“What the f-__-k are you saying?” Don growled.
“Erm…. She ran away from home, she’s a bìtch. She sleeps around with men and….” A loud sound was what followed.
He slapped Della.
“How dare you address my Lola as a bìtch? What? She sleeps around with me? My Lola will never f-__-king do that!” Don yelled
Sara shivered in fear. This was what she has been fearing all along, the sudden return of their master.
“I’m sorry” Della muttered.
“Now, tell me where my daughter is. I don’t want to hear that $h|t”
Della fell on her knees as she broke down in tears.
“We tried our best, we searched everywhere but she was nowhere to be found” she lied.
“Then, what the f-__-k are you doing relaxing in my house when my daughter is missing?!” Don yelled.
“Mateo, call the men and take them to the torture room when we arrive at the clan” He ordered.
“Please save us, please” Della clasped her hands together, pleading desperately.
“Mateo, right now!” Don half yells
In a flash, the door bursted open and about five men entered the room, looking so well built and scary.
“Take them away!” Mateo instructed.
Della and Sara was bundled away by the men, not giving an ear to their countless pleadings as they were dragged away.
“What are you going to do now? You don’t even have an idea of where she is” Mateo said immediately the house was suddenly silent.
“And that’s why I’m going crazy here. I asked her to watch over my daughter only to be informed she’s missing?”
“Why don’t you take a look around the house to see if you can see any pics of her? You can also have a clue of what she looks like since you left when she was still little” Mateo suggested.
Don nodded.
“Let’s take a look around” he muttered.
Mateo smiled gently and they both left the living room.
“Do you still remember her room?” Mateo asked.
“Sure, I can never forget that” Don replied.
They got to a door, Don opened it and they both entered. His eyes wandered around the room which seems to have changed a lot over the years, he went to the table where the portrait of Valerie’s pictures were.
He picked a portrait which was a picture of her when she was still a little girl and smiled. He really missed her a lot.
He dropped it carefully and then picked another one, which was a picture of her when she’s an adult. He smiled, but then stopped smiling immediately he saw what was written below the picture.
“Valerie Hernandez at 21?” He read aloud.
“What?” Mateo asked beside him.
“Is this your daughter? I must say, she’s very beautiful” he commented.
“I know, right? She had grown to a beautiful woman now. But why does she look so familiar and Valerie? Valerie?” His eyes widened.
He faced Mateo in shock.
“She’s the girl with Fernando!” He exclaimed.
“Fernando?”
“$h|t! I asked him to eliminate her within three days. f-__-k, why am I still here?” He rushed out of the room with the portrait in his hands.
“Don, wait!” Mateo quickly went after him.
“Drive quickly” Don instructed the driver when he got to the car Mateo got into the passengers seat.
The driver did as he was instructed and drive out of the house speedily, the other cars behind them followed immediately.

“Weakness?? What’s his weakness?” Valerie asked.
Fernando smiled.
“I won’t tell you, you’ve done enough already” he muttered.
Valerie pouts.
“Please tell me, I can be of help too” she mumbled.
“I won’t. You don’t have to stress yourself, you just have to be careful”
Valerie folds her arms across her chest and sat on the bed sulkily.
“Wait, do you wanna cry?” Fernando asked.
Valerie’s lips quivers slightly.
“You don’t trust me” a tear dropped down her cheek.
“Of course I do, I trust you more than my life, Val” he muttered
A quick smile formed on Valerie’s lips.
“You sure?” She asked.
He quickly nodded.
“So don’t cry anymore, okay?” He asked and she smiles before nodding her head.
“Now, sit here. I’ll be back soon, make sure you stay in here, okay?” He asked.
She nodded again like an obedient dog.
Fernando chuckled before kissing her forehead.
“I’ll be back soon” he pecks her lips before leaving the room.
Valerie played with her fingers as she suddenly grew bored. She stood up and paced around the room, humming a song gently.
Her eyes went to the room she saw Fernando coming out from earlier, out of curiosity, she walked closer to it.
She held the doorknob and pushed the door lightly, thankfully, it was opened. She took in a sharp breath before entering the room.
The room was very dark that she suddenly regretted why she entered in the first place. She placed her hand on the wall, trying to steady herself so she could find a way out of the room as she was already getting scared.
Immediately her hand touched the wall, the room was suddenly bright and that was when she discovered she had actually switched on the light.
She looked around the room and a ‘wow’ escaped her lips. It was filled with pictures of a beautiful woman and a man, a little boy is among them.
She smiled and picked a frame, she touched the boy who was so cute that she couldn’t help but to kiss the picture.
“But whose pictures are these?” She mumbled to herself.
She dropped the frame and picked another one which was the picture of a man and woman, it shows they were really happy.
“Could they be Ferdie’s parents?” She asked herself
She looked at the picture intently, and didn’t fail to recognize the resemblance between Fernando and the man in the frame.
“Then the little boy is Fernando?” She smiled.
“He’s so cute” she gushed.
“His mom is so pretty, too bad she had to leave the world early”
“Where’s Fernando? Call him and tell him I’m here” she heard a voice.
She dropped the frame back in it’s position and walked to the door.
“Are you really sure she’s your daughter?” She heard another voice
“She is. I already saw her once and it’s the same picture I saw in the frame. Why didn’t I actually recognize her? I didn’t even recognize her name” she heard the first voice.
“I’m a bad father. I don’t even know if she’s going to forgive me. I’ve always known her to be Lola not Valerie. We named her that after my mother and she loved the name so much”
Valerie stood frozen to the spot immediately she heard that.
“Lola? My father?” She quickly rushed out of the room.
Don and Mateo got startled immediately she appeared from nowhere.
“Who are you?” Valerie asked slowly.
“How did you know my name and what do you mean by my father? Who are you?” Valerie asked.
“It’s you, it’s you” Don smiled trying to take a step closer to her. Valerie moved backwards and the smile disappeared from his face.
“Lola, I know you won’t believe me but I’m your father. It’s me, Donald” Don said.
“What are you talking about? Who’s Lola?” They heard Fernando’s voice behind them.
Valerie quickly rushed to his side.
“Ferdie, I think they’re bad people. What if they’re from Arturo trying to harm me?” Valerie asked
“Lola…” Don tried to call.
“Why are you calling her Lola?” Fernando asked, this time more louder.
