiara blincked.
” Seriously, they ain’t alive so they won’t hear me ” Kiara said ” Just do as she asked Kiara, stop acting stubborn” aunt said.
” Wow, you’re already picking favorites ” Kiara said and Skylar frowned ” Kiara, the one your spirits choose will give us a clue about your powers ” aunt explained.
” Remember when the sword appeared when Kiara was in trouble, I have an idea ” Levi said and everyone looked at him ” Where did he go ?” Aunt asked as Levi disappeared.
” Wow Levi showing off your powers ” Antonio teased ” f-__-k you” Levi said from the shadows and Antonio laughed.
Kiara suddenly groaned as something pushed her away, Her inner spirit shaked as she was scared, was her nightmares back again ?
Levi picked Kiara up and throw her across the ward , everyone gasp as the sword almost stabbed Levi ” Well it’s the sword ” Skylar announced as she turned to the book direction.
” Levi, you’re so mean ” Kiara said as Levi helped her up, everyone exchanged looks ” Awkward….” Tracy exclaimed as Kiara looked at them.
